Bar Soba in Glasgow City

This is a great hidden gem in the heart of Glasgow. Went here with some friends for dinner and drinks and we had a blast. Food was great, definitely going to come again. Great weekend vibe and really cool inside the bar. Music was great and it’s a lively place especially on weekends. Came on a whim and were treated well and had a great time, staff were so friendly and food came out so fast. Recommend the twister cocktail and my husband had a drumstick and even got a wee sweetie with it

Great welcome, great food, great service. Really enjoyed my first visit. Ordered two dishes from the Small Plates menu. The Cheeseburger Spring Rolls were excellent. Crispy then succulent inside. The Spicy Chicken is Satay style sauce was amazing. Delicious moist Chicken, runny sauce so tasty especially as there were no peanuts involved. Both dishes came with pickled salads. Coconu White Chocolate Creme Brulee for dessert. It was amazing and no cream used at all. Portions are large, prices very reasonable indeed.

I had my hen party at Bar Soba on Mitchell Lane and WHAT A NIGHT! All the staff were super friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. The cocktail classes were amazing and I just had the best night! Thank you so much for having us x

Visited on a Tuesday evening and was surprised how busy it was. The cocktails were delicious and had money off which is always nice .Had a twister can highly recommend . The food was very tasty and option size was generous .Would highly recommend trying Bar soba .

I went to Bar Soba in Mitchell Lane the other week for some cocktails and snacks. Their new menu has great variety and plenty of choices for vegans/veggies!! The peartini cocktail was my favourite. This spot is so cute for a wee date night. Highly recommend!!

Visited at the weekend to try the new cocktail & food menu! Wasn’t disappointed both looked and tasted amazing so we will be booking again soon. The music and atmosphere were great, easy to see why this place is so busy at the weekend!

Just had lunch in Bar Soba it was dreadful. Usually the foods very good but there was a noticeable difference today. Had the beef teriyaki noodles, had to send it back the beef was inedible it was that tough my knife could not cut it never mind chew it. My son’s chicken burger was also dry & tastless, the chips were luke warm & soggie. Utter disgrace then whn the bill came they never addressed my dish being sent back. Bad management as no one food checked & we left full plates of food so it was clear there had been an issue, will not be back. The service was also poor.

Booked for mothersday on sunday, Place was freezing doesnt help when you have an elderly woman of 84 with you and two 60 year olds, couple of orders mixed up, opted for the katsu curry, was dry and not done right, sauce was nice though... At the end a few of members opted to take some of the starters away to which there were no ''doggy bags'' i then had to go out and buy takeaway containers to give to the staff to sort out for us.

Visited for food and some drinks with friends. Food was nice and reasonable value, the green bean tempura fries were very nice. Service was okay, few issues but sorted once prompted. Would probably return.

Tucked away in Mitchell Lane Bar Soba is a hidden gem. The £7 lunch menu is superb value, but there is also an extensive choice available from the full menu. Great food, great music, and friendly helpful staff. It's worth a visit.

Service was good but the food was below average. The teriyaki noodles had very watery sauce with not a lot of flavor, the dragon prawn noodles more or less tasted like the sauce you can get from packets, however the prawns and beef in these dishes were nice.
