My friends and I could not believes what we have experienced.... A Chinese guy who served us was so rude and fierce . I brought 2 friends to try out the food . Food was ok but the service we have received were scary . We all felt frightened by this front of house guy who served us . Plus he was not friendly to his staffs at all . We were all wondering if he was hired from a mafia ..... He is definitely not the right guy for the job . I am very surprised that anyone would like to be working under or with him ...... Never recommend anyone and definitely will never be going back again .

A very authentic-tasting dim sum place, as a gal from Hong Kong. Missing the cuisine from back home, this really hit the spot. I ordered the classic dim sum options, har gao (shrimp dumpling), siu mai (pork and prawn dumpling), soup dumpling (xiu loong bao), some egg fried rice and a beef noodle dish. I went there with my friend and all the dishes were great, tasted good, took a reasonable amount of time to come out. It was my second time there, but my friends first, and it left a great impression on her too. Would highly recommend and this place is definitely my go to!

Me and a colleague of mine work nearby and go to Noodle Bar around 2 - 3 times per week. The food is absolutely delicious, portion sizes are big and the waiters are very nice. My favourite meal is the big bowl meal, Beef Brisket with Red Chilli Vegetables with fine noodles in soup. My colleague often goes for Mapo Tofu or the Triple Roast.

Been coming here for well over 10 years. Can't stay away. Best in the city.....

My fave chinese restaurant, the food is absolutely delicious with generous portions, I always go for the big bowl which is the best. The service is no-nonsense you just go in, have a quick look at the menu, order and the food comes quick. It's on my regular rotation of restaurants it's just so good.

Disappointing. Food flavourless and brought out to the 3 of us separately. Chinese tea tasted of nothing (needed more than 1 tea bag). For the price, we've had much nicer food in Coventry. A shame because it uses to be a reliable and good value place. I wouldn't go again.

Just had the worse Chinese in my life. No taste to any of the dishes, absolutely shocking. Small portions, chicken dish £12 came with box full of Boiled noodle and 5 pieces of chicken tastless. Ordered at 20:00 and they close at 21:00 but is no excuse to send food like this out!! Mix veg Boiled no salt no seasoning no nothing, hospital food. All dishes just Boiled basically and no it's not about of their way of cooking because I had food from here before and was ok for a takeaway. Paid £54 and all went in the bin. I will order a indian now because I ve Benn working all day and I am starving!! What a joke. Never ever order from here or even eat in there, just robbing peoples money on Boiled noodles.

In my case, the classic question "where do you want to eat" is normally answered with "let's go to the Noodle Bar".

Big bowls of flavoursome Chinese food at a good price; arriving within ten minutes of ordering.

Very nice food, friendly and attentive staff, can recommend the beef brisket in black bean sauce with green pepper it was very tasty, my friends were also impressed with their food.

Decent food, decent prices, not as cheap as they were

Food is always good and portion sizes are fantastic. Service is quick and efficient. Definitely think it's one of the best, if not the best Chinese restaurant in Coventry. Salt and pepper chicken is fantastic.

I love this place usually but went for a meal and ended up with food poisoning from seafood curry

Such a shame to rate 1 star. We are regulars to this place but this evening, I ordered tempura fish and noodles for delivery. It was completely off- if I had eaten it I would have been extremely poorly. I don't know how they could have cooked it without realising it was off. Awful.

Service was very quick and efficient, the big bowl noodles were exactly that, and hot. A gentle buzz from other diners helped create some atmosphere. Left there absolutely stuffed.

Very lovely food hidden gem of a place went for the first time with a friend and it was lovely good portions and good service everything was all good will be visiting again for sure!

This place has one of my absolute favourite dishes. I go often with different family members. I eat in many different restaurants, from cheaper to Michelin starred. The staff are friendly, and provide take out boxes if you can't manage the whole meal (which I frequently can't).

Food below average. Order was wrong, although the waitress repeated it back to us. Pricy and bland. Cheap interior, poorly atmosphere. Save yourself, walk 3 more minutes, get brilliant service and atmosphere, delicious food, for same money or less. Plenty options from competition, brand names included. Would avoid.

