You will get good dosa here if you are craving for some South Indian flavour. Staff were nice and good music too. Reasonable price.

This is a southern Indian restaurant and the five star rating was earned by the masala dosa, which was wonderful, stuffed with potatoes and served with sambar, coconut chutney and tomato chutney. Get southern dishes here. They do northern as well, but the southern ones I had were better (the paratha was pretty heavy, the vegetable korma was spiced well, but the carrots, peas and corn in it looked a bit like a frozen veg mix). Also, southern dishes tend to have thinner gravies, so go better with rice - you'll be happier than if you get a northern bread like naan. Prices were reasonable, service was good. Go when you're in the mood for dosa or idlis.

Just awful. I ordered a takeaway. Nearly £6 for crispy wontons for a starter - I got four wontons! Nearly £12 for black bean tofu. It had four bits of tofu in it! It was also completely tasteless. I had requested it to be spicy, but my request was ignored. My total order, a meal for one person, came to nearly £40, and it was easily one of the worst takeaways I've ever had.

I have never reviewed a meal I have received as a take away before but the meal I just received and eat with my partner was really very good - thank you! Complexed, delicate, beautiful. A real inside into South Indian cooking.

I’ve been to Non-Viet’s first branch many times, so when I was in the West End, I decided to try their second location, NonViet Hai. I had the caramelized pork belly with egg fried rice, and it was a great choice. The pork belly was tender, and the rice went well with it. The Saigon beer was a good match for the meal, complementing the flavors of the food. My friend tried a cocktail here and I was easily impressed with the presentation. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the service was good. I’ll definitely be back.

As polite as friendly the servers were the service was abysmal!!!! It took forever for someone to take our order…even longer to bring one of our drinks…our starters did arrive 25 mins after our drinks….after an hour of waiting for our mains I managed to get hold of someone (who very politely told me a party of 17 had arrived) the mains arrived…I’d just managed to take a photo of the food when someone rushed over and apologised and explained that this food wasn’t ours 😳. When our food eventually arrived mine was cold…called someone over again said they’d get it sorted…apologised that I hadn’t had my soup or sushi ;or water that I’d asked for an hour ago)….had my soup and sushi….bento box arrived (really poor taste….yes I know it was probably the first one just heated up) 😓. Overall all…disappointed…won’t be rushing back (and they had the cheek to add on the service charge!!!!)
