Visited tim hortons in portadown couple mornings and staff were busy cleaning but went in one evening and place was defo not up to scratch please please can you keep cafe tidy and presentable

Extremely disappointed with our visit to Gail’s in Southfields , staff were pleasant but didn’t seem concerned with customer care, lacked basic service needs , and probably would benefit from communication training . Food amazing but uncaring staff 🙁🙁🙁

I have read and heard mixed things about this place so thought I’d try it for myself. It’s been nearly 8 years since I visited this place but WOW what a difference. Newly refurbished in 2024 new management and if I’m honest new pub. Gone are the sleazy look’s dodgy deals and scary atmosphere. I’ve now been in several times since Christmas 2024 and always a warm welcome from the staff. Maria & Kirsty the new management have turned this place around 100% it’s now a well run safe place to go. No food but they don’t mind you having your own with one of their drinks of course. It feels like a traditional family pub should be. I was in last week and met Maria for the first time what a sweet landlady she is no nonsense take her as you find. She was working with her father-in-law and he made us so welcome a great asset to this place nice to see a family working together. I have seen the place very quiet and very busy the staff are always polite yet firm with impatient customers. Lots of students and of course locals a real mix of Exeter people. Great to see they have free pool on a Wednesday , a student discount every day and karaoke on Sunday. one night I heard the Landlady sing she was brilliant. I love watching how much the staff interact with each other and customers it’s nice to see customers shout the staff by name when they start and end a shift. All I can say is keep it up I’ll be back more often from now on. Thank you James

How to turn a goldmine into an average fish and chips shop. Had our normal two weekly visit to Fish Face Eynesbury this evening. Only to find out that the previous owners had sold the business onto different people. They had one recognisable member of the old staff on duty but boy, what a disappointment. Never in the 3 years that I have lived here and used Fish face had I ever had a bone in my Cod. Never ever have I had soggy batter on either my fish or my Cod Roe. I give these new owners 6 months to completely destroy an absolute gold mine. What a shame and a joke that these new owners have not taken on board the previous owners strategy and methods.

Traté de almorzar aquí con un amigo. Me dijeron a la 1: 30 pm que la cocina estaba cerrada a órdenes por el momento debido a la alta demanda (era el día de la media maratón de Royal Parks) pero que volvería a abrir a las 2 pm. Cuando regresé en ese momento, el gerente fue increíblemente grosero y me dijo que aún no estaban aceptando órdenes. Entiendo que estaban ocupados, pero yo estaba muy descontento con la actitud. Me hicieron sentir que no era razonable pedir pedir comida. En un pub. A la hora del almuerzo. El resto del personal estaba bien, pero la gerente realmente estaba decepcionando con sus habilidades de servicio al cliente

Lovely bakery, I got a steak pie and a breakfast sandwich and they were both delicious, I know when I go back home I’ll be thinking about that sandwich lol, would highly recommend😊

Staff are always lovely and the coffee is of a consistent standard whenever I go. This is my local coffee shop so I go regularly and have never had anything but good service

We stopped here for breakfast on the way to an event. To call this place “The hood breakfast” should be a crime under the trade description act! It’s the worst breakfast I’ve had in 53 years of my life! It should have been telling the way the server was throwing together the previous persons breakfast bap, dry bun being manhandled with no care at all that someone has to eat it. We ordered 2 x veggie breakfast with toast and tea.. £28 for what can only be described as inedible rubbish..I would have thrown it back but would have been arrested for assault with a deadly weapon if the hash browns had hit anyone, they were harder than a house brick. This place should be ashamed to provide such awful food at extortionate prices

El desayuno estaba bien y cocinados a la orden. Había mucha variedad en cereales y frutas y zumos de frutas antes de la señora tomó el pedido completo para inglés

Alojarnos en el hotel, que está bastante alejado del centro de Oxford, y después de un largo viaje para que todos lleguen aquí y una preparación intensa para mañana, no teníamos ganas de volver a tomar un taxi para ir al centro de la ciudad. Las críticas en Tripadvisor no fueron geniales, seamos honestos, pero pensamos que lo probaríamos. Muy gratamente sorprendido La comida era buena y se entregó con bastante rapidez (al contrario de las críticas anteriores). Disfruté mi comida. No es el mejor que he comido, pero bien preparado y presentado, y muy sabroso.

Our table was in the bar area but situated near the entrance so kept getting a draft on me. We had to order from the bar and pay before we had the food. Was not very comfortable in the chair. When the food came it had the gravy already on it we might not like gravy was not given the choice. The knife I had was bent pretty useless for trying to cut the meat. I will say the food was lovely and very tasty. Not one of the servers bothered to see if everything was OK with us as usually happens when out for Sunday lunch. I would have like to have had the chicken but it was basically half a chicken and I did not want to spend ages getting the meat off. Great chef

I waited for 15-20 mins for inedible thick bread. I just ordered toast because it takes them ages to bring any food out. And they did it again even with toast. How? Plus Id need a horse mouth to even bite that bread they served me. I left it. Didn’t even get given jam or honey, just wrapped up butter. Been here a few times now and it’s never busy but always takes soooo long to get any food. I’ve had eggs Benedict before which were good enough I guess. I do think this cafe is overpriced though. A pot of tea & “toast” cost me just under £7. I ended up going to Tesco cafe were I got a full English breakfast for under £6 and in half the time. By the way, I told the waitress I’m leaving the toast because it’s rock solid and ridiculous. She said “oh sorry” but didn’t offer me a refund or to get me something else. So not great at resolving complaints there.

The food is standard McDonald's and great value for me money. The person that served me was so friendly and nice.