Not good. There was a clear language barrier and they dont really seem to be prepared for sit ins. Cash only whilst not illegal is a fair indication of the nature of this business. My chicken curry seemed to come from a tin and the 2 other family members were not impressed. Cheap tho. I would avoid I doubt the owners will mind.

I've been coming to Noodle bar for over 8 years, easily one of the best Chinese food in the world. The service has improved greatly over the years too which is fantastic. Noodle bar is positioned upstairs in the center of Coventry, I always get sweet and sour chicken and egg fried rice. Worth visiting!

I have been going to Noodle Bar for nearly 20 years, and it still maintains the exceptionally high standards of traditional chinese cuisine for reasonable prices.

Great food and alot of it! The big bowl meal is where its at choose from met vege and base be it noodle or rice.

We were in the area and decided to try this place. The takeaway part is on the ground floor entrance and the restaurant area is upstairs. We were shown to a table straight away, the place was quite quiet. We ordered drinks and food. I had the 'Sunlik' beer which was nice. For food I had the sweet and sour chicken, this was good but not the best I have had. Overall the staff seemed friendly, the food was ok, place seemed relatively clean. Location is quite good.

Just ordered a house special...curried mushroom and vermicelli noodles-Soggy noodles...tastless...no seasoning ... disappointingly dull after a friend recommended us to you...sorry but not worth the money...misses had chicken satay and she wasn't impressed either...again tasteless-Like a soup rather then a main course meal. Dim sum starter-Dont want to be disrespectful but shocking guys-Watered down sweet chilli sauce...come on !! We ordered takeaway-£33

Unassuming venue but great food. Love the big bowls where you pick a meat, rice/noodle, sauce etc.

We went there after my brother's graduation. Tried a few dishes and not bad. The day was so hot, the staff were also nice and considerate.

I’ve tried a few of the noodle soups here, they’re all very tasty! Good sitting area and the staff are all lovely and attentive.

I usually order delivery, but when I HAVE eaten in it has been a friendly place with cheerful and helpful staff. Delicious and plentiful food too, with plenty to choose from and my gluten-free husband is easily catered for.

Been eating hear well over a decade. Always the best place to eat out with friends and solo. The menu is good and cater well for vegans. The chefs can make amendments to all dishes. Good seating and service always. My go to place on a frequent basis.

Few good chinese food in city centre that do roast

Food is okay, and female boss is kind and helpful. HOWEVER , I cannot believe a waiter is always RACIST with Asian ppl( weird right? he is Asain waiter and look down on asain ppl,) I don’t know WHY!! I have been there 3 times, but 2 times encounter that guy who is like I own him money and get very arrogant and disrespectful attitude !! BUT WITH other non-asain customer he is smiling with joy , I notice that guy do this to other asain ppl as well, AVOID!!!

What a hidden gem! Have been recommended this place for a while, but it's so unassuming when you walk past, that we never dared to walk in until now. Service is very quick and the atmosphere and food as authentic as could be. They have a vast variety of dishes to choose from.

Ordered for takeout like i usually do. I’ve never had a problem ever. I have been one of your loyal customers for years. But after today, will never go back to you guys ever again. I recieved one wrong item from my order, so decided to ring up to let them know, to then be told that i have to wait 15-20 minutes for a remake which was fine. Was called again by the same staff member to then be told that i have to give the wrong item that was sent to me back to the driver, which i said was fine. Asked to speak to the manager and the manager seemed to refuse to speak to me, making it seem like they wanted the staff member to sort out the problem because apparently it was his fault. As a manager of another establishment in town this is very poor customer service, making your staff member speak to the customer instead of your management, it sounded like this staff member was being bullied to be honest, he honestly sounded so uncomfortable to speak to me on the phone. I asked to speak to the manager again and he said one moment, for him to then hung up on me which im assuming the manager told him to do so. I was then told that they are unable to make the dish at all, so i replied to ask for a full refund and i also said i would return all the items to the driver, to then be told no. Why should i wait 30 more minutes for one dish when the rest of my dishes are going cold without any compensation whatsoevet for this inconvinence. We were trying to celebrate a birthday and you have ruined it. Is it a new management? New staff? If so they need retraining. I am appalled the way this situation was handled. Never will i ever be your customer again. Very very disappointing as i was a very loyal customer.

