What a great evening, food was delicious and the staff so helpful and friendly. From the moment we came in we felt welcomed. I would recommend booking, especially if you want a grill table 😋

It was very busy Sunday evening. It’s nearly full house, Helen was on her own for their services. She very kind to explain how we can drink the rice wine and recommend dishes for us. It was busy but she handle very well and food is amazing. Highly recommend if anyone want to try Korean. Thanks for serving us tonight :) Kimchi is amazing, the chicken soup would be the star of tonight

Nice cosy place, walked late (8.30) in on a Sunday night with no booking, sat and waitress was attentive. Ordered vegetarian non grill options, kimchi noodles, mixed side and glass noodle stir-fry. All tasted nice, clean finish and not greasy. Finished it all and they were good portions. Overall definitely recommend

Good food, great value, lovely staff. If you like Korean BBQ and finding it difficult to get a fix, this place is great. We not in Korea / Japan where there is a much greater selection of meats but what they have is good. Recommendations, have the meats in order of weakest taste first, so i would go pork, steak and last the bulgogi chicken. We also had one of their mains which we shared, the rice tubes, also great.

Friendly staff the experience of grilling the food yourself adds a unique spin on date night it’s a fun and intuitive experience, the food is also very delicious would highly recommend 10/10 my date was happy

I recently visited Korean Grill in Bournemouth for a very special occasion, and I was quite disappointed with the experience. On walking in we was stared down by the workers and others dining in. The worker asked for our booking name in which she had already got wrong. The service was slow, and it took a long time for our orders to be taken and delivered. When the first plates of food finally arrived, we was missing many dishes. The service was terrible, the waitress didn’t bring over dishes and drinks we was missing until we had asked several times. Overall, I expected much more based on the reviews I had read, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to the hype. I probably won't be returning anytime soon. The atmosphere at Korean Grill was also a letdown. It felt overcrowded and noisy, making it hard to enjoy a conversation. The staff seemed too busy to attend to our needs, which added to the frustration. I also noticed that the grill wasn’t cleaned properly between tables, which made me question the overall hygiene of the place. For a restaurant that specializes in Korean BBQ, I expected a better experience in terms of both food quality and service. It’s a shame because I was really looking forward to trying out some delicious Korean cuisine. Improvement needed.

I was really excited to try this Korean grill based on all the hype, but it turned out to be one of the most disappointing dining experiences I’ve had. First off, the service was painfully slow—our server barely came by to check on us, and it took forever just to get the meat we ordered. When it did arrive, it looked far from fresh and was poorly seasoned.

Llegué aquí en una noche encantadora alrededor de las 6 pm, pasamos alrededor de 2 - 3 horas aquí y lo pasamos muy bien. La comida era bastante buena, como era de esperar con la comida coreana era bastante picante, pero eso fue genial! Daikon Kimichi era mi favorito fuera de las guarniciones, pero todos ellos donde bueno. En cuanto a la carne tenemos lengua de buey, pechuga, bulgogi de cerdo y el calamar. Todo era de muy buena calidad y sabía muy bien. Recomiendo encarecidamente las gambas reales fritas, la masa estaba muy bien sazonada y el crujiente era agradable. Bebidas donde también encantador, postre igual de bien. Incluso me dieron helado de vainilla gratis porque no había otra cosa disponible. Servidor se tomó un momento para darse cuenta de si quería ordenar, pero ella estaba sola y estaba bastante lleno, de cualquier manera no avisa una reducción de estrellas. En general encantadora noche, muy recomendable si ya te gusta la barbacoa coreana o quieres probarlo!

Korean Grill went out of their way to get my food to me when there was an issue with the driver, they kept me updated during the process. They are so friendly and the food is always amazing - especially the kimchi which is made fresh and is so good!

Very nice experience, definitely different than any other restaurant where you get your food, eat and go. This here is an experience, to cook your own food in the middle of the table. Fresh ingredients, excellent service. Our favorite were the pork gyozas, the chicken feet and the pork belly.

