This is a wonderful takeaway but we didn't realise it wasn't a sit down restaurant any more. But the lovely ladies let us sit down and we ate our fill with some of the best food we have ever eaten. Definitely enjoyed the momo platter and the curries are to die for. Definitely coming back!

Food was amazing This place is a great find, it’s not much to look at but the food was amazing It was a quiet night so we, with the other couple, were the only people in there so the food came out quickly It was piping hot and absolutely delicious Can’t really say much more but 100% you need to give this place a try

My God, this place is a really hidden jewel of delicious food hidden within a somewhat uncared for row of high street shops. Do not let the appearance put you off because once within it would deserve a Michelin star, if such a thing existed for Asian food. The cook is an absolute genius with an amazing blend of spices and delicate tastes magically interwoven. I'm struggling to find the adjectives to do justice to the food but when I suggested to my brother that it's better than any Indian restaurant I've ever been too, he agreed. I ordered some spicy dishes and he had a mild dish but I loved the sauce his food was in too. Do not hesitate to go to this restaurant. Lastly, if you're looking for vegetarian or vegan food then a variety of these options are also available.

Upon walking in, the waitress was incredibly kind and served us so nicely. When the food was ready, there wasn’t any napkins or knifes and forks as we were getting a takeout. We then asked the other waitress if we could please get napkins and knifes and forks. By this point she was talking with her friends and had been from The time we walked in. She then gave us a cold look and seemed really annoyed that we asked her something while she was talking with her friends. She then replied and said ‘ we just got chopsticks ‘ . The food portions are incredibly small and the taste was quite bland. For a restaurant it seemed a little weird that they only had chopsticks as we don’t know How to eat with chopsticks and I’m sure not everyone does either so we struggled to eat our food. Will not be going back.

Haldi is a very welcoming restaurant, very friendly staff. The restaurant is small and compact split into 2 halves. The tables are always very well presented with crisp white table cloths and napkins. On this occasion my daughter and I chose a takeaway. We live in a neighbouring village. They offer a free delivery service within a certain radius. We had onion bhajis to start, we only needed one each as they were huge and delicious. For our mains we had the chicken korma and and king prawn palak, along with mushroom rice, poppadoms and naan bread. Our dishes were very generous and absolutely delicious. I also think very reasonably priced. £41.00 for all that we ate. This restaurant never fails so deliver and also as a takeaway. Thank you so much Shelim and your staff. Highly recommend

This has to be the best Indian in Bicester. The food is absolutely delicious and with huge portions. If you've not been, I would highly recommend you do. We normally have takeaway which is also amazing but decided to visit as a pre holiday treat and it did not disappoint.

Had a very enjoyable evening, arrived early as we decided to sample some of the cocktails and the reception team were excellent and couldn't have done more to help. Went into the restaurant, initial service very good and honest assessments when asking on whether we should have starters with duck or extra rice etc. Duck appertiser was excellent, mains also good. Disappointments were they let our wine run out without topping up, not a big deal if the wine is within nearby but it's not! Finally caught the eye of the sommelier to have the top up. Then coming to have the bill paid took far too long and when I commented on the issue with the delay it wasn't acknowledged. I would say the issue is I think we had 3 servers, bring it to one and then you won't feel like they forgot you. But we will be back so all in an excellent just a shame at the end.
