The best restaurants serving Asian food in Aberdeen City North East Scotland

The thai van - bit of an institution in Dyce. We called late morning to order and pick up at lunchtime but the massaman curry specials and all noodles were sold. Looks like they’re open from 9am so earlier you phone the better must be. The beef in black bean sauce and satay chicken were both really tasty with good quality meat. The lady is really friendly, knows her returning customers and runs a slick service, prices not bad.

Fantastic restaurant. Maybe the best chicken jalfrezi I’ve ever had….

La primera vez que vuelvo después del covid y este restaurante es tan bueno como siempre ha sido! Comida deliciosa y fresca, servicio genial. La comida es tan buena que regresé una segunda semana con un amigo diferente y no me decepcionó. El restaurante es muy pequeño - reserve con antelación para garantizar una mesa. La decoración es un poco anticuada, pero la calidad de la comida lo compensa con creces!

Been there time ago and didn't seem anything outstanding, decided to give another try and order to take away. The quality was even worst than before and the price ridiculously high for the lousy food. The menu is very limited now and not showing prices thus you can get a nasty surprise afterwards. Ordered dumplings and came with 4 little bites at 9.50 quid (???) Fried rice and fried noodles are anything but thai, Chinese perhaps, bland, overcooked and unsavoury, absolutely rubbish. Ordered 2 curries and were even worst, unsalted with a sniff of curry, the king prawns with 5 units at 16.95 absolute steal, yhe chicken one was the same story, tasteless, dull, boring. I hardly doubt they even have a thai chef as he will be ashamed to serve that pathetic food. Price is utterly ridiculous for the portions, better to jump on the neighbour Chinese take way at least they dont cheat.

4 pieces of chicken in the korma. Absolute joke. Rude staff and owners are greedy horrible people. Avoid and go to any other restaurant that is better

Don’t have takeout curry often but Gurkha has always been my go to. Had my usual Pokhara masala which used to be the best curry I ever tasted but tonight it had the spice but flavour was very bland. Lemon rice was also bland and stodgy and onion baji’s flavourless. Appreciated the free poppadoms, spiced onions and dips but the starter and main was no better than a supermarket microwave curry. I was disappointed tonight unfortunately.

Katsu curry was the best I’ve had! Good atmosphere and lovely staff

Recogido 2 callejeros descarriados (sobrina y sobrino). La comida aquí es de muy buena calidad, y había una variedad increíble, y todo fue cocinado a un alto nivel. Es extremadamente bien de precio, pero el precio varía, por lo que sugeriría reservar una mesa. Sin duda volvería de nuevo.

There really isn't much to eat in Aberdeen... It's hard to imagine how the children who go to school here survive... There are several whiskey bars next to this shop, and after a few drinks, a group of us decided to come here to warm our stomachs. The bottom of the pot is pretty good and all the necessary spices are included. The taste of the curry is also average. I am quite satisfied to be able to eat vegetables like this in the UK. It is said that this is Thailand, a small gathering place for Southeast Asians in Aberdeen. There were several tables of Southeast Asians when we were eating that day, and everyone's stomachs needed to be healed...

I have been to this Wagamama’s heaps of times now, and I always receive great food, excellent customer service, as well as speedy food wait times. Would definitely recommend Wagamama Aberdeen to a friend.

Unfortunately the vegetable spring rolls were soggy and inedible, the aromatic duck came with 4 small pieces of cucumber and the majority was skin and fat and again mostly inedible. Overall the order sadly was not worth £55.