This place is gorgeous!! The food is to die for. Absolutely gorgeous. My partner and I love it here. The staff is super helpful and the way to order is very easy. Do make a reservation though as walk ins are near impossible especially if you want a grilling table. Atmosphere and smell is amazing too. I 100% recommend this location.

Awesome place to have a Korean BBQ... Or if you like soups, why not try the dry cabbage with beef ribs? Ask for a portion of rice for the broth, you'll need it!

My 3rd time here and the food and service didn't disappoint. It's my go-to Korean grill, and we were given complimentary ice cream after our meal. We had pork belly,steak,prawns,beef bulgogi,egg rice,noodles, etc. All was delicious and fresh. I highly recommend it when in Bournemouth

Delicious food - I really enjoyed my meal here and can't wait to go back. Bit of a weird and inconvenient booking process (you can't book in person, you have to book by phone or online and then wait for someone to email you to confirm), but if you get a table it's a thoroughly enjoyable meal.

Empecemos con las cosas buenas: el restaurante estaba limpio y ordenado, k - vídeo de música pop en el fondo, pero no demasiado fuerte, camarera era atento. Buen precio - pagado £ 72 para una familia de cuatro. El langostino frito coreano (como alternativa al pollo frito coreano) era soberbio y el fideo de soja negra (Jajangmyeon) era decente. No es fácil encontrar un restaurante que sirva este plato tan bueno para ellos! Bits decepcionantes: No tenían pollo disponible, así que si quieres probar pollo frito coreano, pregunta antes de reservar. Pedimos 4 platos principales y 4 guarniciones. Comenzaron a servir los fideos y el arroz primero. ¿Querían que nos comiéramos el arroz solo y toda la carne por separado? Decidimos esperar el resto y tomó 1 hora y 10 minutos de espera total. Bibimbap fue inferior a la media. No sazonado correctamente y el Bulgogi no sabía bien. Imagina comer arroz mezclado con salsa de chile, así es como sabía. Sin profundidad de sabor y las verduras parecían tristes. El único postre coreano en el menú (Hotteok) no estaba disponible ya que “nuestro chef está aprendiendo a hacerlos.” ¿En serio? He estado en este restaurante 2 veces antes y tuve una buena experiencia - y cada vez, me sirvieron Hotteok. Me pregunto si tienen una nueva dirección o chef o ambos. Es una pena que Bournemouth no tenga restaurantes coreanos para elegir y creo que voy a dar unos meses antes de volver a este restaurante. Espero que se esfuercen por mejorar sus platos, especialmente si son el único representante de la comida coreana cocinada en la zona.

My wife ordered online and waited 2 hours even the food was undelivered. She called them many times in the meantime and they don‘t even pick the call.

Been to many korean bbq’s in asia but this one is very different. The portions were very small and expensive. The service was also surprisingly slow seeing as that the food comes un cooked, 45~ mins even though there were only two tables taken at the time. One of our orders was also missed. £90 later we still left hungry and not satisfied. The overall experience was not as expected and I would not recommended to anyone who has had a real korean bbq.

The BBQ restaurant is great! The steak, pork belly, and marinated beef are delicious. Additionally, the soybean paste stew and Korean fried chicken are also very good. The restaurant is located right in the city center, which is very convenient, and it’s about a 20-minute walk to the beach. It’s a very cost-effective Korean restaurant.

Wow amazing taste of Korean food here!! Nice selection of meat and side. Think cut pork belly and brisket beef were just like Korean bbq restaurant in Korea! They bring the Korean original tastes in Bournemouth. Rib bone soup Galbitang was also amazing!! Very kind staff and owner of restaurant was sincere providing good food and service. I’ve eaten at the Korean Grill 3 times now. It has consistently been fresh, delicious and reasonably priced. The staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere of the restaurant is relaxed and very comfortable. The dishes (both grill and mains) are absolutely delicious and a great introduction to Korean cuisine if you’ve not had the pleasure of trying it before. You can tell the food is fresh and authentic. Grilling your own food adds a great layer of fun and bonding with friends and family. I will always recommend this place and will 100% be returning. Please support this business, they deserve all the recognition and reputation!

