The best restaurants serving Asian food in Glasgow and Surrounding

found this by accident, it is now called Crisp and Spicy AND IT IS GREAT. used to be Bombay palace in south bridge st. the food was excellent. chicken pakora to die for, spiced pears as a starter, you,re having a laugh but no they were wonderful. lamb bhoona was melt in the mouth fab. a lunchtime buffet which is on all week in Airdrie .

You will get good dosa here if you are craving for some South Indian flavour. Staff were nice and good music too. Reasonable price.

Summary: Nothing like Japanese food. Avoid. This was one of the worst attempts at Japanese food I've ever eaten. Everything you love about the cuisine was missing or wrong. The soup broths were bland to a fault - clear, but with no depth of flavour whatsoever. No umami. They weren't even seasoned. We ended up asking for soy sauce in an attempt to make it palatable. The noodles were cheap, flavourless and utterly without bounce. The Katsu-don was literally a schnitzel, and not a great one. (I love schnitzel in other contexts, of course, but not here). The Agedashi Tofu was definitively the worst I've ever eaten. The chefs definitely cheaped out by using medium tofu instead of extra smooth, so the texture was all wrong. As the tofu had not been prepared or flavoured properly, it tasted revolting. I'll tell you what kind of place this is: you know its bad before you've even sat down (it smells very strongly of old grease by the entrance), but you're hungry, so you sit anyway, but there's something about it that makes you think: I'm not going to buy drinks here. So you're there, drinking your tap water, poking around this dishwater with overcooked noodles in it and you can't wait to leave. Fortunately the staff were completely disinterested in us, otherwise I'd have had to say something or make some kind of complaint, which would have made the whole thing even more depressing. Somehow, it feels racist to insinuate that this outfit are serving Japanese food. Who are these charlatans?

The parent company, Hell yeah hospitality is a sham of a company. Asked for a refund on a voucher for a restaurant they closed, and they verbally agreed to give a refund. They then cancelled the voucher and have still not provided the refund. It is impossible to get hold of anyone and if you contact any of the restaurants they tell you they will speak to HQ, but HQ seems to be a one person sham.

The atmosphere was second to none the food had a party in my mouth I left feeling content in every way thank you will be back

Great food at a great price. The spring rolls and chicken curry were delicious!

I’ve been here on a date for food and drinks. The staff were really friendly and helpful. There is outside seating on a sunny day which we enjoyed. The food was really good and fairly priced. The drinks were very strong (we had a few different cocktails) but still very tasty, and very fairly priced. It is a super cosy vibe which was great for a date style atmosphere, they also had 90s indie type music playing which I really enjoyed. I would definitely go back here and highly recommend.

Great service from Steeven and the team, the food is always amazing the best Thai food i have tasted. we shared the pinto and a sharing platter and the quality and portion size was Phenomenal

Hard work from all the amazing team! Calm and pleasant manner shown at all times by the helpful waiting staff. This level of service was what is required for the work event. The food was outstanding and left many of our guests wanting more. The choice of area was excellent in terms of receiving our guests at the beginning of the evening and matched the desired ambience perfectly. Honestly, you took away any concerns we may have had in an instant, resulting in a smooth running evening. We hope to have further events here in the future! :)

love this place, recently part hired it for about 50 family and friends for my Sons 30th Birthday. Its a Buffet Restaurent which has a great choice of food, varied, Indian currys, starters, Chinese noodles, Pizzas, chips, chicken wings, ribs , and sweets with a chocolate fountain. Highly recommend here, the staff are so friendly, it is fantastic value for money.

Excellent food and service. Staff are friendly, polite efficient. There are no long waiting times between being seated, ordering and being served. There is also no sense of being rushed here. It's not expensive. The portions are an appropriate size, so you don't feel too full of leave hungry. It's popular for people of all ages. There's usually been a family or two when I visited. A good choice for a special meal, or just a catch up. I've visited several times, and still find things I want to try, as well as having favourite dishes to return to.

The staff are unbelievably disrespectful. Went in with family to get a meal and the staff immediately started giving us bad looks and laughing at us. I felt like there was a racist attitude towards us and we're Pakistani. I don't understand and i doubt I'll ever be back here. My family has used this place since it opened and even know the owner's but that's the final straw guys. thx for the memories. Good luck staying in business
