The best restaurants serving Asian food in England

We visited for my daughter's Birthday on a Sunday afternoon. There was 8 of us so they requested a pre-order which was fine. A very friendly welcome and quick service with drinks was a great start. The food was excellent. We all had a roast dinner with some extra bits. There was a mix up with 2 cauliflower cheeses but this was quickly rectified and taken off our bill which was very decent of them and unexpected to be honest as these things happen. They brought out a cake for us that we provided at the end which was lovely. All in all a really great meal. Will definitely go back.

Pedido a domicilio. Llegó a tiempo y estaba caliente, pero no sabía muy bien. Los colores de la comida eran tan brillantes que parecían artificiales. El trato era acuoso y los currys muy aceitosos. Estaba bien, pero no lo volvería a elegir.

We went to a Wedding party at the Park Gate - what a fantastic place. The staff are hard working and friendly. Their function room is brilliant- a good size and plenty of outdoor space too with lots for children to do. We will definitely be calling in for a drink.

Simplemente fenomenal! Desde la amabilidad y el cuidado del personal a la comida - que es excepcional. Vivo en el este de Londres. Sin embargo, si estoy comiendo fuera o conduciendo para recoger una comida para llevar. Me niego a usar cualquier otro restaurante. El valor del dinero por la calidad de los alimentos también es algo especial. Debes tratar de entender.

We ate on a Thursday, was very quiet. Only one other table in. Had lovely conversation with the owner, about Siri Lanka and how they had only just started up 2 months earlier and are still finding their feet here. Was very welcoming and very courteous, couldn’t have done more for us. As for the food, we had the garlic prawn starter between us, was lovely and packed with flavourful Fresh ingredients. We each had the devils dish, which is spicy and sweet curry in a sticky sauce. I had chicken, partner had the prawns. Both absolutely amazing, very well presented. The Mushroom rice had a wonderful depth of flavour. We had coconut roti and garlic roti, I wasn’t a fan of the coconut roti but the garlic roti was great. Taste like a thin garlic pancake but it really works. Authentic Siri lankan cuisine. Highly recommend!

Great food and lovely people the best takeaway in Stourbridge by far

Heard good things from get go. Arrived at 7:30pm. Quick service initially getting drinks and starters within 15 minutes. Starters great when they came. HOWEVER… 90 minutes later no sign of main meal. To top it off, nobody out of 3 members of staff working on half empty restaurant came to ask if we had had our main meals yet or even made eye contact for that matter. Extremely poor customer service on that front unfortunately. Hate to give a review like this but when going to a restaurant, the minimum you’d want to receive is the food you order or ATLEAST a reason as to why it is delayed by more than an hour. Reason given 1.5 hours later was that our order had been crossed off from the ordering list. Seem like very nice people however please interact with your customers more throughout a dining experience.

My nephew, niece and myself went on 2nd December on a recommendation, by a friend. I was a big fan of Montys, Northfields back in the 1980's and knew the owner/family, now the son of that family, owns Nepal. I was met by a warm welcome as we recognised each other. I can't recommend them enough. I was transported straight back to those wonderful curries we had in Montys, Northfields Avenue. Happy days! I will be back very soon. Una joya escondida 💎 tan encantador personal que trabaja allí. Voy a restaurantes a lo largo de Londres a menudo, y es una pena que incluso tenga que decir esto, pero este servicio de lugar es uno de los mejores que he presenciado en tanto tiempo. La comida está llena de sabor. Por el precio no te puedes quejar. Vale cada centavo. Felizmente ve aquí de nuevo. Mi nuevo spot en Tooting me piensa. 😊

Early evening quick bite before a concert rather than Macdonalds! We were pleasantly surprised firstly by the welcome, then it continued with a really good choice of tapas at reasonable prices. The food was delicious and really filled us up. Lovely atmosphere, plenty of space as in we weren’t all squashed up next to other tables. Music not too intrusive and acceptable for two OAP’s (just) and all the staff were friendly, polite and helpful to us and to each other. Lovely to come across a place like this by accident.

Después de leer algunos comentarios negativos, tuve que agregar mis pensamientos. Habiendo aparecido en una hora de almuerzo para una caja para llevar de comida mixta. Tienes que seleccionar y llenar tu caja desde el baño maría al lado de la ventana. El lugar es pequeño y estábamos haciendo cola con la oficina local y los trabajadores de la construcción. Nos sorprendió tanto la buena relación calidad-precio de la comida que decidimos regresar unos días más tarde para sentarnos dentro y nuevamente quedamos muy impresionados con la comida y el servicio.

What a great find this is. Been three times now and it’s great. Love everything, ambience, staff and of course the food. It’s so tasty and served traditionally.

Four of us had an absolutely superb meal here last Friday. All our mains were so delicious, as were the side dishes. We will definitely return!

My wife and I decided to have lunch here, as we had not been before. Lovely quiet location and welcoming staff and atmosphere. Extensive menu choices with so many appealing options on offer. The spiced banana milkshake was amazing as was the pork belly kare kare. Delicious combinations and something different than the usual. So good we will be visiting again next week. Highly recommended and Tess the owner is lovely.
