The best restaurants serving Asian food in Plymouth South West

Mr Woks is the best Thai/SE Asian place to eat in Plymouth, the food is fantastic! I regularly eat here and continue to return time after time, it really is a hidden gem. You are always greeted with a smile and the food is great value for money. Would highly recommend if you are in Plymouth.

Excellent food! Will come back to try other dishes soon. I had the Nepali breakfast which was filling and a mix of great flavours.

This place is such a gem in the market. Please visit because I never thought I would enjoy this, but my son insisted and I had a bite and I was so surprised by how yummy her freshly made Korean Corn Dogs are. We have been back many time since- which is a testament to how good they are. Also very good value for money. Priced very well.

Food was spot on, authentic, freshly made to order. Simple menu, great value, Highly recommend the Tom yum soup! Will be going back again soon

A good place to enjoy freshly cooked Thai food with live music

We had the wonton noodle soup and sukiyaki soup, and both were absolutely delicious! The flavors were so authentic, just like eating in Thailand. The prices were reasonable, and the service was excellent—very friendly staff who always had a smile. Highly recommend this place, and we will definitely be coming back again!

We were a party of 5 sat in a booth. The bench seats were uncomfortable and in close proximity to other diners. We had to endure the conversations of a group of young men which consisted of them talking about ‘birds’, how many they had ‘had’ and if they would go there again (females, not restaurant). The head waiter was effusive and knowledgeable of the menu. He lead us to believe that we would be receiving complimentary items however we found these added onto the handwritten bill at the end of the meal. The hot, sweet and spicy dishes were very sweet, gloopy and devoid of heat. The bhargi were dry and tasteless. On presentation of the bill we were left aghast. It amounted to £52 per head. Considering that only 3 drinks were alcoholic I found this extortionate.

Great place to eat, friendly staff, wide range of options on the menu. A special thanks to Walid who remembers us every time we visit, and goes above and beyond. Would highly recommend!

Really disappointed with the service pre ordered delivery including payment for this evening and still hasn’t arrived it’s over an hour late and cannot contact you the phone just rings then goes to answer phone

Best Japanese food I’ve had outside of Japan

These reviews are fake or long out of date, new situation: The current people are scammers. THREE times they've taken money from me and delivered nothing. Do not order from here or you'll go hungry and waste HOURS with your bank fraud department, good luck!

Really good food, and usually good to time as well. Just be wary of ordering via Kukd; tends to not work when it comes to the payment screen. Order either direct or via just-eat and you'll be sound.

On New Year’s Day our normal choice for Chinese was closed so we decided to use baba wok . Unfortunately this was a bad decision. We paid around £9 for a crispy chilli beef dish . Not only was it extremely soggy with nothing remotely crispy about it! the container contents wasn’t even enough for one person ! It’s almost like they put a little in the container and forgot to dish up the rest ! The amount of chilli was virtually unbearable! The chips were cold and the nasi goreng tasted awful . The Pad Thai was ok but nothing to make us ever want to order again ! Overpriced, terrible portions!

I didn't receive the right order, very disappointed, it was tasty but had to warm it up in the microwave. They also said it would be in about an hour but it was an hour and 45 minutes.

Wouldn’t eat in but always order our take away from here. Food hot when delivered. Tried various dishes from menu all were great. Definitely recommend !
