Bought 6 beef burgers of which the 2 i have had as chunks of bone in. The 1 piece of sirloin steak I had cost £8 and cooked medium rare left to rest for 10 minutes was like eating leather . Pork Pie that was recommended by many people was very disappointing when I cut into it the jelly just all ran out ,very disappointing

Normally rate this butchers a 4-5 as outstanding quality and reasonably priced. However, had the worst pork pies from you guys today I’m afraid. The crust was very soft, filling bland and tasted old. Will definitely try again at some stage but wanted to let you know.

The best bacon sandwiches in the area, with fresh bread baked onsite every morning. High quality eggs and their home made black pudding is legendary! Friendly staff put Watsons above all the rest.

The best pork pies ever are found here, fresh and baked on site. When visiting family we have to bring some home too. Fresh cobs are a must too.

Had a lovely lasagne, hot and really nice. Not microwaved and rubbery like some chain pubs can be. Service was good and the waiting staff pleasant and friendly. Really good value for money.

Our jacket potatoes and baked beans were cold. We should have taken them back. When I mentioned it there was no apology, she said 3 times, "you should have brought them back" the tone of voice insinuating that we were in the wrong.
