Visited today this is the best Thai food I've tasted in plymouth freshly cooked staff are very friendly I would definitely recommend them

The most authentic and reasonably priced Thai food in Plymouth! Definitely our go to Thai restaurant. However, they are a bit under staffed so service is a bit slow. But the food does not disappoint! Som tam, nam tok and noodle soup is as authentic as you can get here in Plymouth!

Went to Wan Thai with a friend for lunch today. I had the red curry and spring rolls. It was the best red curry I have had for ages, with a creamy thick sauce with just the right amount of spice (at medium), nice thick pieces of tender chicken breast, and lots of vegetables. Lovely service in an unpretentious setting. I will return soon.

Went for a birthday meal, there were 14 of us and everything was perfect, the food was absolutely incredible, without doubt the best Thai I have ever eaten and the service was excellent.

I found this little restaurant by chance but try to eat there whenever I am in Plymouth. It is only a small family style place with no pretensions at all, clean and tidy with just a few tables. But people go there for the very friendly atmosphere and the absolutely wonderful Thai food which has never disappointed. For example, not every Thai restaurant does Thai salads but here they are spectacular and should not be missed. This gem is really worth seeking out - again and again.

If you are a fan of authentic Som Tam aka papaya salad, this is the best place. You can let them know the level of spiciness you want. It comes with complimentary white rice.

Thai food, Thai taste, very delicious. The quantity is very large. And most importantly, the papaya salad is delicious and very pleasing.

This Thai restaurant was the most sadly Thai restaurant that I've ever been eaten in my culinary journey. I had Chicken Satay, Gang Kheaw Waen and Coconut Rice. The chicken satay was so disappointing and the texture and flavour and taste were so awful. Then came Gang Kheaw Waen which was so plain and runny curry soup and tasted like water. Coconut rice was undercooked and wet in coconut milk. However, the waiter was very pleased and nice girl. That's why I thought I will give her a star rating for her work.

I don't understand how this restaurant is surviving if it's closed every day. It's my favourite food and every time I want to order it's closed. It's ridiculous, if they don't want to work why don't they close it for good then? I love their food and it frustrates me that I can't order because they are always closed. According to their schedule they should be open today, it almost 2pm and they are still closed, holiday period is over, they are still closed. It makes no sense

My favourite place for Thai food in Plymouth. Ordered from here a few times and it is always prepared with care, and in a timely fashion. It’s always been really nice food as well and I have never been let down. The staff are very helpful also.

Ate here over a year ago, but it still stands as the best Thai Green Curry I've ever had, simply sublime!

The somtam and the nam tok moo were the best I've had outside of Thailand. Real authentic, Thai style, not farang style. Perfect!

Nicely prepared, tasty food. Service friendly but a little slow, so it may not be a good choice if you are in a hurry. Good value.

i ordered the padthai and peanut chicken the chicken didnt taste like the way satay chicken would normally taste. it was more sweet and curry like than peanutty speaking of nuts the pad thai had non what so ever. it was so odd nothing had a taste. the padthai came boiling hot and the chicken came cold. its my first time ordering from them and i won't be returning. the thai place in the market is 10 times better. what a shame :(

A small business hidden in the lower part of Plymouth city centre. The staff are helpful, very friendly, and the service was very fast. Every dish we ordered came out quite fast, despite the fact we only saw one member of staff. The food itself is true to it’s name, authentic Thai cuisine. It was all lovely, and deserves high praise. Definitely give it a go if you like Thai food!

Came across this ‘little’ gem yesterday. Authentic, tasty & quality food at a reasonable price. Highly recommend it. Only 5/6 tables & a little chilly BUT, the food overrides everything.

While shopping in Plymouth yesterday we were looking for somewhere to eat and came across Wan Thai. Only a few tables but good choice of food. The service was friendly and prompt and the food was amazing! Will certainly recommend and visit again.

Love this place. Regularly go here with my husband and my daughter. The pad Thai is lovely and always happy and full whenever we eat here. Staff are so friendly. Lovely small cosy restaurant that's very reasonably priced.

I went for the first time today and loved the food. Very authentic, good prices and friendly manager. I had the red curry and the chicken skewers. Both delicious and fresh tasting.

The food here is freshly cooked and delicious. It's an intimate setting with friendly staff/owners, gets busy quickly but is well worth it.

Working in town on a pre Xmas , World Cup weekend, everywhere was rammed. Took a punt on this little place and so glad I did. Service was great, polite and very friendly and the food was amazing. Would definitely recommend it.

A friendly cozy restaurant. The food was amazing and we will be back. I ordered the Pad Thai which was the best I have ever tasted my wife had the Thai green which she thoroughly enjoyed and my son had the childs thai green with no veg. We will be back!

Ordered delivery as recommended by friends. Certain food options aren't usually found on other thai restaurants is a plus. But the food is actually good, we didn't have any problems with the delivery or food and the portions are generously given. Will order again. Ps (I posted a bad photo of the pork cakes, there's more than two but we ate most before photo taken)

Popped in while out exploring in Plymouth, great service. Hands down the best fried rice I have genuinely ever had! So pleased that they offer tofu with their fried rice (usually have to order it separately!). Super flavourful and yummy, highly recommend!

Forgot part of our order, promised a refund for the items they forgot to send, refund never recieved, avoid.

Awful order meals and they forgot one persons meal phoned them for them to be told no have to have refund I said well means someone has to go without now and it’s there mistake Lady on phones customer service was absolutely disgusting very rude and added insult to the situation never ordering again and will tell my friends and family not to bother either disgusting service
