4 pieces of chicken in the korma. Absolute joke. Rude staff and owners are greedy horrible people. Avoid and go to any other restaurant that is better

We booked this on a whim as we wanted somewhere open a bit later, it’s a little difficult to find but it was so worth it! Everyone in the party (9 people) said it was the best curry they had ever had. It’s very traditional, lots of choice but some am amazing specials. The staff were very attentive, the portion sizes were huge and the food was excellent. Full of flavour, the right level of spice. And the waiters were divert good at suggesting different dishes, one item was unavailable and they were very accommodating. Would 100% recommend visiting.

Deeply disappointed by excessive use of salt meal was totally destroyed by this staff did nothing to address this matter

Food took ages to be delivered and once it arrived the order was incomplete. The rest of the order arrived 4% mins later after we had finished the meal. No apology , refund from the restaurant. Very poor customer focus. First and last time we have used this restaurant

Ordered a takeaway meal and got confirmation that it would be delivered within the hour. This did not happen and when I phoned they said they would have to check with their Belmont Street restaurant and phone me back. This didn't happen and I had to phone again and was told there was a technical issue with the order. Tried to cancel the order and this wasn't allowed unless I placed another order !! Food eventually arrived after two and a half hours. Starters were over cooked and were unedible. The onion bhaji's were the worst I'd ever seen , over fried and just disgusting. The curries were a bit too sweet and nothing special. Overall I just got the impression everything had been rushed to get the order out and it was a complete fail. Delivery driver advised the person receiving the order at Bridge of Don hadn't submitted it for preparation so clearly the 'technical' problem was staff. Poor food and poor service. Not worth the money and they've lost a customer as there is plenty of competition who would not have treated a customer this way.

Ordered a take away (home delivery). Very disappointing. Food took over 1.5 hours to arrive (we ordered at 5), food was cold, order was wrong, portion size not worth the money and very expensive for what we ordered. The family was a fan of the restaurant in the past but after Saturday nights meal, we will not be ordering again.

I’ve dined in before and it’s been lovely! We ordered tonight at 6:45 and first problem was they only did delivery and it would be an hour, okay sure. Next thing was the card machine wasn’t working but we only had £60 on us so they kindly said we would give them what we could and we appreciated that even though it was still pricey. We waited almost 2 1/2 hours before our food arrived, no one phoned us to tell us it would be late so I phoned multiple times and was told he was “just round the corner” then was waiting another half an hour. When I phoned again I said I wasn’t happy paying £60 for something I’d waited 2 and a half hours for and I was told “well we’ve already taken £10 off and it’s going to be amazing food”. I should’ve just told him to not deliver it. My food was good I had a korma, but their chips were in a polystyrene container so they were soggy, the peshwari naan tasted lovely but the coconut spilled everywhere, mums food was too hot to eat, the onion Bhajis were really good. All in all, I’d say sit in if you want from here as the food is good but the delivery time and phone service is shocking.

My husband loves the restaurant so we opted for a Friday night lockdown takeaway. We ordered online at 17.05. Didn’t receive order confirmation so we called. Problem with computer they said. At 18.55 we called again and was told food was en route. Our order arrived at 19.15. Order was all wrong. Main dish missing and extra naans we hadn’t asked for. We called again and explained. Missing main dish was delivered at 20.00. Food was average to the point of being disappointing and we were honestly past eating by the time it was all sorted. Not sure if we’d order again.

We used to eat at Shri Bheemas all the time but covid put a stop to that when a lot of places had to close, we tried a few other Indian take aways in Aberdeen but after we had finished we always said “It wasn’t as good as Shri Bheemas” so Yesterday we decided to order a delivery. Food was a little slow in arriving, waited 1 hour 20 minutes but I did phone just to check and they explained they were cooking from Belmont due to the pandemic and that was absolutely fine. The food arrived nice and hot, for Starters we went for something different and took a Masala Dosa which was very nice, full of flavour and the sambar and dips with it were all so tasty that it was already off to an amazing start, we then ordered a Lamb Rogan Josh and a Chicken Patia, both curries were spiced perfectly, tasted so amazing. Bursts of flavour in every mouthful and it truly is the nicest Indian food. To accompany them we ordered a pilau rice, butter naan and chapati. Both the naan and chapati tasted great to mop up the juices. We ofcourse have plenty left over to heat up for today which I’m absolutely looking forward too! If I had to say one thing to critique it would be that the rogan josh had a small lair of oil at the top but, that’s to be expected and a quick stir before serving is all it needed. So all in all well worth the wait, food is absolutely amazing, service when I phoned was friendly and helpful, portions are decent, plenty meat in the curries and for the price it was very reasonable and not actually dearer than other places we have ordered from. So highly recommended!

