To Pho in Coventry

This place has decent pho at a reasonable price. The sweet tofu pudding and salt & pepper tofu were really good. Our friend got a milk tea, but the tapioca pearls were still hard—not properly cooked. Also, the cash-only policy was a bit inconvenient. Overall, it’s an okay spot, but there’s definitely room to improve.

Best authentic pho in Coventry - the rare beef pho is phenomenal!

I waited 30 minutes for a very normal fried rice. Customers who came later than me started eating while I was still waiting for my food.

It's super delicious, with lots of ingredients and lots of noodles. It's so satisfying to have a bowl of hot noodle soup in winter. The restaurant will be full every day, and there will be a queue on weekends. You must check in whenever you go to the city center!

Can be a little wait for a table but it's worth it. Excellent food, quickly prepared, with friendly, efficient service. The banh cuan is a standout dish - steamed mushroom and pork dumplings.

Every time I go to this place I feel welcome, I like the environment and the interiors are simple and look traditional. The food is great and the service too. It is nicely organised and clean, although it is a bit tiny, the place is always busy - I think this is mostly due to the fact that they serve great portions at a great price, plus, the food quality is really good! Careful, it's CASH ONLY! Having the menu located under the transparent table cover is a smart and great way to display the menu - avoids too many prints, avoids the menus to get dirty and it is definitely more sustainable than other options. I must have eaten at To Pho at least three dozen times - probably more. That should tell you something. If you want better Vietnamese street food you’ll probably have to go to Vietnam. The service is prompt, the food is flavoursome, and the portion size generous. Absolutely everybody I have brought here loves it, and it’s not too expensive. What’s not to like !?

Honestly super good, the portions are insane, definitely very much worth the money. The setting of the restaurant is also very nice and cozy. It is a ‘walk-in’ restaurant where you go to the counter and pay before you get your meal and they take cash only. It is definitely one of the best vietnamese food places I’ve been to.

I loved the whole experience. I had the special pho and I keep coming back every week. The portion size is very large and the prices are affordable. The owner goes above and beyond to make sure every customer feel at home. Don't miss out!

Delicious. We ordered hot and sour pho, king prawn pho and vegetable spring rolls and everything tasted great. Huge serving size, ate till our stomachs were full and still had enough left over to be next days lunch ;)

Food is nicely cooked but somehow expensive. They don't accept card payments which is horrible in 2024. The design of the restaurant is okay, nothing extremely special.

Finally found an authentic truly cuisine eatery in the UK, situated in Coventry. Texture of pho is thin and exactly how it should be. Substantial amount of sliced beef. Beef brisket was just as good. Beef was tender. And yes, spring rolls and Squid were great! Thin batter and skin. A must go to for a hearty home food if you ever miss home.

One pho for a whole happy day. The potion is really big and the taste is almost the original flavor in Asia. Very good restaurant for a quick food.

This is a little gem of a restaurant the pho was excellent but oh my goodness such a large portion I couldn't finish and the staff was super nice definitely deserves 5 stars

Can't speak for eating in but got a lunch order for a chicken and pork bahn mi sandwiches. The bread was stale and the pork was basically all fat and hardly meat. I've had better bahn me at another Vietnamese location nearby. Probably won't be back for lunch sadly.

Beautiful place situated in the centre. Friendly and welcoming staff offering a top notch service. Food was prepared in a timely fashion. The salt and pepper squid rings were delectable. I opted for the chicken pho, which tasted clean. Good natural flavours, and the serving size was immense. Perfect for my workout after the gym. Absolutely would recommend and visit again. the portions are massive and the food is so delicious and fresh, the service is great and the food comes so quickly. I would also recommend the salt and pepper squid, its delicious; like all of thier food. The prices are so reasonable based on the portion sizes. Its the best on a cold winters day.

Lovely food but for some reason the tofu baguette is no longer available and it is not possible to switch chicken for tofu either - a bit strange as already the vegetarian options are not many..

