We have been to the Goa Goa to celebrate many birthdays over the years & had a wonderful time. However, this visit for my grandsons birthday , although the food was tasty , the curries arrived with naans but rice arrived 15 minutes later meaning the curries & naan were cold when we were eating them. A starter that was ordered (chicken kebab) wasn’t available but we weren’t informed until the starters were being served so we ending up sharing some onion bhajis! There seemed to be lots of staff & the restaurant was busy but we left very disappointed at the disarray & service that was offered. You need to be more organised or you’ll loose loyal repeat customers!

One of the best, if not “the best” - authentic Indian/pakistani restaurants in the Birmingham area! They deserve more than 5 stars! We have been coming here for at least 15 years. Have recently moved out of the area and we have Itihaas cravings, we still pop down every so often when we can 😁 The food here is exquisite, reminds me of authentic home cooked curries but with a richer intensity. It would be hard to list my favourites as there’s just too too many! I’d say their palak chicken, butter chicken, makhani daal, tadka daal, gol gappa, pani puri, chicken tikka and their lamb chops are delicious. They also do a jungle chicken curry which is amazing too! Their lamb is good too I just prefer my lamb chucks in smaller pieces so the flavours fuse in deeper. Service here is exemplary, staff are friendly and courteous without being over bearing. A relaxing ambience when dining in, makes for an enjoyable evening. I really cannot fault them, they are renowned for a reason and I love how they are constantly refreshing their menu with new offerings. Actually yes, I have a criticism - please open another restaurant near Solihull, you are losing out hugely! 💕❤️🤗

Lovely restaurant, went for my daughters birthday meal and we had great food and great service - we couldn't manage everything and our leftover food was neatly packaged up for us to enjoy for lunch the next day without even having to ask, I also asked for a starter which wasn't on the menu and they kindly obliged, we will be back!

Malabar: I can honestly say I have never had a bad experience visiting this restaurant. It has a warm and inviting atmosphere, with friendly and attentive staff who make us feel welcome every time we walk through the door. To start our meal, we ordered ten popadoms (10 I know, my friend has a popadom addiction) which arrived at our table quickly, accompanied by a selection of delicious chutneys. The popadoms were crispy and light, making for the perfect start to our dining experience. For the main course, we opted for two chicken curries: the Chicken Tikka Curry and the Chicken Tikka Masala. Both dishes were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, with tender chicken pieces that simply melted in our mouths. The Chicken Tikka Curry was rich and flavorful, with a subtle spice that left us craving more, while the Chicken Tikka Masala was creamy and indulgent, with a hint of sweetness that complemented the spice perfectly. We also ordered the Bengali Lamb Curry, a dish that was new to us, but one that we'll certainly be ordering again. The lamb was cooked until it was tender and juicy, and the curry was rich and aromatic, with a complex flavour profile that was both exotic and comforting. To accompany our curries, we ordered a serving of Tarka Dhal, a delicious lentil dish that was the perfect balance of flavours. The lentils were cooked until they were soft and creamy, and the spicing was spot on, with a hint of ginger and garlic that added depth and warmth to the dish. To round off our meal, we ordered chips and naan bread, both of which were perfectly cooked and delicious. The chips were crispy and golden, while the naan bread was fluffy and soft, with a hint of charring that added a subtle smoky flavour. Overall, our dining experience at Malabar was exceptional. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was attentive and friendly. I would highly recommend Malabar to anyone looking for a dining experience that won't disappoint. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we felt like we were in good hands, and we'll certainly be returning to Malabar again and again.

Ordered food for the first time from them and first the delivery took 1hour 50mins and when we got our food the sauce with popadums was tasteless and the nan was too thick and undercooked like its was raw flour. I am very disappointed with my order. I am attaching a picture of nan.

We had a lovely evening at Thania Spice. The service was warm and attentive from start to finish, and the food was full of flavour – everything we tried was freshly cooked and beautifully spiced. It's worth noting that the restaurant isn’t licensed, but there’s an off-licence right next door so you can still enjoy a drink with your meal. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, making it a really enjoyable dining experience. We’ll definitely be coming back.

I've purchased lunch from this outlet quite a few times now, each time believing/hoping the food would improve. Sadly it hasn't. The restaurant is clean and bright but fairly small. Staff are pleasant and normally quick to serve but the food is, basically, awful - tasteless, warm stodge. There are quite a few options for the toppings including their special Chicken Curry, for example, which tastes of nothing really. The staff fill the selected box to the brim with overly bland noodles/rice to save money so they're unable to put in too much topping. This outlet could be a little goldmine as the concept is original/good but it definitely needs some work on the menu.

Slightly disappointing experience. Tandoori king prawn starter was basically two small king prawns, one piece of cucumber and half a tomato. That works out at £2 per prawn and about 50p salad. No offer of mint sauce was made. Main meal was okay and good atmosphere. Not sure if we will go back, such a shame 😕
