So much more than we expected - the pictures on the website struggle to convey the tranquility and flawlessness we found here. This was a perfect out of the way experience. The perfectly professional staff were exactly where they needed to be, but never overbearing. The chef made amazing meals every evening, and i would highly recommend watching him prepare one. The swimming pool was lovely. I seriously cannot exaggerate the extent to which the staff turn this place from a lovely stay into the most relaxing few days I've had for a long time!! Jesse, the manager, was particularly smiley and was a lovely welcome to us tired travellers!

A very friendly and welcoming restaurant. We ordered a sharing platter which was quickly delivered to our table. There was an excellent description of the contents and the dips that went with it. It was a delicious lunch and we will most certainly return again.

Someone we know recommended that we come here to try the boba tea. We decided to try the food too and so glad we did! Both ladies who served us were lovely and the food and boba was excellent! My husband has quite a bad wheat allergy which we mentioned and they happily made his food separately and gluten free which was wonderful as he has missed being able to eat at a lot of Asian food places. We couldn’t recommend this place enough!

I have eaten in many of Torquays eateries and was so impressed with our meals at this one. Staff vere very friendly,i took my children for lunch here, a teenage vegetarian and a fussy little one. We all chose noodle bowls, thai chicken, tofu and salt and pepper, and everyone enjoyed their choice, and our bowls were scraped clean (no mean feat with my kids!) Gorgeous ground coffee and really reasonably priced. Cannot recommend enough. This is our new favourite venue. Very very nice food! Just wish it was open at night too.

I hate having to give a low review for what’s clearly a nice family run restaurant but our experience was less than optimal. Given the prices are quite high I don’t think this could be justified without me writing a review and giving some constructive feedback. To start the young waiter is very friendly, but because he is the only one serving he’s rushed. We didn’t get given menus when we were sat down, we were given some about 15 mins later by the older gentleman when he saw we hadn’t been given any yet. The starter took an hour to arrive. When it did it was tasty, but waiting that long for a starter kind of ruins the experience. Because there is only one waiter, there was no one checking if we were ok, or wanted any more drinks while we waited etc- which is what you would expect when the wait time was this long. We then waited another 50ish mins for mains and I didn’t enjoy mine- again the wait time ruined things. Because it was in a stone bowl it remained really hot, and I had to wait another 20 or so minutes for it to cool so I could eat. I get that this is how the dish is traditionally served and it would not have been an issue if the wait time had not been so long- but again the wait time ruined the experience. It looks to be one lady doing all of the cooking so I understand why there was a long wait- but this isn’t the way you can run a modern restaurant, especially when they are charging higher prices thank other similar standard restaurants in the area. They need far more staff in both the kitchen and front of house. The restaurant is also cash only which isn’t the most convenient. Very disappointed, especially because we went out of our way to try this place after hearing good reviews. Update- I’ve thought about this more since writing the review and realised, as has happened at other restaurants, the decent thing to do after we waited so long would be to knock a percentage off the bill or give us some free drinks. Neither were offered. So very disappointed and will stick to my usual spots from now on.

Excellent as all the other reviews say! We were in Gloucester to see an art installation at the Cathedral and fancied something to eat. We had walked past on the way to the event and it looked really inviting, luckily there was a space for 2 despite not booking. Lovely freshly cooked food, friendly and informal service, great atmosphere, really want to go back. Large menu but all freshly cooked. Portions were just right, neither mean nor overwhelming. We are not gluten intolerant but a great place to eat if you are.

A wonderful authentic Thai restaurant with a cosy atmosphere. Excellent, freshly made, high quality food. I strongly recommend getting a variety of dishes to share. They are incredibly accommodating for allergies, dietary requirements (e.g. vegan) and your personal dining preferences. We ordered a few different dishes and they were happy to bring them all out together so it was like a wonderful platter. Thai red and green curries are delicious without a doubt, but I'd recommend trying the massaman curry, tom kha (creamy, coconut milk-based) or tom yum soup (broth based) and the tempura. We also got vegan rice crackers which were pretty colours and were served with sweet chili sauce. I normally don't buy crackers but I'm really glad we got them! I've been to a lot of Thai restaurants after coming back from Thailand and liking the food, and this one really hit the spot! I'm very glad we went there, and I can't wait to go again. We got there when it opened at 5:30 on a Tuesday, and by 6:15 it was completely full, so I'd advise going earlier so you can get a table. But once again, it's just a testament to the taste and quality of the food. Don't eat something you've had before— I'd highly recommend you to take the opportunity to try some authentic Thai cuisine!

Faultless food: honest, proper Thai , cooked with care, huge skill, and nicely presented. Really friendly - Steve and his OH are brilliant - and a cracking vibe in the evening. Thank you for some #excellent# dinners! After eating out with relatives here, on the strength of that, put in a huge takeaway order for work a week later.
