Winton Tandoori in Bournemouth

Been a number of times always had a lovely meal with great cheery service

very good quality and tasty food, but unfortunately had to reheat in microwave as the meal was a little cold

Preordered at 6pm for a delivery time of 8pm to coincide with work schedule. Still arrived 20 mins late no update for this only when we requested a time update through app. Food was average at best and all needed heating up

Delivery driver for Winton Tandoori is always chirpy and pleasant, the food is great quality and tastes amazing. The price is decent too.

Little bit late today Due to traffic but always order from here and the food is delicious and always hot when it arrives even today when late.

Great tasty food. Lovely friendly staff. We'll return again and again.

Winton Tandoori is always great. Curry is always delicious and the option to add naga chili if you need that extra burn level is very much appreciated. Always delivered hot and on time. The restaurant itself is always a good place to go with friendly staff and a nice atmosphere.

Llegó el miércoles por la noche como su oferta especial de £ 12. 95 por 3 platos. El servicio es bueno, pero desafortunadamente todos nosotros tuvimos estómagos dudosos esa noche y estuvimos despiertos toda la noche en el baño, uno de nuestra fiesta no pudo ir a trabajar al día siguiente. Todos los currys sabían igual y muy dulces. Muy dulce. Tal vez el menú a la carta es mejor, pero se fue después de la cena un poco decepcionado, pero esto aumentó masivamente después de nuestras noches llenas de eventos en el inodoro para confirmar que ninguno de nosotros volvería de nuevo.

The food literally had no flavour, it was like bland soup with lumps of meat. If this is their standard I’ll never order from here again

Been going to the Winton Tandoori for years, and I can assure you that you will not find a curry house better than here! Brilliant people and amazing food!

Amazing. The Minty Asari Lamb Tikka is the best!

Had a take away delivered. Food was really bland. All round. Korma was mostly sauce. Biriani was full of peas.

Food was cold. Nan bread was doughy and poppadom was soft. Not sure what happened tonight as this is my go to Indian and tonight was awful.

Another Superb Indian Takeaway , was still warm when delivered. 5Star

Gave it a second chance this week and have no idea how this is a 4.6 totally inedible lamb so tough you won’t digest it. Nan bread and taka dall the only thing that was good. Chicken biriani was like fried rice and tasteless sag aloo the same. Will not try again ever wish I could post photos even looks bland

Absolutely delicious, hot and half an hour early

The food was okay, which is not bad but isn't great either. Nothing stood out of the ordinary, the only complaint is that the lamb was very tough and difficult to chew.

Sat by the door and all noise and plates dropped my experience. Aside of those and the fact that I'm in front of a toilet 🪠 it was beautiful.

Quick delivery and top chap who answers the phone to take order. Best biriyani around and super hot balti is immense. Been to a few local Indians now and this is the best hands down

Winton Tandori is always excellent, but this day it was utterly superb. I do not know if they have changed recipies or ingedients, but it was truly sublime today.

Really annoying becuase the food was cold!

Waited 1.5hr for our order, so called the restaurant. They told us the delivery driver knocked on the door/ called but left because he couldn’t get in touch with us. We said that no one had knocked, or called. The guy we spoke to was very rude, told us that we needed to come and pick it up/ there was nothing he could do. He spoke to his manager, called us back and confirmed redelivery. Waited another 30 mins (total wait time 2 hrs) for freezing cold, average food. The delivery driver was knocking on the neighbours door the whole time.

I have been visiting this restaurant for many years now. The food is always beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious. Service is second to none and the staff are always very friendly. It is a nice quiet restaurant and always nice and clean.

First time takeaway and very impressed! Arrived on time, spiced perfectly for my palette and good sized portions. Friendly delivery man. Couldn’t ask for more! Will be returning soon.

Avoid.. 9th January.. 2024 I regret ordering from this takeaway.. I ordered boiled rice.. arrived cold.. I ordered the lamb tikka.. Lamb was ultra tough.. I couldn't chew no sauce.. Loads of onions.. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.. Paul

the items that I ordered were very tasty, but I had to put it in the microwave for a few minutes, as the food was just warm and the nanny was cold!

Disappointed with tandoori shaslik not worth the money @ £12.95 bulked out with a large tomato and big chunks of pepper....7 thumb nail sizes of meat....more of a starter. Other items are nothing special, not up to normal standard, also 20 min late

This has to be the worst meal we have had from here. The chicken tasted rubbery and tasted as if it was going off. Try somewhere else next time. Really surprised as normally very nice.

The food was delivered piping hot. The lamb pathia was spicy and succulent and the prawn korma was sweet and creamy. Perfect. The delivery was half an hour late but they did update the app with the new timings so I was kept aware of the delay.

Wonderful tasty food. Friendly delivery person. I was sharing lemon rice with my wife though the last time I had lemon rice at a different place it wasn't overly nice and quite bitter. This lemon rice was utterly lovely with a sweetness which beautifully balanced the bitter lemon rind flavour. The portions were also ideal - not too large and not to small. I hate food waste and can seldom finish a meal if the portion is too large. I finished the meal I had hear and absolutely adored it.

Fantastic food and staff. Menu was explained and the recommendations were fantastic value and delicious. Staff attentive but not overly so.

Everything we ordered was very tasty and great value too. It was our first visit and we'll certainly come back, and bring friends. The only tiny niggle was that the staff were so quick at taking away our plates, that we didn't get to mop up the last little bits of each dish... Not that we really needed to, as we were rather stuffed, but still it was sad to watch the food go away!

Fist time we have been there, imacculate place, I assume its been refurbished. Extensive menu, great food very good staff, not too expensive, really enjoyed our meal. Will definitely return and would recommend the restaurant to any family or friend. Went tonight food excellent really busy glad we got in early. Excellent meal ofter go their. Got a takeaway tonight very enjoyable, same again last night had a takeaway after football. No still the same excellent food and great staff, and owner

Tough one this. The curry, as usual. Was perfect! But the only let down was that the chips & naan bread were stone cold. No real complaint though as was easy enough to warm up.

Dry tandoori mixed grill. And overcharged me £5 which I didn't realise until I got home. Onlu good thing is that it was quick. Will stick to Ali's Brasserie next time.

Really delicious Indian food. If there was one thing it would be I ordered two popadoms, but received just one. Lovely delivery driver, food arrived earlier than anticipated and was piping hit.
