Roadhouse in Craigavon

Visited tim hortons in portadown couple mornings and staff were busy cleaning but went in one evening and place was defo not up to scratch please please can you keep cafe tidy and presentable

Was very disappointed tonight with the food at the roadhouse chippy! The portions are huge and it was a decent sized meal for the price. The cheese chip was lovely however the beef burger was disgusting. It was undercooked the outside was the only part cooked! Once bit inside the meat was proper red and undercooked! For a pregnant women this is just unacceptable and I hope for thier sake my unborn child is okay after having eaten part of it! Pure rotten avoid if possible or if so make sure u ask for ur burgers well done if u dnt want them coming out half cooked!

I go here with my dad often as it is our favourite burger place, the burgers are so good and yea they are pricy but they're worth it, there usually is a 15 minute wait but thats fine, it's probably for good reason. 5/5 would eat again.

Discovered this place recently and love their pizza. Delicious and very reasonably priced, especially with their offers. Can’t comment on anything else on the menu but it is our go-to for pizza now!

Having heard many comments, decided to call in. Order was taken then given a bleeper to allow others to enter the shop. Bleeper went and food collected. Overall the food was tasty burger described as char grilled. Streaky bacon was tasty and added to the burger.

Best takeaway in Portadown, hands down! Fresh food, great portions and really friendly staff! Extensive menu and really delicious.

I have heard the horror stories about the wait times for this establishment which made me hesitant to try it out but after a long walk around craigavon Lakes myself and a friend decided to stop off for a late lunch at 3pm. We called as we were half way done with our walk and placed our orders by phone. We were told it would be ready in twenty minutes and so we finished our walk and jumped in the car to collect. We had to wait an extra ten minutes for our food to be ready which was acceptable enough. The chips were dead on, could have done with a minute or two longer to be perfect but were fluffy and not soggy. The portion size was HUGE. I ordered a large chip, not realizing this establishment does small, medium and large chips. The large therefore is massive. I was stuffed. The cheeseburger was delicious even if the beef patty is a bit thin. The meat tasted good however and the bap was a really soft and tasty bun unlike the usual chippy versions I have had elsewhere. The Chicken fillet burger was massive too and was very enjoyed by my friend who said it tasted very frsh and succulent. Her gravy chip was very dark but she loves that style of gravy so she was well pleased. All around a very pleasant experience.

Food is fantastic and very low in fat and their burger challenge is one to try. They also do fantastic pizza all fresh ingredients used for everything

The food is great, can't fault it for taste but not sure about using the app. Ordered a chicken fillet lunch time special (very tasty btw) a couple of weeks ago and had selected pineapple slice as one of the toppings but it didn't have one on it. Thought maybe a oversight but ordered a Phatt B burger and I think I only got a Wee Git (which is £3 cheaper) as it only had 1 onion ring and 1 patty which looked like an 8oz patty (meant to be a 16oz burger) - it was Christmas Eve and they were crazy busy but that was disappointing as I had hoped it wasn't just the turkey that was going to be stuffed.

Ordered an £11 meal online at 1719, I waited 25 mins nearby at home, drove to collect it, to be told it would be another 30mins still. Order finally ready at 1855 Not impressed. Very unprofessional waiting times

Visited today and was shocked to be charged £3.75 for a gravy chip that was rather disgusting, will never be back everything was being deep fried, disgusting place, tip don’t go , threw most in the bin wouldn’t even let the dog eat these chips

Wanting a quick bite to eat we used Roadhouse because we’d had a couple of decent meals from here in the recent past, but how disappointed were we. I ordered a chicken fillet burger which I have to say was quite horrible. The chicken was fine......once I was able to get through the batter, which I could’ve used to put someone’s front window through it was that crisp and hard, nearly breaking my teeth in the process! My partner had a portion of gougons which I’d have to say I’ve saw bigger fingers on a child to be honest, must be downsizing for some reason. Safe to say we won’t be back near what would be our local chippy, definitely do not try if you value your health.

As an older person the treatment I received was horrible, it took a bit of time for me to catch on what had happened. First of all I was waiting to to place my order when the owner served the person behind me. When he realised what had happened he apologised. I placed my order for a fish supper when his friend came in about 5 minutes later and ordered a fish supper also . The orders are served numerically so I should have got my fish supper first instead he gave his friend the fish supper and I had to wait another 10 minutes on mine , when I asked about the number I had he said it got mixed up . To say the least it was a blatant case of favouritism and maybe he thinks older people don’t matter . We will not use this chippy again and most of my family and friends are thinking the same .
