Great food from this Chinese takeaway, and we’re quite fussy! 😁

We visited the Highfield with friends and family for a meal in Thursday night. Good choice of food was really good and well presented. Vegetarian choices could be better but that's the company not the staff. Lovely staff members made to feel welcome, friendly and helpful. Nice environment lovely meal hot which I like so hats off to the kitchen staff. Thanks again for a lovely meal. We will all see you soon. Thanks Julie

Fantastic service i asked for a well cooked surloin steak and they mistakenly gave me a medium rare but resolved the issue instantly and apologised profusely and even asked if i wanted a free dessert bless them very polite and one of my favourite places to eat and drink atmosphere is always good i hope the staff do not change anytime soon as they are fantastic plus i said no to the free dessert and they instantly resolved the issue i cannot express how important good cistomer service is and they hit the nail on the head id give this place 10 stars if i could leep up the good work!!!

Fantastic staff, comfortable, spotless restaurant and lovely food. Everything we had was beautifully cooked. We had lunch and dinner with breakfast the following day and we couldn’t fault any of it.

Lovely spot to stop for coffee. Rear room is dog friendly but not very well signposted. Scones undercooked and coffee cold despite request for extra hot! Upholstery in need of a good clean!!

Bought some tomato sausages went to cook them and they all split open turned to mush and to bin them as couldn’t tell if cooked or not waste of £4

Bought 6 beef burgers of which the 2 i have had as chunks of bone in. The 1 piece of sirloin steak I had cost £8 and cooked medium rare left to rest for 10 minutes was like eating leather . Pork Pie that was recommended by many people was very disappointing when I cut into it the jelly just all ran out ,very disappointing

We spent a lovely evening here tonight eating a great fish and chips meal. Lewis at the bar was exceptionally friendly and helpful as we ordered via the QR code which we had never done before. The meal was excellent and the atmosphere very convivial. We will certainly be having another meal in the restaurant tomorrow evening.
