The best restaurants serving British food in Loughborough Southfields Charnwood East Midlands

We were blown away by the quality of the food and the bar was well stocked and well run. But what I shall really take away from the day is the fantastic attentive servers. So polite in their immaculate uniforms , they made the day really special. I only wish other establishments paid as much attention to this fundamental aspect of hospitality. We will be back as soon as we can but I really hope the car parking situation gets sorted out soon.

Found this place whilst shopping in Loughborough. It's an amazing little place. It's warm and cosy and the staff were so lovely, happy and helpful. Coffee and tea were delicious. The Bakewell tart was exceptional. I took home the last croissant on the shelf that day and enjoyed it for my breakfast the next day, just lengthening my 58 experience. In the New Year we are returning for lunch and maybe try one of their taster nights.

A charming pub with excellent service and friendly staff. Pizzas are done in a full sized pizza oven and taste delicious!

Visited this cafe for nearly a year now. Portion sizes are a good size. Favourite place for lunch as they do cheese and bean toasties. Always choose here when coming with family. Cafe also offers a variety of lovely cakes. Very busy and popular. Service always with a smile. Can’t wait to go again already!

Nice staff near car park Granby street fresh cappacino with great frothed milk nice experience. Mike friendly staff clean lovely place highly Recommended

Went in yesterday for lunch was limited on wot was available had a cheese burger and my daughter had chicken nuggets the burger was full of greece and burgers was over done cheese was brown around the edges my daughter chicken nuggets was over cooked sorry we won't be going bk

A passable Wetherspoons pub that served a purpose that morning to give us a spot to rest up and have a coffee. Totally unmemorable and unremarkable, a Wetherspoons pub that feels like it has had it's time and they've had enough. Really didn't enjoy either of the 'Spoons in Loughborough at all which is a shame. When run properly, Wetherspoons has a place in a town, sadly not in Loughborough apparently.

Food was great considering the price, curry was tasty and served quick. Duncan was a great server, polite and attentive.

El vestíbulo del hotel combinado, zona de salón y el restaurante tienen un diseño moderno y el menú de este establecimiento es bastante completa. Los entrantes son un poco caro pero la comida está bien presentada y recién preparada por un chef experimentado claramente y muy capaz. los platos principales siendo respetable £10.00 - £20.00 por cabeza el precio es razonable. Si el ambiente era que de una única solo restaurante entonces éste sería más exclusivo de lo que es en la actualidad. Sin duda vale la pena probar y la comida no le decepcionarán.

Nice bar, good food, friendly staff, BUT DO NOT USE THE TOILETS 🤢. They were absolutely disgusting! I should of known when walking up the stairs to them! I don’t think they had been cleaned for weeks!cobwebs everywhere, no toilet paper, toilets hadn’t and wouldn’t flush! No lock on the doors!! Terrible.. and the smell!! 🤢🤢.

Put your spatula down, throw that joint of meat at the neighbour’s annoying cat, and take off that silly apron. Save yourself from insanity, boredom and a dirty oven, and get your arse down to The Blacksmiths. A Sunday dinner that would make the first British ancestors weep with pride of what they started. Got a loved one thats too good for you, and you want to treat them for a meal before they realise they could do better? Take them over here and youll be sorted nicely. Book and enjoy!
