Visited this cafe for nearly a year now. Portion sizes are a good size. Favourite place for lunch as they do cheese and bean toasties. Always choose here when coming with family. Cafe also offers a variety of lovely cakes. Very busy and popular. Service always with a smile. Can’t wait to go again already!

I asked if they had a vegetarian breakfast, the lady behind the counter said no !!! She said she could do beans or poached egg on toast " I didn't ask for that so why would I want that " she then said I could have a mozzarella panini? 🤔 I didn't even ask if it was vegetarian because she was looking at me like I was weird for being vegetarian lol My partner had an all day breakfast, so why couldn't I have similar but with no bacon or sausage ? 🙄" Again no option because the lady couldn't be bothered with me, and was staring at me making me feel embarrassed in front of everyone. To put up and shut up, i said i will have a cheese and tomato toastie, hmmm ... it was a cross between a toastie and a sandwich 🤣 It was toast which was good 🤣 , but the cheese and tomato wasn't melted, just put in like a sandwich 🤔 ? If you are vegetarian don't bother going here, and also the lady behind the counter with the dark hair " you need to do customer service training " 😉

Have been going to pParty Pieces in Loughborough for quite a few years, the standard of food is very high, the best , in my opinion, in town. A friendly and welcoming atmosphere and Steve and Sally front of house. A simple menu with tasty fillers, but for the best expoerience, it has to be the cakes. I have added inches from the taste testing of the complete range, I have notable favourites, but to those that have never been, put it on your bucket list, you'll not be disappointed.

I have now been eating here for a mere two and a half years, that's not long at all because Steve and his parents have been the proud owners for 28 years and it was a cafe for just another 20 years or so before them! The food is simply brilliant, cakes made on the premises, far too many, it's impossible to choose, even the flapjacks are great because they are moist and not dry as a bone as some peoples are. The Polish cake is a child's delight, and their parents love it too! Breakfast is wholesome and warming, no skimping on quantity and the ingredients are fresh not frozen and made locally, you even get a free second drink if you buy one with the breakfast! The menu is not small, and if you can't quite decide there's many who adjust it to their own taste. Try the ham!!!! it's just great quality and a big portion as always. One last thing to say and another reviewer has already said it.... why is Party Pieces not higher on this list for Loughborough? I have done a check, 12 of those above are not even in Loughborough! People in Quorn, Wymeswold, Shsepshed, East Leak, etc don't think they Live in loughborough lol So that means Party Pieces is really number 10!! Get it higher folks, they really deserve it!

My partner, sister in law, daughter and myself visited Loughborough on the 14th September for a mooch and to look around some shops. After an hour in Primark refreshments became a high priority. We decided to avoid the over hyped ,and over priced, Costa and opt for the pleasently situated Party Pieces. A very friendly, tastefully decorated and delightful cafe situated on Market street Loughborough. We opted for a seat inside, however there was outdoor seating available. We ordered 2 Lattes, 1 Tea, 1 slice of Carrot cake and 2 cream Scones. The order arrived swiftly and promptly and filled our table. The portions are HUGE!! The Carrort Cake was moist and the Scones were to die for!! filled with cream and Jam. The Tea for 1 is generous and the Lattes are massive. It is the bestcoffee i have tasted, just how i like it and much better than Costa, or Gregs for that matter.Exceptional value and a real treat for a lazy Sunday lunchtime visit. We will definaletly be visiting again and again. Steve and the team have made this one of the best places in Loughborough. The fact it is 37 out of 183 in Loughborough is baffling, it needs to be number 1!!On another note myself and my partner visited party pieces for a late breakfast before our Sunday vist which is an absolute steal!! A monsterous breakfast, tea and toast set you up for the day. Thanks to Steve and the team for for such a wonderful service and delicious treats, we will be back asap!

Took my mum for a day trip to Melton Mowbray and Loughborough on Tuesday 15th July, we were dropped off up near the Bell Foundry and strolled in to the town centre. As we strolled along we came across Party Pieces Café. Feeling hungry, we entered and both ordered a Egg Mayo Salad. Everything on the salad was very fresh and it was quite a big salad for a small price. My mum couldn't eat it all, so she put the egg in to the rolls and asked if she could have a bag so she could eat them later. A lovely clean tidy café which I would visit again if in the area.

This is one of those places that straddle the border between an old fashioned greasy spoon and a modern continental style coffee bar. It does both with aplomb: the food is fresh, tasty and generous; and the coffee is good. Like others have said, it caters for a wide clientele and is all the better for it. Good value too.Just one caveat: I wish they’d sort the sticky front door out – when your couldn’t-care-less types (and the world is full of them) don’t physically shut it behind them, it sticks open a few inches and it was blowing a icy gale down my wife’s neck. We had to keep getting up to close it.

Well the food hasn't even arrived yet and the service has been rude, surly and unfriendly. The place is freezing and the staff refused to put the heater on and then told us after 10 minutes of waiting, it would be 15 minutes for veggie sausage. Very overpriced. As it was a sunny day, the place was busy although we found a table. Recently the menu has changed in my view for the worst. Prices have leapt with choice not as good as it used to be. Although our order arrived in decent time one or two people who came in after us left upon being informed there was a waiting time of over 30 mins for cooked food. We have been regulars here but with the menu change and big increase in prices will sadly look elsewhere.

A fantastic night with friends enjoying the cocktail masterclass with Jerome a great bartender and entertainer. Jerome knows his stuff, easily explaining what to mix and how, with a little bit of science too. We gratefully accepted the cocktails he made so effortlessly and then had a go at making our own, Jerome’s teaching style made this fun and easy and overcame any of our nerves with encouragement and humour. My most favourite little deli! Have been coming here for 11+ years and have never left disappointed. The food is fantastic and whenever I take people there (generally grabbing lunch with a colleague) they're always impressed with the quality of the food. Personal favourites are the brie and bacon baguette and THE WORLDS BEST lemon cheesecake (chefs kiss). Only slight criticisms would be the place gets so busy it can mean can't always eat in (shows how good the place is) and they're closed on a Monday which tends to be the day I work in the office so can't always nip in to the best deli in Leicestershire.

After a walk at Bradgate Park we chose to stop in here for brunch. We checked the menu outside and were surprised to find that the prices inside had been inflated quite considerably. Did they forget to change the menu outside? I think probably not. After waiting for a table we then sat down on a dirty table to order, waited half an hour for our food, which then came out lukewarm at best and really quite underwhelming. £70 for 3 breakfasts, 3 drinks and pancakes is certainly steep I'd say, but when it is such poor quality I'm not sure how this place gets the reviews it does.
