Pho was great, relatively large portions, nice athmosphere.

Great experience, we really enjoyed our meal. Ordered prawn crackers, starters and mains, just too much so couldn’t finish. Cocktails were good too. The team on the floor were great.

They served me and my friends cold food and I had diarrhea when I got home.

Staff were seemingly friendly. The starter was well flavoured but a little dry. That's where the good stops, the broth of both phos were bland, the noodle dish was very oily and half was cold and the other half hot. Would not come here again.

Loved the Hot & Spicy Brisket Pho

1st time at this chain of restaurants, popped into Canterbury for mooch and lunch, beef brisket classic curry - beautiful full of flavour coconut base and you can choose cauliflower rice instead of white rice, husband had the chicken spicy soup and really enjoyed it, we also ordered a portion of prawn crackers. I will definitely visit this chain again if there is one in town when next visiting somewhere. Staff polite and helpful, speedy service

Normally good but food took ages to arrive and was given to other customers arriving long after us. Servers took 30 minutes to give us bill and we had to ask twice before it was finally given

Daughter loves the food here and brought me for the first time. Food was okay but the service was shambolic, comically disengaged and surly - straight from the school of Basil Fawlty - by all bar one guy, who was rushed off his feat. How we all envied those tables! Four servers were vying to seat customers before returning to the door and standing at ease crowding it out less than 10 feet away from our section, all chatting/staring into the middle distance or taking turns walking very fast down the middle of the restaurant and back with their own drinks, all the better for all that standing and chatting, I suppose. Meanwhile one guy worked from the far end of the restaurant and never stopped serving.. up our end It appeared to be a needle match between the four servers hanging out amongst themselves by the door on who can ignore the top end tables the longest. We honestly had no idea who our server was supposed to be and neither did those around us, in no man’s land. We had plenty of time to take this all in as the tables in our sections were actively ignored…. We checked with our fellow diners. It became a running joke. After 20 minutes we had to catch one of the speeding drifters on passing who was clearly displeased about having to take an order. Perhaps she lost a bet? Server was impatient, snappish and short. We made sure to be unfailingly polite, in comic stark contrast. We were congratulated on getting someone by our fellow, equally neglected diners. We were now all in this together. It was the same for trying to order additional drinks and the bill, a game of catch them if you can. Nobody had their tables checked in on, nobody had waited less than 15 mins before ordering, queries were not responded to. Don’t bother with this place if you have allergies, or wish to order more food or drinks. Paying takes nerves of steel. Finally, after one last hopeful glance and smile to draw one of them in, it took several attempts, we managed to request the bill. To be Rewarded with the card machine slammed onto the table before the server literally turned her back and left without a word, all the better to be further ignored. She did the same to those around us. It wasn’t personal. We completed the transaction ourselves and had to just… leave the card payment unit on the table…? No receipt opportunity with this self serve vibe but my card was charged so there’s that I suppose. We made sure to mention the card machine was there to one of the fab impassive four on our way out. They did not seem bothered nor made any attempt to fetch it. Definitely some kind of bet going on, we thought as we escaped. Our order was wrong but it was not worth trying to tell anybody as they hated being distracted from all that standing, drinking and chatting by the door. Do not try this place unless you enjoy a lived in experience of comically bad service. Which you then have to pay for. In a heavily competitive restaurant scene I don’t see this place lasting long unless someone sorts out the professionalism of its serving staff. None of them were young. This wasn’t immaturity, It’s not cheap and Canterbury is used to better, engaged service even on the most basic level and gets it everywhere else. If you want a chain, go to Wagamama’s instead. There was little point telling anyone on the day, who on earth would we have told?

Wow I have never seen such double standards place . We were sit in menus arrived and you needed magnifying glasses to be able to read the Menu as the lighting is designed for youn couple to canoodle rather then paying customers to enjoy a night out. Ordered a beer we are out of it , for the purpose of people reading my review As a Former Director of 4/5 hotels and award winning restaurants currently retired, the first thing you do you brief your team and train how to inform the customers and make their dinner pleasant. We ordered baby squid and beef rolls for starter . Squid delusion and beef dry and awful. Main course I ordered King prawn soup noodles and my wife Chicken noodles soup mine fresh plump and delicious her chicken was cooked summer 2021 dry and disgusting. . We asked for the bill machine was brought in no question was everything ok I even mentioned the quality of my wife’s food . Just process the payment no receipt.Hello this is Britain we have please and thank you here not treated like dogs . To summerised and add insult to injury the tables were wiped out with the napkins that earlier the customers were using to wipe their mouth. Hygiene Zero .You use de sinniteser to wipe off germs. I want be going back I do not understand how this people are allowed to trade with such poor standards.

The food was good: classic noodle soup with beef and king prawns. Staff: Fast and friendly. Prices: Ok, but 15% tip is default. Too much in my opinion.