Honestly the best food you'll ever have!

When you going to noodle bar the food is fantastic but unfortunately when you order take away the food they delivery is very poor and bad . I ordered few times take away and always find something bad . Last time I had duck with noodles and noodles was not even cooked 🙄

Amazing noodles 🍜 especially curry with udon!

The attitude towards local people and Chinese people is completely different. I have been there many times, especially on the second floor, where a male waiter is very friendly towards local people and says goodbye when they leave; however, he basically ignores Chinese people. Ironically, he himself is also Chinese... What a shame.

I had a terrible experience at Noodle Bar. The waiter's attitude was extremely rude and unhelpful. and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience

Very nice, cosy spot, good food and prices

We were having high hopes. We had a large take out order for 6 of us. Nothing really stood out as all quite bland. All the main dishes came with rice or noodles in the same dish, which absorbed all of the sauce. The quantity of meat in the dishes was low. Dim Sum was good, and the triple roast was the saving grace. I don't think I will be making a specific trip back there again.

Compared to other visits the food could’ve been better. I feel since the prices have increased the portions have decreased with the fish and prawns becoming low in quality.

Ordered a whole roast duck and belly pork, what a mistake!!!!!!!!!!! the duck was just full of off-cuts with lots of bones and not a lot of meat, as if they kept most of the breast meat and gave us the bony parts of ducks that they had to make up the order. it definitely came from 2 different ducks or more as the neck sections were different colours and sizes, what also gave it away was how they gave me two halves of the head but the same side of a ducks face!!!! The belly pork, wow, the portion size is did not even fill half of a medium size takeaway container, feel totally scammed, well never order/come to this restaurant again, please check your orders before leaving, you may not get what you've ordered.

Tastes great, big portions, quick service! My favourite place in the city centre!

It’s was absolutely amazing. Mouth watering, packed with flavour. It’s just a dream to eat. My order is szechwan with vegetables, king prawns and I get that with udon noodles alongside with steamed king prawn dumplings.

Bit cold, bit overpriced, but the food was delicious and service was great. Jasmine tea is a type of cold bubble tea not Jasmine flower tea as I thought.

Good char siu(barbecue pork), roster pork and roster duck. Also the spice oil is good. Dishes come with good quantity of char siu and other roster food. Advice to have the three roster rice, really tasty and good meal.

I ordered Shanghai Xiu Loong steamed buns for £4.80. I only got 4 very small (~4 cm diameter) buns. They tasted okay, but I felt it was too little for the price.

Great HK milk tea, only £2.50 for a pint. Crispy belly pork was good, char siu above average but unfortunately the duck was a let down (dry and lacked flavour). Fast, efficient service. Prices are good.

Food still as delicious as ever but I do feel portions size is slightly on the smaller size and for the price I'd at least expect to fill full. I used to come here every week but now it's a rare occasion simply because of the price

Authentic Hong Kong style roast meats

Lovely big bowls of tasty food as ever. I had roast pork with cashews and vegetables, and steamed rice from the ABC bowl section of the menu. Pork was delicious, loads of cashews and a tasty sauce. Everyone had similarly good meals, we left fully satisfied and the prices are reasonable. We've been many times and I am sure we will again.

Great portions for the price. Food took maybe 5 minutes to come out! Huge selection for the big noodle bowl combo (you pick three) from the ABC list on the menu. I’d suggest caution on the scoops of the chili spice that can be dangerously hot! The chicken and the roasted pork were delicious. Vermicelli noodles and rice were a good choice as well. Will definitely be back soon! Seems like a staple considering how packed it was! 5/5

Food was ok. If you're not sure what to order, go for the fried noodles. The "noodles in soup" came in a clear tasteless broth which I wouldn't call soup. The sharing dim sum platter consists of three small wontons, one spring roll and one chicken skewer. I would say however that the side order of fried noodles was quite big (we ordered two for our children because we were told they'd be small bowls).