Order the takeaway food when I meet my friends in Aberdeen. Price is cheap but service is not well. They have lovely photos on google search but when I get my food it was not same like photo and it was just tasted.

Joined a good friend for lunch. First time I've eaten in restaurant but have had a takeaway before. Arrived right a start of lunchtime and restaurant was quiet but boy did it fill up. Saj the waiter gave us the lunchtime menu which had 2 options, plenty of choice for lunchtime, however you can if you wish also eat off the main menu if nothing takes your fancy. He was very accommodating. I was unsure what I fancied for lunch so gave him an idea of the heat I like. Little bit sweet but with a slight kick. He told me to leave it with him and he would ask chef to prepare me something, which was not on lunch menu. Drinks & poppadoms & sauces to start whilst we waited for our starters, which arrived promptly. They were fab. Then on to the main my dish arrived with rice, which was very light & fluffy, along with garlic nan. Boy did it not disappoint it was absolutely delicious and was exactly what I asked for. Really great portion size and more than enough for a lunch, in fact I struggled to finish it off but it was so so nice. Finished off with a coffee. Would highly recommend dropping in past for meal. Little gem of a place in Bridge of Don will definitely be back for sure!!

Food was really good and incredibly cheap. £5 for a main course with rice or nan bread. Add a starter for £2.99. Possibly the best onion bhaji I've had, and the nan bread was amazing. A really small lunch menu, but still good choice for vegetarians.

My frequent visits were more likely in 2018 still the great memories remain. I really loved the service and food. Twice a week I would visit the place still for me there was a lot of variety in choice. Ample free parking! I can strongly recommend the Shri Bheemas.

I went a few times and the food is always really good! But to be served by Saj is the highlight! He is funny, efficient and knows how to make a client happy! Yesterday we went with my family, a group of 9 people and I had in mind exactly what to order! By my mistake I ordered another dish without knowing I messed up. I was disappointed with myself I ordered something I didn’t want, but I ate anyway! Saj noticed I wasn’t very happy and in the end of our dinner he suprised me with a freshed cooked dish I was suposed order in first place for me to take home! What a lovely gesture! I strongly reccomend Shri Bheemas! But make sure you go to SHRI BHEEMAS AT BRIDGE of DON to have the pleasure to meet Mr. Saj! He himself is worth the visit to the restaurant! A must go Indian in Aberdeen! Genuine Indian food, not ones to pretend to be!

Just been back to Bheema’s for their buffet lunch and as always, the food was excellent - plenty of variety of flavours from the lovely starters and main courses, something there for everyone’s taste. Although it was really busy, the waiter was excellent and we couldn’t fault the service from getting a table, to bringing our drinks then getting the bill, he was very pleasant and attentive. Highly recommend and we’re already looking forward to our next visit.

My brother and I love Indian food so we booked a meal here and really enjoyed it. The restaurant was lovely, the staff were very attentive and polite. The food was excellent. We will definitely return.

Overpriced. £6 for egg rice. £4 for steamed rice! Very small portions. £30 later we’re off to McDonalds as we’re still very hungry!

Working in the city I arrived at 5pm alone to an empty restaurant .... sat at the first table just past the bar area and given a menu to look at .... took 20 mins to take my order .... took a further 20 for my starter to arrive .... then a further 20 to take away my empty plate ...... in between this time 2 further tables had arrived and had been served far more efficiently and quicker than me.

Staff were very friendly and service was great. The food tasted really good. I requested for the house special to be made for me. And it was perfect Tandoori chicken. Ambience was great and venue had plenty parking.

The food, the staff and everything about Shri Bheema’s ticks all the boxes. From the poppadoms and mango chutney to the starters, main courses and desserts you couldn’t ask for more! Highly recommend Saj and his amazing staff! What a brilliant night!

Great food, great service and a wonderful ambience for my grandson’s eighteenth! Saj looked after us, as always. The whole staff went out of their way to make the evening memorable from the popadoms to the dessert!

We ate the vegetarian thali and the meat thali and both were excellent with a good selection of dishes. Nicely spiced and served with good bread and rice. Tasty food and very good value. Recommended.

Very friendly staff and varied menu, all the dishes were well cooked and a good size. Very popular so you may want to be safe and book. Drinks were well priced and about £50 for a complete meal for 2.

Absolutely delicious, portions are huge. Restaurant itself was a little dated and from the appearance outside I was a little reluctant to go in, but so glad I did. A little on the expensive side but you get what you pay for so they say and the quality of food was definitely deserving of the price paid. If I’m ever in the area again I will definitely be back.

Food was as of a high standard despite restaurant being very quiet. The menu is extensive, the staff were very friendly but not so attentive that you felt uncomfortable. A very enjoyable Thursday night.

