The best restaurants serving Asian food in Aberdeen City North East Scotland

The thai van - bit of an institution in Dyce. We called late morning to order and pick up at lunchtime but the massaman curry specials and all noodles were sold. Looks like they’re open from 9am so earlier you phone the better must be. The beef in black bean sauce and satay chicken were both really tasty with good quality meat. The lady is really friendly, knows her returning customers and runs a slick service, prices not bad.

I am a tourist from Hong Kong. My family love the food so much! The steak, chicken and noodles are all so nice! It is important to have hot food in cold night! Besides, the staff is so kind and friendly. Thank you so much! It is one of the best meal in our trip.

4 pieces of chicken in the korma. Absolute joke. Rude staff and owners are greedy horrible people. Avoid and go to any other restaurant that is better

Don’t have takeout curry often but Gurkha has always been my go to. Had my usual Pokhara masala which used to be the best curry I ever tasted but tonight it had the spice but flavour was very bland. Lemon rice was also bland and stodgy and onion baji’s flavourless. Appreciated the free poppadoms, spiced onions and dips but the starter and main was no better than a supermarket microwave curry. I was disappointed tonight unfortunately.

This place has pretty nice food. The staff are very kind and understanding as well. Normally, when going to these kinds of places, the 'super spicy' food is pretty underwhelming. But I think the amount of spices that is added to their dishes are just enough to be as delicious as they can be whilst still being tolerable for a large amount of people.

Not great, no security on your belongings, staff and customers keep waliking back and forth. A drunk Scotman commented to me when I drop my coins from my jacket I got distracted never found my missing wallet. I wont recommend and go back there again.

There really isn’t much to eat in Aberdeen… It’s hard to imagine how the children who go to school here survive… There are several whiskey bars next to this shop, and after a few drinks, a group of us decided to come here to warm our stomachs. The bottom of the pot is pretty good and all the necessary spices are included. The taste of the curry is also average. I am quite satisfied to be able to eat vegetables like this in the UK. It is said that this is Thailand, a small gathering place for Southeast Asians in Aberdeen. There were several tables of Southeast Asians when we were eating that day, and everyone's stomachs needed to be healed...

I have been to this Wagamama’s heaps of times now, and I always receive great food, excellent customer service, as well as speedy food wait times. Would definitely recommend Wagamama Aberdeen to a friend.