My partner and I have been here for our second visit and it was even better than the first! The chicken wings are sublime, the spicy dipping sauce was hot but also flavoursome and the the vietnamese pancake that my partner had was also really nicely done. I went for the Curry Pho with beef and it was absolutely lovely, I could have eaten another! Loads of beef and noodles, not stingy like some places we've been and her not chicken wok noodles were incredible. Cocktail menu is extensive and very different to the normal stuff and it was well sampled by us, verdict was they are sublime! Service was second to none, friendly and helpful staff, overall a fantastic meal out for not a massive bill! Will be going again for sure!

Mediocre is the best way to describe this Vietnamese restaurant. The food is very average, service is poor ( never deliver any tap-water we asked! No one come around once to ask “how are things going? Is food tasted alright? We also can tell The bean sprout are not too fresh at all. (I took a photo of it)! I understand the difficulty of running a Vietnamese restaurant in Canterbury, but the service can be train and no excuse for foreign flavor or delicacy!

We had lunch a busy Sunday in this restaurant. We ordered for starter the summer spring rolls but we were disappointed. We had this started before in another Vietnamese restaurant and had high expectations. Unfortunately this one wasn’t even made from fresh ingredients. Moreover we were waiting for long our mains, it took them over fifteen minutes to serve mains after we finished the starters. My main was better than the starter but to be honest nothing great. I wouldn’t visit this restaurant for second time. On positives was the kindness of staff.

Big disappointment! My salad was full of chili, even though there was none of it on the menu. When I ordered, I asked the waitress whether the salad was spicy, and she said no. My tip: If you don't like chili, you should definitely say that you have an allergy. Because the menu and service don't help here. There is loud music inside, the service is friendly but has no interest in the guest. Basically just quick turnaround.

Amazing food, authentic, fresh and delicious. Warm welcome and incredible service from Gaia who was so helpful in helping with selections and providing information regarding the menu. So refreshing to be served by a young lady who clearly enjoys meeting people. Well done Pho.

As a Vietnamese, with all due respect, I find the food here extremely disappointing. Bun Bo Hue (Spicy Beef Brisket with Bun Noodles) was too oily and it lacked the signature flavour of lemongrass and shrimp paste of the dish. I understand it’s difficult to replicate, but with dried lemongrass, you could still come very close to the real thing. Also, the noodles were undercooked. Definitely not worth a retour for me. However, in all fairness, I gave four stars to the friendly staff!

I come here regularly and am always impressed with the delicious food and quality service by the staff. I’d like to mention Aaron specifically as he is always so kind, funny and professional whenever I come in, even if he is not our waiter. This service is what makes us keep coming back! The perfect place for a tasty meal and a good time.

Easily mine and my partners favourite place to go for dinner. Excellent quality food, and a good price as well. We are often served by Aaron, who frequently gives us recommendations and gives a fantastic experience every time we visit. We will (of course) be back! Very disappointed!! Order crispy spring rolls was okay. Then order wok stir fried chicken and beef. They were oilly and beef were chewy. We didn't finished them. Checked bill and went for another restaurant.

Pho Canterbury never disappoints! I’ve dined here multiple times, and each visit is consistently amazing. The pho is incredibly flavorful with rich, aromatic broth and perfectly cooked noodles. The fresh ingredients really stand out, making every bite a delight. The staff are always warm, welcoming, and attentive, which adds to the overall experience. The food was delicious but the service was extremely lacking. We had two small kids and had to ask to place our orders after a lot of attempted signalling, got told the crepe would take 15, fine, bizarrely it comes in under 10 with the fresh rolls but then it’s over 50 minutes since we sat that we still haven’t had the kids egg rice, pho or salad delivered. I chase and order prawn crackers for the kids to try and get them something. Pretty sure half our order was forgotten. None of the staff seemed to be aware, dishes left on table for ages and half the meal missing. The food was great but wouldn’t recommend for young families..

Fantastic Pho, highly recommend the brisket over chicken for your Pho, the pomelo salad was weird but in a good way. Don’t forget fish sauce! Service was quick and the food was super fresh

Went here prior to going to the theatre. We told them we were a little tight for time and the service was brilliant! I shared some crispy pork spring rolls and they were delicious. They were a starter but we asked for them with our main course due to our time restraints and they happily obliged. I had a main of Classic curry with king prawns and it was absolutely wonderful. Thick creamy sauce with huge prawns which was fragrant, tasty, filling and just the right amount of spicy heat. I can't wait to go back!

We had a nice evening at Pho restaurant and enjoyed our food. The waitresses Viola and Holly were the best, friendly and fast and made as feel at ease.