Didn’t know what to expect when we eventually found it , but was absolutely 1st class food . We travelled 42 miles to try this and we weren’t disappointed in the least , would be great to have a restaurant like this on our door step .We had an itison voucher and added extras to what the voucher had on it .

Shri Bheemas is up market indian food for people who love indian food. If you haven't tried it you're missing out. The quality is very good.

I hadn't been here for a while and had forgotten how good the food is...the presentation, particularly of the starters is excellent...it looks delicious and it is delicious. We had a variety of chicken starters and mains and the meat was very succulent. One of the mains tasted a bit sweet but that is probably just a personal preference. Service is friendly and attentive without being overbearing. I'm giving it 5 stars because the food deserves it.

Went with a pal for the buffet lunch. The food was amazing, decent range on offer and the service was amazing. I love this place!

Couldn’t really fault the food, we all cleared our plates, extremely tasty. Portion size were probably about right and wasn’t left feeling uncomfortable like some Indians! Staff were very efficient and welcoming. Great parking outside which is also a bonus compared to town so you get right to the door. Only downsize was it was cold in restaurant, I would definitely go again I,d just wear a jumper!

Came with an Itison lunch voucher. The room is cold to sit in, cold plates and all the food was lukewarm and nan bread was cold. Although the voucher was not a lot of money I would not come back.

Went in today for a quick lunch. Ended up being in for a lot longer. Saj the manager is an absolute delight. Our food was amazing, my onion bhajis were amazing. Lovely light crispy batter. Then delicious curries with the best naan bread ever, then had pudding, don't know what it's called but it was carrot coloured, could have eaten a bucket full of it. Can't wait to go back.

Food is fantastic, very little atmosphere as few people in restaurant. Bought a voucher for 2 starters a 2 mains with a rice to share and guess what, the living social people have made a mistake, and it’s only a starter to share and a lecture about how Bridge if don restaurant shouldn’t be part of the deal as it’s the flag shop restaurant bla bla bla! Just give up what us stated on the voucher! It’s always a pity when the owners aren’t happy to welcome customers back when they have a voucher and try to change the offer. Told us it’s been a month and half since we were there but I can tell you it will be a lot longer until I go back which is a pity as the food is lovely!!

Visited with my husband after many takeaways being delivered this was the first time visiting the restaurant. I got a wowcher deal at Christmas time for a 5 course buffet lunch so thought we would give it a go as good value.

When they opened it was the best restaurant with the best staff.The food was amazing. I went with a friend to the buffet opposed to going for an evening meal recently. All the food was cold and I said I would pay for my plateful even though I was not willing to eat it.They offered to heat it up. It Was an hour into their buffet so not near closing. Absolutely would not go again which is really sad as I spent so long telling so many people how amazing this place was. They clearly want to feed people, but do not care about the quality. I would never serve cold food to anyone.

I visited with a colleague for the two course business lunch. The restaurant is a little off the beaten track, but well worth the journey.

The service is amazing, food beyond fantastic and the menu is huge. We went for dinner with friends this evening and were not disappointed. It was our first visit at dinner time but we will definitely be back. The kids shared a korma, adults had the vegetarian mixed platter to start -wow. Seriously incredible cauliflower, paneer and pakora options. Main meals were all fantastic and we were offered to alter spice levels if we’d like.

We went a year or so back and was bitterly disappointed, but noted that this was highly reviewed and felt we must of just been on the wrong night, so plucked up the courage to retry it, and very happy we did. Discovered this restaurant online and started ordering for delivery but every time the quality and taste of food has just gotten worse. The first few times, food came to the door fresh and delicious. The last time my naan was very thick, the lamb curry was average and biryani was bland. The food from Belmont branch is always upto the mark, which is interesting as the food should be of the same calibre

Welcome was great, service excellent and the food was amazing. We all had a great meal, and the kids were spoilt with ice cream after their butter chicken.

Buon ristorante indiano, il cibo ci è piaciuto molto ma sinceramente le quantità sono davvero eccessive... Troppo abbondanti le porzioni, non si riesce a finire un piatto.... E perché lo dica io ce ne vuole. Il menù è composto da un centinaio di piatti diversi... Il cliente si trova davvero spaesato, servizio poco professionale e sbrigativo, rischi che ti portino via il piatto mentre sei girato, situato al secondo piano di una "casa" come molti indiani arredamento pacchiano. Conto nella media per il tipo di locale e per il cibo. Ottimo davvero l'agnello biryani.

After moving to Falkirk for 2 years, the whole family were delighted to move home to Aberdeen.

