Absolutely amazing nihari. Such a lovely little restaurant, and friendly and welcoming service. I am Israeli but I felt immediately at home in this lovely place 💕

Same taste of all dishes and unprofessional staff

Went in at 6pm, no service , dirty place , owner too busy counting money … the only good things were roti , and mixed veggy curry… rest yuk !! Another crossed off the list …. 3 dishes , veg curry was only one we finished , rest were half finished … so maybe you did t notice everything … maybe give the shop a clean and coat of paint and get proper staff rather everyone in your family :)

Attended with a couple of friends for a sit in meal. Shocking service, impolite owner and awful surroundings. Food precooked and reheated in a microwave. Food itself was passable, just and no more. Only saving grace was the roti - best I've had. Ok, if you want a quick carry out but don't even think about going for a meal- we certainly won't be!!

Enjoyed everything, authentic flavours. Found the Salmon curry very rich though. I’ll be back soon and hope to get lamb and potato curry that day😁

Must visit if you like Pakistani Food. Breakfast (Bong, Nihari & Channey), and Lunch (Different Pakistani Curry Items). Best place if you want to taste pure Pakistani food.

The food tasted delicious, although I didn't know what I exactly ordered(one chicken salad, one vegetable sauce) there was no menu, so I just ordered by what I saw in the store. The boss was also friendly and nice, even I didn't have cash.

Right, the first thing to address is the numerous mentions of poor customer service - I can vouch that is is DEFINITELY A FRIENDLY AND WELCOMING PLACE, in fact the staff are so nice - they are only human and can get a little stressed when busy. I think some people are expecting a 5 star Michelin resteraunt service which they will not get in deepest, darkest Allison Street in Govanhill!!!!!. Now let's discuss the food, so take note: 1 The menu changes daily and set dishes are served on particular days 2 The food is truly amazing but can be a little oily. what to do?, pour some of the oil into a saucer 3 Some customers travel from Edinburgh to taste the home style cooking...on occasions they even cook quail curry and sheep brains, hey, after this you will not be complaining but saying "baaaa", lol 🤣🤣🤣 3 The prices are the best in the whole of Glasgow :) 4 The Curry Blog, "Curry Huete" rates the place and he's had more hot dinners than your average guy The food and the prices should keep you coming back. So, get on down to the Sheerin Palace if you know what's good for you ☺️👍☺️👍☺️👍☺️

This has to be the best authentic Pakistan food I have ever tasted. The chicken and spinach is absolutely delicious you have to be careful tho as they change their main menu daily.

just went there to get roti, staff was absolutely rude. he gave me roti in brown paper it's absolutely hot i asked him to put roti in bag. m i supposed to carry roti in brown paper all the way hom😂😂😂 he said 15ps for bay😂 what a joke, i gave him £20😂 so he can next time give someone food in bag😅 won't go again, so rude no customer service skills at all

Delicious Pakistani food, good prices. The best Nihari in Glasgow!

Simple, sublime Pakistani food at very reasonable prices. The settings are plain but the food is anything but, with daily menu changes leaving no two trips the same. On my last we ordered the channa and a courgette and potatoe curry. The former was rich and decadent, lightly spiced with a thick and hearty base. The latter was cooked to perfection, melt-in-your-mouth chunks of veg leaving a deliciously sweet aftertaste. Accompanied with four plate sized rotis, two crunchy samosas and washed down with two cans of juice and a frothy lassi, the bill still left plenty change from a £20. One time I was there a customer sitting at the next table told me "this is proper food, like it would be cooked at home". If you want a true taste of Pakistan, look no further.

Traditional Pakistani food place in Glasgow... Need lot of improvement in service but overall nice wee restaurant.

1. Delicious food. We could taste all sorts of spices and natural flavours. 2. However, the chickpeas dish was too spicy. Didn't really help with yoghurt. 3. All in all, we still appreciate the friendly staff who answered all our questions with patience and this affordable price. Thank you!

I've loved this place for over 12 years. Cant fault it. Seekh kebabs, Chapli kebabs, biryani and currys all absolutely amazing. Nice place to sit in as well... Possibly best curry on the Southside.

Daleem, Zardaa and Glub Jamin are delicious. Aloo goshat,and kofta is also tasty Puri is good but puri Chana(tasty) are different

Excellent taste, just like home made. Paratha, omelette,kulcha, kofta curry and desi chai. Very different from typical take aways. Although needs improvement in the sitting area. Would definitely recommend.

Food taste deteriorated over period of time. Customer service is ridiculous & you won't feel welcomed. Guy over counter always on mobile phone & gives stupid look when asked Some thing. Mostly staff busy in looking after deliveries. Must avoid.

Service aint all that, but the food is tasty, propa desi authentic grease bucket curries, which are the 💣💣💣. There nehari is delicious. So is all there curries. Great value for money and tasty food

Authentic Pakistani cuisine. A great place to have 'desi nashta' (traditional breakfast), but it's only available on the weekends! This isn't a fine dining experience by any means, but it's as authentic as it gets in Glasgow.