The five stars that the place would have deserved both from the point of view of the food, both for the dishes served and for the kindness and cheerfulness of the staff, are miserably lost due to the very high cost: consider that a dinner here costs more than average restaurant in London, in Canterbury however the prices are generally much lower. Pho which is a traditional Vietnamese dish soup is presented in multiple variations and it is possible to combine it with other traditional Vietnamese dishes with many veg and vegan foods.

Amazing food and great staff!!!

Our most recent visit was excellent. The food was very good; the portions were large, hot, and of very good quality (I highly recommend the squid as a starter and the prawn curry/vermicelli noodles as a main. The current staff are very friendly and accommodating alongside a good atmosphere to dine in with family or friends. The manager went above and beyond to ensure a great experience after a previous issue, which we really appreciated, and made us feel valued as long-term customers. Thanks!

The soup of my wife and older daughter was good and also the noodles of the younger one. I did not like my fried rice though. The spring rolls were good though. That is why I only give 4 stars. The service was good. The restaurants interior was good and the bathrooms clean. I did not like that the air conditioning was quite cold even though it was not hot outside. In general a good experience.

This is the first time I had a very bad experience at this restaurant. The customer service was terrible as most of them seemed uninterested in doing their job, bordering on rude. The orders were not the right ones. I ordered a vegan plate, specifying very clearly, twice, it needed to be vegan. Choosing very carefully what I wanted to be added, and looking and the basics ingredients of the dish. I was not that worried since I had eaten at this specific restaurant quite few times. The dish arrived with actual chicken and shrimps. I place it in the center of the table, waiting for someone to approach us since making hand gestures didn’t have any kind of results and not one of the waiters came to inquire why it was untouched. No one stopped to ask if we needed anything. Fed up with the lack of proper service, we asked 3 different people to bring the check, since we wanted to leave. It took about 45 minutes for a new person to approach the table and ask if we were ready for the bill. Highly disappointing experience. Again, the prior experiences were positive, which makes this one glaringly standing out. I’m not sure I will be going there or ordering anytime soon

Nice place but way too much chilli’s added to all foods making them virtually inedible

Came here as a Vietnamese pho lover and was a little disappointed by their Beef Combo Pho. The broth itself is delicious but everything else falls short for me. The brisket is like pulled pork and unlike anything I have ever had in a pho (not good). The steak is cut way too thick and was very chewy. The meatballs are too salty and don’t have the right texture or flavour of an authentic pho Bo.

2nd time I have been here. First time for the wife and her words were "one of the best meals I have had". Spicy beef brisket curry is a must. Pork crispy spring rolls are banging with the peanut sauce.

Very tasty Pho, nice drinks. They have a kids menu to pick from and draw on. The pho could have been a bit more spiced.

Popped in yesterday, and had such a great time with my partner. We had opted for the summer special dish it was grilled fish with noodles and dill which is my personal favourite, and love to see it in dishes. Had a spicy lychee cocktail made by Filippo which had pretty incredible taste as well! Definitely be back!

Came for dinner so that I could have the Banh Xeo. Tables were a bit tight, but the service was friendly and efficient. The Pho soups were served a bit lukewarm, but taste-wise they were not too bad. The cha gios were good and I liked that they offered a choice of sauces to go with.

I loved the place, I am allergic to tomatoes and it is difficult for me to find interesting restaurants with dishes without tomatoes. This restaurant has very delicious, varied and innovative dishes, especially the multivitamin smoothies that they make homemade. Also, excellent service from the staff and they were very kind explaining the dishes to me. I will definitely return, thank you.

The pho broth is very good and the service is great. The summer rolls are also great, with a yummy dipping sauce. However, the meats are not the best. The steak in the steak pho is sliced thick, making it very hard to chew. The brisket in the brisket pho is not cut against the grain, making it quite tough. The meatballs in the combo pho are overcooked and crumbly. I hope this can be improved ☺️

Fodd was way less than average. Warmish and tasteless. The vegetable that comes with noodles was not covered and was on a the counter and anyone and anything can have an access to it. These vegetables looked so old and not fresh. The waitresses were rude, they kept whispering and looking at me. It was a very unpleasant experience. One of the waitresses put the meal angrily and dropped the chopstick from the table. I needed to ask for cutlery, water more than once. It was an awful experience. Never again. I never ask to remove the service charge regardless of how the experience is bad but I did ask them to remove it this time because of the waitresses attitude. The fit young waitress refused to bring me the bill and asked the big waitress to go to help me and I was there standing waiting for them to come over. Awful girls and they haven’t been trained for customer service.

So i ordered baby squid crab noodles soup and Tea from lemongrass. The baby squid was lovely i loved the sauce they given me, in crab noodles i didnt really understand where crab was but they tasted good, and tea I cant say anything about tea but one thing tea was natural I actually had like 3 pieces of lemongrass in my cup. 5 stars love their food