I went here with my parents and brother around 2 weeks ago and we loved the everything the food was delicious. The service was impeccable as the waiters would answer any questions that we had about the food and of course the atmosphere was great. This was the first time we went to a korean grill and loved everything about it. Will be coming again with friends.

Fantastic food with a great atmosphere. The Japanese girl serving was friendly and explained how to use the BBQ well, even what order the meat should be cooked in for the best results. If you like Kpop there is a TV showing the video of the music being played. Especially appreciated the mix of old and new generations of Kpop. Portion sizes are good and overall the food and experience was well worth the money. It was pretty busy early on so i do recommend booking ahead of time.

Wonderful visit, the best Asian food which I had in Britain. It was genuine Korean food, amazing fried dumplings and decent bibimbap. The only disadvantage was the amount of beef in bibimbap. I even tried to have extra meat for extra money but it was impossible 😔 also very good service - pleasant, helpful waiter and low waiting time.

It is with an absolute regret to give Korean Grill only a star but tonight was supposed to be a lovely dinner partly for my birthday and eating dinner with my two nieces before Summer holiday finishes, there were too many faults, negativities and need such huge improvements. We given the waitress our order at 6:10pm, around 6:45pm waitress told us to put the grill on as the food is arriving in 5 minutes but food didn’t arrive until 7pm. Unfortunately it was a very long wait & we were starving !!! Not sure why it took 50 minutes for raw marinated dishes to come out and side dishes. We noticed there were only 3 ssamjang dishes, instead 5 (as there were 5 of us eating). We got the waitress attention & she replied you only get 3 ssamjang dishes as you ordered 3 plates of meat ( We were very very confused as we came only couple months & 4 of us had ssamjang dish each) as well from many of our previous visits (As there were 5 of us, we had to share the 3 small ssamjang dishes which meant we asked for top up couple times) We had a mix up of the quantities of stew (for some odd reason there were 4 stews ordered instead the usual 1 we always order, we even looked at the order form & even noticed the way 4 was not how my sister writes it) but anyway we had no choice but to accept the order and we told the waitress if it’s ok to have it bagged up & takeaway, Unfortunately the waitress won’t leave it in the kitchen knowing the table had no room whatsoever at all and insisted it has to be left on our table which was rather frustrating as it was crammed as it is and made sense to leave it in the kitchen By 7:45pm, the waitress asked us if we finished eating (in which we said we are still eating) & there were just a small plate of cooked meat leftover which my sister & I were going to tucked into. She then said it’s almost 8pm you got to eat up and pay the bill (WOW WOW)!!! She took my plate & chopstick so I didn’t get the chance to eat the remaining at all. When it came to paying the bill, my sister gave a good constructive feedback & told the waitress that the food arrived 50 minutes after ordering. We had so much food and were still eating but you only gave us 45 minutes to eat our food and rushing us to pay knowing we were still eating. She apologised but I don’t think she really understood it (I/we are aware the grill is only 2 hours slot, but with the food arriving 50 minutes later & had only 45 minutes to eat before told to pay & leave is unacceptable, unfair and pretty shocking especially there were several tables available at that point) They bagged the 3 stew in 1 bag. I decided to take 1 stew out of the 3, so my sister went up to ask for a bag from the waitress & she said sorry we don’t have any bags left. So my sister then went to the other waitress asked for a bag in which she grabbed one for my sister ( and there were plenty of bags therefore not sure why she lied)??? We been to Korean Grill numerous times thoroughout the years, always enjoyed the delicious and tasty food but it is with regret that we won’t come back ever again after tonight visit. Service is absolutely shocking, no common sense whatsoever. Staffs just need to be retrained with better customer service, using their initiative. The restaurant is very very filthy, needs a good dusting, deep clean on skirting boards and as well the toilets. Such a shame as we always loved the food here but the service and restaurant itself is such a big let down

The pork belly and beef tongue here are really delicious, and I especially enjoyed the black bean noodles. The ice cream for dessert is so refreshing. It's the best.

