Dragon Inn Chinese Restaurant & Takeaway in Bournemouth

Estoy visitando a mi familia hoy, y mi hermana sugirió probar desde Dragon Inn esta noche, ya que están re-abiertos hoy bajo nueva gestión. Así que hemos pedido Rollos de pato crujiente, alitas de pollo de sal y pimienta, tostadas de langostinos, pollo al curry, Special Chow Mein, patatas fritas de sal y pimienta. Todo cocinado a la perfección. Muy caliente y sabroso. Especialmente ellos no usan MSG ahora. La única desventaja es que su sitio web no está listo para aceptar el pedido, según el nuevo propietario estará listo la próxima semana, lo que es comprensible. Pero sí aceptan el pago con tarjeta en la tienda. En general, mi experiencia para este primer pedido es 10 / 10. Mantenga su buen trabajo nuevo equipo Dragon Inn Volveré de nuevo cuando visite a mi familia. Gracias👍👍

Sadly lacking the rice was over cooked and covered in sauce of some description and noodles tasteless Tasted pre cooked ? And not fresh - wouldn’t recommend or use again ! Sadly a let down for Christmas Eve !

Called after having our order delivered as the beef szechuan wasn’t as we were expecting and was told this is how they serve it and when ordering I asked for it extra hot which also never happened!

When walking into the establishment and were kept waiting 8 minutes until the young chap looked up from playing on his phone to see us waiting. Despite our better judgement at this point (being hungry) we ordered; Quarter crispy duck (very dry duck and prepared at least the day before and the cucumber/spring onion must have been prepared earlier that day) Spare ribs (very poor quality) Singapore noodles (barely a trace of meat and especially prawns) despite all the sauce (including the plum sauce being watered down, the only dish which remotely resemble Chinese was the sweet & sour chicken, just!!!!! Can safely say we will not be ordering here again no matter how hungry we are !!!!!

Well what a disappointing experience. Ordered a delivery and was told it would be 45 mins. 1hour later still not arrives and we had to phone! Was told it would be another 15 mins as there driver had to come back! It took another 30 mins for the delivery to come to which the driver was rude! Then to add insult to injury the food was very disappointing.Special fried rice was clumpy and overcooked with nearly no meat or veg in it just soggy rice and the sweet and sour sauce tasted like lemon sauce with too much salt. Very very disappointed. Will never order from them again.

waited 90 mins for delivery to arrive and when it did it was cold. very poor, will not use again. no sorry, no reason when i called them, very rude delivery driver. its a shame as this place use to be good.

This place has gone right down hill since having a new owner, myself & my family would regularly order from here & it had an amazing vegetarian selection better than most other Chinese in the area, fairly priced, good food, along with lovely staff & the phones would be ringing off the hook however I managed to get through first time every time I called that should have told me something... the guy on the phone was honestly so so lovely when he asked the new owner if I could have a vegetarian selection like they used to do (they have a meat one but not veggie) said I’d pay the same price the owner refused, food arrived in good time but they have not only put the prices up but changed the food we always order the same thing, prawn toast was hard over cooked & awful, the Singapore special fried rice was so spicy even my partner who likes spice said it was too much & tasted awful, the dragon inn special curry had also changed was so watery & just not nice at all ... it’s such a shame because dragon inn when it was with the old owners had such a good reputation & it’s now majorly gone down hill & are now left trying to find a new Chinese takeaway because we will never order from here again

The food from Dragon Inn was amazing, it is our second order and will definitely order again. The only downside was the portion size of the soup being a little on the small side. Sadly the driver could not find our address, so it was delivered a little late but well worth the wait.

Normally so good but the food has been bland over the last couple of visits.

The food delivered was enjoyed by us all. Always tasty and didn’t have to wait long for it.

unfortunately ribs were not properly cooked(had to go in oven for 20 mins) and the sweet & sour saiuce was in the smallest container i've ever seen!

Absolutely brilliant takeaway. Visiting family who live locally to the gem of a Chinese! We ordered over the phone to collect and they said ten minutes until it would be ready. Quick and delicious. Chicken noodle soup and the sweet and sour ribs were the highlight for us! Thanks and we’ll definitely use you in the future!

Proper old school Chinese takeaway! Freshly cooked very large portions delivered piping hot. It was amazing quality! Very reasonable prices. I would order from here again.

The worst food I've ever had. Disgraceful. Ribs were dry and tough, doing rolls undercooked, red curry was some spicy gloopy substance with onions and 2 prawns, duck dish was smelling so bad that went straight to bin. There was more large chunks of onion in that dish than anything else. Avoid like a plague!

Lovely food as always. Although very disappointed with the delivery driver. So rude! Rude enough that I don't think I'll be ordering again, despite this being my go to Chinese!

