Got takeaway - curry was bland, the chicken pieces had no taste. I bet the plain chicken junks were cooked sperately then dumped into the sauce 10 minutes before collection. Butter chicken was a joke just tasted of coconuts???? My advise get a microwave curry from your local supermarket for half the price.

I have to say that this was quite possibly the worst Indian food I’ve ever eaten. I had a chicken curry with pilau rice, the rice was bland and watery, the curry was runny and absolutely tasteless, no flavour whatsoever, the chicken in the curry was tough and dry. I had chips , they were over cooked and reheated, I also ordered a cheese garlic Nan… or should I say no cheese garlic Nan with burnt edges. Poppadoms were stale. I’d be embarrassed if I was you !

It was a mild spring night when we visited this establishment - even BEFORE we had chosen an Indian restaurant to dine from, we knew. We knew we wanted a butter chicken and chicken tandoori (2 chicken dishes is a bit much - but the heart wants what the heart needs). The tandoori chicken leg was tender, although the breast was a little dry, the yoghurt dressing was a little on the sweet side for my preferences but no complaints. The butter chicken, PLOT TWIST, I believe was actually a butternut squash chicken. Think spiced pumpkin soup meets an Indian chicken curry. Maybe they looked at us and thought - these two don’t need anymore butter in their life, we’ll never know. But it delivered strange vibes to the meal, did we still eat it 90% of it? Absolutely. Would we come back? Not for a ‘butter chicken’ that’s for sure.

Nicely decorated restaurant with polite attentive staff. They have a wide range of dishes on offer covering the whole of India’s cuisine. We elected for northern Indian style dishes and we can safely safe they were very traditional in flavour, so we were incredibly satisfied. Each curry dish had a good amount of meat in it too which is worth mentioning (Lamb Balti and a Chicken Vindaloo). The Paneer for starters was a good way to get the juices flowing. All in all a brilliant experience; traditional, authentic flavours and good fair prices!

Brother and his partner have been regulars to this place now for many years and they visited here on the 14th March and the day after my brother got very ill and started having diarrhea and he's been off work ever since, he's now since being tested for Salmonella poisoning so yeah this place clearly doesn't follow the correct procedures for cleanliness and if I was him I would be suing for loss of earnings

Nice food but I had ordered 4 cans of coke which I had not received. Disappointing

Beautiful food. Was very flavourful. Mint yoghurt was especially noticeable.

Food was incredible … we wanted sharing foods and my daughter has recently became vegetarian and really enjoyed it also. Will definitely be back

Popped in for a meal and the welcome and service were very good. Small portions of sides but tasted great. Main meals were of high quality however, I expected more prawns based on the extra charge made for them. All in all, we enjoyed our time there and will go back in the future.

The garlic chilli chicken tasted great but the portion of chips was soggier than my nans tights after a night at a Michael buble concert. Saying that, I like them soggy so I’m giving these Bombay bad boys a solid 4.4 out of 5.

Delivered 2 side orders rather than 1 side and a main and charged for it. Called the restaurant and did not want to know, said to contact Just Eat. So went without dinner. Won’t be going there again.

If I had the options to put ZERO stars I would have done that!! Only after 30 mins of eating the food, I puked for nearly an hour. The food contained lots of food colouring in the chicken, the chicken was red like a hell hound’s eye and it was not even warm. The food arrived cold and even after reheating it this is what happened. I was so worried that I might pass out or even worse. If you don’t believe me or feel that I am targeting a particular restaurant please do visit my profile to see some good reviews that I have given too!! I have already advised my friends not to eat here or order delivery!!!!! TRUST ME WHEN I SAY THAY I WILL SUEING THEM FOR IMPROPER FOOD STANDARDs!!!!!!

I recently visit Bombay Joe's and tried their Chicken Tandoori dish. The experience was delightful! The Chicken Tandoori was good, with tender and well-marinated chicken pieces bursting with aromatic spices. The dish was cooked to perfection, leaving the meat juicy and flavorful. Have ordered before and it’s a good curry house, however, £1 for a single poppadom, you’re taking the Micky out of people here.

Really bad service. Asked for mild spice, it was too oily and spicy, I mentioned it to the guy in the restaurant, was rude and did nothing to help. Refused to change it. Popadom were stale and refused to change that. All in all left a bad impression bad food bad service.

Rapid delivery but chicken was obviously microwaved, tough & chewy. Poppadoms have got much smaller but still £1 each. Not as good as it used to be & getting worse...

Ordered a curry from here, aweful quality of meat, chicken curry is basically pre prepped tikka kabab pieces thrown in to curry sauce. You cannot pass that off as curry, bad practice! If you are going to sell this kind of food reduce your prices instead of scamming people. Thanks.

It's probably the best restaurant I have been to in Coventry. This cosy restaurant has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, friendly service, and excellent food. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Discovered Bombay Joes only recently after trying others for delivery. Describe them in one word, Brilliant! I’ve ordered a number of times and the quality is consistently outstanding. Unfortunately I’m leaving Coventry soon and I don’t suppose they’ll deliver to north Lincolnshire!

Total rip off!! Sack the chef tonight I think. Was awful. Doughy naan not cooked properly, even worse the curries were watered down so much it just tasted like slop. So disappointed, last time we tried here was lovely. But this evening gone totally down hill. Wouldn’t give to my dog!! This needs to be looked into. Do you have a different chef? Do not waste your time or money.

Honestly one of the best Indians I’ve had, we came from London for the night & was truly blown away. Everything we ordered was 10/10 fresh & full flavour. The portions were generous & the speed of delivery was spot on. Very pleased and highly recommended

Well thought I would give it another go for a home delivery!!!! But the delivery was late and the food was bland and not very hot, thank goodness for a microwave and the naan to was stone cold. Not a great experience in anyway Let's see if I get a response!?!?