All reviews about this place is all positive, making me wonder, how come we had such a poor experience last night? An intro: I had tried food from Sheerin Palace before (a few times) at events. This company does catering in the past (now, I dont know). So that's how I got to know about this place. I have never been to their restaurant before, and since it has been awhile, I decided to went there for a visit with my hubby. So we came on Sunday evening, really excited to try authentic Pakistani food. However, we were not even greeted properly as soon as we entered. There was a man at the cashier, looking slighly annoyed at our attendance. I asked him, 'Hello, is it okay if we sit down?'. He said 'yeah, what do you want?' (with an angry face). I replied 'what do you have?'. and he just showed us what is in the glass display. He did not even explained what are the offers, leaving us unsure. Then he mumbled something in Urdu, a guy from the kitchen came in and served us. This guy is much younger, and has better customer service. In the end, we bought chicken beriyani, vege beriyani and chicken jalfrezi. Both beriyanis are averange, but the chicken jalfrezi is delicious! We chose to take away despite planning to sit in earlier on. My hubby said 'lets eat at home, they dont want us here'. Mind you, the restaurant was empty. After this experience, we both have decided that we will not be coming back again. Sheerin Palace, if you are reading this: please train your staff to be more friendly to your customers. Please also label your food that is in display. We are not Pakistani/Indian, hence we do not know what is what. The only reason I came to your restaurant was to introduced my Scottish hubby authentic Pakistani food. But, you have failed our expectations.

You go to The Sheerin Palace - Authentic Indian Cuisine that needs publicised - Chicken Saag - Lady Finger ( Okra ) - Biriyani - Potato & Cauliflower - Chickpea - Take it home cold from the big dishes on display - Ask for your freshly prepared bread the minute you walk in and don't forget to ask for salad & sauce with your order - We start eating it cold with the bread the minute we arrive home - Heaven xxx

The food is really good proper Asian style (Desi), and the price is very reasonable. Depending on what day you go they have about 4-5 different currys a day with a vegetarian option. Only thing that lets this place down is the service, the staff are so arrogant and rude with no manners!

Fantastic homestyle Desi asian food at great prices and all cooked fresh on the premises by the very friendly staff who will help you choose a dish that suits you. Everything that is available is displayed under the glass counter and dishes differ every day. If available when you visit, I would recommend Chicken and Spinach, Kofta and Egg, Vegetable Curry, Lamb Shank and Chicken Jalfrezi. Nans and Chapattis are cooked fresh to order. Rice is available every day in a Chicken Biryani version and sometimes they do a brown fried rice with peppercorns and chilli's that's delicious. Good selection of other interesting items like Seehk Kebabs, Pakora, sweets etc. On Saturday we had Chicken with Spinach, Bhindi Curry, One Chapatti and two cans of juice. We sat in and paid £11.00. Forget the mainstream and get real.

Pakistani "Home made" style food. These curries are not same as normal takeaway who use same curry sauce to make all kind of curries. Different curry - Different style & taste. Need to clean sitting area.

Its real home style pakistani food

Wow this place serves serious food. Anybody who enjoys authentic Asian food ought to make a pilgrimage there. It is either diner-style eat in, or take away. Cash only. The food is proper traditional Pakistani food, the kind you would find in a home where the food was valued and the cooking superb. I had their chana dhal - and this was the best I have had. The meatballs and hardboiled egg curry was something I have never had before, but I shall try to have it again as soon as I can. My companion had a fish curry, and it too was very good. The okra curry was tender and not slimy (and we all know how easy that is to spoil). We will certainly be back

Having been recommended we decided to have a Saturday night curry. We went over and the choice was great. We settled on a Chick Pea curry, Chicken with Spinach and Lamb and Potato. Rice and a Naan. Beautiful. Authentic, tasty, plentiful. I will travel the 6 miles to get food from here.

I've used this place as a takeaway on a number of occasions and never been disappointed. Samosas are great and today I also enjoyed some excellent pakora. They also have a number of home made curries each day (nothing you would see in a typical Glasgow curry house) and the two I've tried (potato and pea, chickpea) were delicious. There seems to usually be a couple of veggie curries but also lamb and chicken. A great local find, and reasonably priced.

The best seekh kebab I've had in ages, it was authentic, bursting with flavour and spices and the naan bread was freshly made and served with salad and a lovely mint sauce. Very understanding staff and customer service was great

I was introduced to Sheerin Palace by my Pakistani neighbour and it never disappoints! If you're not sure about a dish they will let you try it first and I can definitely recommend the Spinach and Chicken and the Okra or Aubergine veggie curries. The chapatis are cooked fresh while you wait and you can either have the dishes heated up or take them home and put them in a microwave. So much nicer than any of the other takeaways in the area - much more authentic and very, very tasty.

I work nearby and often visit here for a curry. I absolutely love this place. I would recommend the chickpea curry or chicken biryani with either a nan bread or chapati.

ordered seekh kebab , aloo tikki , anda kofta and rotis yesterday and it was a fail. there were tiny bone pieces inside that seekh kebab , Aloo tikkis were full of besan that tastes worst . dont know they changed their chef or what... never gonna order again