They gave me pork instead of king prawn but I can’t talk to anyone to correct this as they have ignored me I’m a vegetarian and Muslim I don’t and won’t eat pork I’ve got intouch with the restaurant but they didn’t call back and when I complained to just eat they cut me off, I have learning difficulties dexlexia and couldn’t Wright the complaints properly they told me I was running out of time to complain

Very nice flavours but the meat textures weren’t very nice (very slimy) which was off putting.

Absolutely delicious; hot and great portion sizes. Love the vegetarian duck pancakes so much! A really nice veggie option.

Missed some dishes off the list

They put it delivered but it took another half hour to arrive. mo are punctual. I called the restaurant and they picked up the phone. You lack a paid soda and they did not send it to me and I could not contact you. the food was old the shrimp and fish miy old. I will never buy there again

Great value for money, food very tasty and hot, quick delivery considering it was a busy Saturday night AND thank you for the requested chopsticks for our five year old - he loved them and used them for the whole meal!

Called restaurant to say no veg or beansprouts and good came with both so ended up being wasted

The food was very nice but the order was late and we had to phone the restaurant before we received the food.

Sadly this isn’t the first time the food has been mediocre at best. The beef was tough, pancake rolls were soggy with grease, lacked flavour and was just about tepid. Third strike and out for us.

Came on time. Big order and everything was correct. Only improvement would be label the boxes. But came on time and honoured a specific request.

Really easy to order, I phoned because we’re vegan and asked about dishes. Really tasty, hot dishes and would highly recommend.

Lacking in flavour, prawn crackers were stale and the vegetable spring rolls wasn’t cooked, Chips was ok

Chow mein had little too no flavour, spring rolls were dripping with grease, only saving grace was the salt and pepper chicken. Don't order from here

On a whole very nice and would order again. When ordering Chips ask for them to be cooked last they were cold and soggy. 8 out of 10 from us.

Food was absolutely shocking! Can’t eat it. The mixed seafood chow mien smells so bad my partner won’t even eat it. The fish smells off. The mushroom chow mien is covered in oil. The only nice thing is the samosas

The food is pretty good: you definitely get your money’s worth. The beef chow mein surprised me with how delicious it was. the beef was also very tender and I think I would order this again. I do love a good Chinese take away but I always overestimate with how much I can actually eat 😅 My order also arrived early and i’m sure i received some spring rolls with I did not order. Which was a wonderful surprise :) Next time I order I will with a friend so I can actually finish my dinner !!

The menu choices is extensive with many family favorites. Staff are friendly to talk to and they cater for allergies. Food is prepared and delivered in a timely manner and it tastes great!

The delivery was quick and food was good in general however the dumplings were not freshly cooked, looks like it was pre cook and reheat in microwave and Chinese vinger was missing, lucky I have a bottle at home. There sweet and sour chicken HK style is great as always.

This is the second meal we have had and excellent food once again even though delivered 40 mins early than the requested time but the food was delicious.

The food was lovely, such a shame our delivery driver decided to have a go at us because we didn't hear the doorbell the first time however, it's 40 mins later and our Just Eat tracker says it still hasn't been delivered when it has. A very rude delivery driver!

Fast delivery service but quality of food was poor. Beef was soggy and chewy. Rice was very dry. Chips were dry and old. Such a shame especially with the amount it cost.

The food was very average. Under average I would say. Everything was really dull and generic. The Singapore ‘special’ chow mein tasted like it had a cheap curry powder added. It was bright yellow, I assume from the turmeric but the flavour was really odd. I was very disappointed with the food over all. The pork spring roll was very good though and I highly recommend this. The noodles, rice, ribs you can miss though.

Dragon Inn is definitely our go to Chinese takeaway. The food is always delivered on time (usually early which we LOVE!) and it is always piping hot. The best thing though has to be the quality of the food - it is so so fresh, even the next day!

Just one critics there was hardly any chicken and just one prawn in the noodles.

Ordered at 5 was expecting an hour wait time, doorbell went at 5:20. Very early, food was amazing, only wish they offered a small pot of curry sauce as the pot we got was way too big

We have ordered from here a few times and this will be our regular choice of chinese. Hot when delivered even though they are 2 miles away very tasty. And good choice of dishes.

The food here is great, lots of vegetarian options. We had a brocolli curry, the veggie mixed selection which has the mini spring rolls, satay meat substitute which was not as nice as usual this time as it was duck texture, salt and chilli tofu, seaweed and baby corn in batter. We had chow mein and some fried rice and loved every bit if the meal. The spicy noodles and rice are lovely too. Definitely our favourite Chinese takeaway. Thank you

My first order here ! I would have scored 3 stars for food quality but I found myself chewing on a piece of 'string' in my prawn curry, looked like part of a cleaning cloth, so had to downgrade to 2, some would give 1 for that !! I took a picture but there is no option here to upload. Ordered LARGE singapore rice but received regular, wasnt very singapore either. Thai red curry was average at best. Delivery was half hour late. Apart from that, great meal.....
