The best restaurants serving Asian food in South East

We had an amazing dining experience here! The variety of dishes we ordered were not only vibrant in color but bursting with authentic flavors. The dal was rich and comforting, perfectly seasoned and paired beautifully with the fragrant, well-spiced fried rice. The butter chicken was creamy and indulgent, with tender meat and a luscious tomato-based sauce. The okra (bhindi masala) was fresh and cooked just right—flavorful without being overly oily. The side condiments like the yogurt raita and pickled salad added a refreshing balance to the meal. Each dish tasted homemade and full of care. You can tell the chefs know what they’re doing. A special mention to Eddy, our waiter, who served us with such warmth and attentiveness. He made sure we were comfortable throughout and added to the overall great experience. Service, ambiance, and flavors were all on point. Highly recommend if you’re craving authentic Nepalese or Indian food!

Worst costumer service, We called ahead to order and went to the restaurant to dine in. We asked two staff members for ice water—waited 20 minutes, but no one brought it. Only three customers were inside, already eating, yet our food wasn’t even started. Staff kept coming to our table like we hadn’t ordered before. They didn’t know we understood the language and were talking about us. Very rude, unorganized, and unprofessional. Never going back.

We have been going to this restaurant for years and have loved it. However. it seems to have changed ownership. We arrived at 515pm and there were only 2 other people in the restaurant. There were three of us and we ordered drinks, starters and main courses which were lovely. The restaurant had filled up by the time we had finished, and the woman who seemed to be in charge came up to us and said we need the table!! She didn't ask if we wanted coffee or dessert, we were basically told to leave and we hadn't even been there an hour. Such a rude person with no customer service, We shall not return.

This place has a fantastic reputation for food and is consistently busy. A recent visit left me very underwhelmed. Food was average and prices toppish. All perfectly edible, but nothing special. The tofu was horrible and I left it. No one asked why. Won't be going back. The branch in Eastbourne is meant to be better.

Not only do they provide the best food but go over & beyond on delivery, even when I had my mum's address at Harbour in there instead of where they usually deliver Quarters. Absolutely faultless, thank you so much & see you next time!

Yet again another fantastic visit to surrey palace The food was outstanding so tasty the chicken was so succulent. Service and staff absolutely amazing So friendly and welcoming! Thank you guys. Will be back soon.!

Well cooked and top quality food

Absolutely great night. Made to feel welcome by the Team. Half of our party didn’t arrive but the that wasn’t not a problem. Food was great and service good. Don’t let the entrance and decoration fool you into believing that Namaste Johney Gurkha is caught in time in a time freeze and expect a lot of hammered Paras coming in. The food and service is 100%. Highly recommended.

Ordered a takeaway Sunday evening food delivered was awful chicken like rubber sauce burnt looked like it had been reheated several times naan bread doughy and wet in texture mint sauce half full onion bhajis not much better £25 what a waste even charge over a £1 for the bag rang to complain not interested accused of being threatening when I said will review on trip advisor , also said food was not burnt as it’s a gravy ?? Looked and tasted burnt to me .why are they still advertising under cove tandoori , never again £25 nothing to them it was to me

If you are Thai lover don’t eat here and don’t Order food. One of the worst restaurant in Aylesbury. They don’t even respond.
