The best restaurants serving British food in Worksop North West Bassetlaw East Midlands

We are so very lucky to have the Retreat on The Row in our village. The food is excellent, 5* +, each dish is an adventure for your taste buds and the portions are more than generous. We had a really memorable evening and can’t wait to repeat it. Thank you Ricky, not forgetting Janine and Stuart for making us so very welcome.

Couple mates great food , quick service, good value for money would 100% recommend if you are around the area , lots of different options

Wife had Vegan breakfast and oat milk latte and I had Mega breakfast with black coffee, both excellent, everything spotless with tables quickly cleared and little delay waiting and very well run by the very hard working guy at front and young girl on coffee machine!

my partner and I visited for brunch, we both had eggs Florentine, he had a coffee, I had a tea and a water. it was a little pricey at 27 pounds, but the food was delicious, the eggs were cooked perfectly.

Ordered a Sunday chicken dinner to collect. Food was ready in 30 mins and was very good for the price! Would highly recommend

Once in the garden centre you need a map to find the cafe,its supposed to be a Restaurant lol.Very cold place once inside,i asked for the Carvery,as it was lunchtime Sunday, and was told ,we dont do Sunday lunches,theres no call fo them! Bearing in mind my wife and i were part of a team of 6,about £90 in my estimation.Suggest you visit a pennels garden centre,oh and put the restaurant just thru the main door,a game changer.

We came here for a carvery meal which was good except for the amount of meat we were given which was tiny, half a slice of turkey and half a slice of beef, we had expected a bit more. We went to order a dessert but had run out of our choices so we didn't bother.

It's convenient to stop off here when travelling between Sheffield and Lincolnshire. Food is okay, and it's quick and close to the bypass.

My daughter and I were travelling down the A1 and honestly couldn't face the dreadful food served in the motorway service stations so thought we'd Google somewhere just off the main road. I'm so pleased we made the short 2-3 mile diversion to go to.Clumber Park. Lovely place - the cafe had great views over the lake, and we had a healthy baked potato and salad served with a nice cup of tea in a China cup rather than plastic beaker. The staff were really.pleasant and friendly, food nutritious and the views excellent. Tiny bit on the pricey side but worth the trip.down the tree-lined avenue and not a greasy burger in site!