Make sure you have a reservation because this place is absolutely worth it! I came all the way from Southampton just for dinner here, and I can confidently say that the experience was worth the extra train fare. Everything about this restaurant is super great—from the food to the service. I was particularly impressed by the attention to detail, especially with the soju and sake being served in specific, beautifully crafted cups. It added a nice touch to the overall dining experience. Highly recommend!

Tried here for the first time today, and we will be becoming regulars. The food was fabulous and we love the bbq grill in the table concept. Their homemade kimchi was as good as I've tasted anywhere. The sauces were spot on. The service was exceptional, they couldn't do enough for us. We highly recommend the Korean Grill in Old Christchurch Road.

We didnt have a reservation however were quick to be sitted by the lovely hostess. We chose to order off the menu as opposed to the grill your own meat however we were not disappointed! The restaurant was very busy but our orders only took 20 mins to arrive and we were a happy with the food we almost asked for seconds though were so stuffed by the end of the meal. They also gave us complimentary ice cream (vanilla 2 scoops at the end of the meal) which was a good end to the delicious food. I would definitely try the grill your own meat option next time. Lovely food and fantastic service.

Waited 1 hour for a non-grilled food menu. No priority over which table comes first. Customer should be informed beforehand for time expectation. How hard is it to make a kimchi soup with steam rice and some fried chicken? I definitely do not recommend dining here or along this street.

Absolutely amazing place! I would recommend this lovely restaurant to anybody. Unfortunately I didn’t get great photos as the food was eaten and enjoyed very quickly. The two servers were lovely, kind and gentle ladies, who definitely deserve appreciation and they have a lot of mine, they were helping us wherever we needed and made us feel so welcomed as they were doing to everyone who walked in, even when there were no tables left due to it being so busy (and rightfully so) the ladies were so kind when communicating with people. The restaurant itself is cozy, comfortable and cute, with great Korean music in the background. The food was out of this world delicious, we had a table grill and had pork bulgogi and spicy squid bulgogi, the lovely server helped us with the grill also. We also had steamed rice, dumplings, kimchi dumplings and kimchi. All of it was outstanding. The kimchi dumplings have my heart! All of this food with very generous portion sizes was definitely worth the money. With quality and quantity. It’s absolutely a good price, not overpriced at all. Overall, the people were lovely, the restaurant is clean, cute and cozy, the experience of grilling your own food was so fun and the food was unworldly! If you’re thinking of eating here, consider no more, just do it. I can’t think of one flaw here, we will be back! I will confidently say one of, if not, the best restaurant we have been to.

The food at Korean Grill is great. We missed Korean food so much, and Korean Grill definitely brings us back to Korea. We had the kalbi, BBQ pork, fried clear noodles, and dumplings. If we weren't with kids, we would have also ordered the spicy squid for the grill. We loved all the food we ordered. The clear noodles with the slightly sweet sauce are so good, and they also go well with the spicy sauce for the grill. The kids loved the BBQ pork and dumplings the most. The kalbi, with a ribbon of fat, is perfect when eaten with rice and seaweed. Adding a bit of kimchi makes it a perfect match.

Been here many times, but was just out for mine and my twin brother’s birthday. Kim was an amazing server and made us feel very welcome. Food and atmosphere was great as always

Really great food, very friendly sercice with excellent advice also for those not so familiar with Korean food. Frequented also by Koreans, which seems to confirm the authenticity of this place

Absolutely fantastic food at a fairly reasonable price. Wanted more when we finished. Service was incredibly slow sadly waited well over an hour before getting our food and drinks. Restaurant was really busy though. You really do need to book in advance on website. Tried phoning intially but no answer.

Friendly staff and nice food. It was my first time experiencing kbbq so I dont have a great reference point but I very much enjoyed the experience and the waitress was very nice and helpful.

Some of the best food I've ever eaten. A wonderful little restaurant with a great atmosphere and attractive prices. We were served by Kim, who provided amazing service. Will definitely be going again