Massive disappointment. Vegetarian Pho and Hue are absolutely horrible. No flavour, no aroma, no spices whatsoever. They're not made with veggie broth, it's just boiling water poured over vegetables and herbs. There's no taste in it. Tofu is tasteless, "broth" (water) is tasteless, water with salt tastes better than this... and it costs the same as beef or chicken Pho! Absolute rip-off. Such a shame "Taste Vietnam" is gone as their Pho was spot on.

We went there for a meal with friends last weekend. The first thing to remember is to go with cash as they don't take card payments. Regarding the food, we ordered some summer rolls which were nice to start with. Then I went for a beef curry while my friends ordered a pho. The curry was great but the pho was a better choice, and the amount of pho was also greater. Portions are enough to go home happy with a single dish in all cases. I will definitely go again!

Oh my goodness, best Vietnamese Pho I’ve ever had, just superb, service was perfect, from order to service, possibly 7-8 mins, restaurant cleanliness was easily a 10/10, ambiance just perfect, every diner was Asian other than us, I would say this points to authentic Vietnamese and quality of food, when I am visiting Coventry again, I will be back!

Cash only. Amazing restaurant with really good food. Tried the duck sandwich and also the beef pho and can highly recommend both. Was about £31 for both of them together. Also got the wings and iced coffee which were also quite nice.

Having moved from London where my weekly Vietnamese craving was satisfied in various Vietnamese restaurants on Kingsland Road, I have been searching high and low in the midlands to find a decent Pho. Wow! This place is fantastic. It is cash only so come prepared. Service is quick and pho is super tasty (best I’ve had outside of London) and a generous portion is served. Left with a very happy tummy and we will be back. Thank you and continue doing what you are doing 😋😋

What a great find! I enjoyed squid followed by duck with soft noodles in a broth. Big portion served. The server/order taker was friendly and helpful. This was my first experience in a Vietnamese restaurant and I was impressed. This place, I think is a hub for the Asian community in Coventry as all the other diners were Vietnamese/Asian. I definitely recommend this place!

The shin beef pho is delicious. They only take cash there which is annoying but worth a trip to the cash machine.

This is our happy place, the pho is unbelievable good! Obsessed with the chicken wings & spring rolls. We travel 1hr 30 mins all round trip to come here at least few times a month!

To Pho is super delicious and the portions are enormous Chicken/Tofu Hue is £11.50 and Duck Pho is £12.50 The summer rolls are super fresh It is cash only but there is a cash machine a few shops down the road

Great quality food. I have lost count how many times we have eaten here - 20 or 30 times. We travel in to Coventry just to come to this restaurant. Great food and very nice bubble tea. Most of the main dishes aren't spicy and they offer fresh chilli slices that customers can add themselves and various sauces some of which are spicy - so as a family that mostly dislikes spicy food we are grateful for the flexibility. Comfy seats/sofas also. It is sometimes full on a Saturday lunchtime with some standing outside waiting time, and they don't accept credit cards yet (I would be happy to pay a supplement to pay by card, but perhaps you aren't allowed to have such charging policies these days).

Our second visit, we found it by accident on our last visit to Coventry and we were blown away by the food. We traveled all the way from Banbury just to eat there this time and they didn't disappoint. We will be back.

Worst vietnamese food that I have ever tried in England. Very "chinese" style pho and vermicelli noodle. No lemongrass flavour at all in the vermicelli noodle "with lemongrass pork". Presence of chinese leaf cabbage in the pho, which also had no beansprouts and no sign of any herbs. The broth was so weak it tasted like boiling water mixed with some kind of sweet sauce. Cash only as well.

Had a great meal here a few weeks ago with my partner. Food is cheap and very good for the price. Only a small place but plenty of seating available indoors. Do bear in mind though that it was cash only when we went, but being in the centre of Coventry, of course there are plenty around. Definitely will visit again soon!

The food was really good. Been here many times and still taste delicious like it is my first time. Went here yesterday and was nicely greeted by the owners and was also given free soya dessert. The service provided by the whole team were perfect. I would recommend this place to others.

The best pho we've ever had! I had a shin beef Pho, and my other half had tender beef pho! The best quality pho and the most delicious we've ever had! It's definitely worth every bit and for such a reasonable price! Definitely recommended this to anyone who visits Coventry!