We went the night after a wedding and found this place via google. The main restaurant is off the street, up some stairs and through another at the time emptier part of the restaurant, so we were a bit suspicious until invited by a member of staff to come through. Once seated, the atmosphere was good and there were lots of other people enjoying meals.

Visited for our anniversary and it was lovely. Could not fault anything. The service and food was great. For a restaurant on our doorstep that we’ve never visited before I can certainly say we will definitely return. Thank you.

Buffet? Really? Normally i avoid them but the one here is excellent. There are a few south indian starters (idli, dosa.. ) then a few novel vegetarian dishes (i had a kidney bean curry with chickpeas). There are also a few meat dishes. When we were there it was packed with south indian customers. The cost is around 13 a head for the buffet and so super value for money.

The restaurant does a 2 course lunch menu which offers fantastic quality food at a great price.

Went there for supper, it may not look much from the street but the the staff were very helpfully, the starters when thay came were beautifully laid out and also tasted grate. The main corse did not let the restaurant down with the smell and aromatic flavours.

Had a nice takeaway (chicken tikka masala and lamb kadai) that I was really looking forward to. I live in Dubai but was back visiting Aberdeen and had a hankering for a Shri Bheema's. They sent me onion bhajis instead of onion pakoras which I can live with but I was really annoyed by the soft/stale poppadoms that I paid for. It's a small thing to get wrong but it's a simple thing to get right.....it was a let down given that the rest of the meal was very nice. Don't send stale poppadoms!!!

Recently went for the dinner but food was quite tasteless. Curry's didn't really had that texture and taste as expected. Naan were bit uncooked too. Felt disappointed as it used to be reasonably good restaurant. Belmont street one appears to be better than this one.

Been for dinner tonight and I swear the food gets better every time we come here. I went for a 3 chilli Masala dish and it was fragrant with a very tasty gravy. It was my limit on the chilli front though.

The restaurant is never too busy, the service is great and the food is excellent! Our family eats there quite often and they have Good sized portions. It was the first place in Aberdeen we took our family to eat who were visiting from Colombia. They loved it also.

I had friends visiting from Mexico who wanted to go for an Indian meal so we opted for Shri Beemas. I hadn’t been to this one in BOD but had a spree voucher so thought we would give it a try. The service was very good and the servers were great with my 3yo daughter.

Came highly recommended.. tucked away.. but worth finding... what a fabulous meal.. beware the portions... huge... great customer service.. we will be back..thank you guys

I often go for lunch, the service is quick and the food is the best I have tasted. With the groupon deals available on a monthly basis this is a must try, you won't be disappointed.

I returned for the buffet in Bridge of Don Restaurant after 2 years and I found that the food quality has declined. In the past, there were 4 veg dishes, now it's only 2. The food was cooked well, however, we felt that too much oil was used and slightly too spicy (chili). What happened to DOSA? We were not offered this time around. Idli was there but Samber was not. Apart from that, nice atmosphere and good customer service. The toilets could do a little more cleanliness.

This must be one of the best quality and certainly the best value lunches in Aberdeen (look out for the groupon deal).

The most delicious Indian food I have ever tasted. The spices were so fragrant and delicate. The staff was friendly and efficient.

Nice surroundings, Chicken Tikka Byrianni, was too spicy, my wife enjoyed the Chicken Tikka Masala, the prices charged were way to high, a Nan bread at £4.99 extortionate, £ 4 for two cans of iron bru expensive overall quite expensive, won't be back.

If you really like Delicious Indian Food near to Aberdeen , without any doubt go for this wonderful restaurant. You won't be disappointed at all if you are trying this restaurant for the very first time. Truly the Best and King among st all other Indian restaurants in Scotland. I think it was unanimous with all there on the night it was the nicest Indian meal we have ever had the pleasure of having. The food was absolutely beautiful and far more varied a selection than I have seen before. Couple that with the very Charismatic and Entertaining Manager/Host and it is not a meal I will forget in a hurry. The only downside is that the restaurant is 230 miles from my house never the less we will definitely return next time we are in Aberdeen. Amazing place, Can't wait to go back.

We went as a small group for a mid-week lunch as we knew there were some specials available. The challenge was to find it as, although it is signed from Balgownie Road, it is easy to misled into (wrongly) entering the new housing estate because the actual street t is on looks like a dead end. Trust yourself and turn at the end an you'll see the restaurant tagged onto the side of a pub which is clearly popular with tradesmen.

Having lived in the city of Aberdeen for 10 years there is only one Indian restaurant that stands out in my mind and that is Shri Bheemas in Bridge of Don.

Went for Sunday lunchtime buffet with my husband. The food was excellent, loads to eat and all excellent quality. Service was good. So we can't wait to visit this restaurant again.
