Ordered first time ,just moved to the are and have to say I am very happy about this food. Delivered hot, very tasty , proper proportion between meat and sauce , full of flavour, giving 5 stars plus 👏👌. Will be ordering again soon . Thank you very much 👏

I have ordered from this place about 5 times now but never got round to leaving a review. Where do I start, the chicken morisha was absolutely delicious, very flavoursome and hot. The naan was the best naan I ever had, fresh and good size. Other takeaways naans are soggy and deflated. Having tried the local competition, this takeaway is far superior in every shape and form. You can tell they only use the best chicken and meat and it’s so fresh. If you haven’t tried this place - your loss really!

Excellent quality mains and sides - the paratha was pretty inedible.

Wrong nan bread delivered .Plain nan bread and meat was burnt .I already made a note tho still didn’t checked the note .

I ordered food at 7.42pm, was expecting delivery at 8.40pm. Got a notification at 9.05pm that the order had left the restaurant so I wasn't too worried about the delay, except I had to wait another 40 minutes to get my order having called the restaurant twice. Upon delivery I was offered no explanation or apology, and the food may have been nice if it wasn't cold by the time it reached me. As a regular customer I am not impressed and very disappointed.

Our order was delayed and by the time we good our food we had heat it up in the oven as it was all cold we didn’t delete until 22:25. Best curry house in town and we live 5 mins away yet it took 2 hours to get to us. Re are regulars but you’ve lost a customer due to delivery time and the order being cold

I ordered a takeaway which included chicken tikka. As a pretty standard dish, I hoped it would be good. However, I could not cut it with my knife – it was simply undercooked. Chicken which is not cooked properly is really dangerous, so I phoned them, and they brought me a replacement. I specifically asked them to make sure it was cooked through thoroughly. Unfortunately, the replacement was exactly the same, tough and inedible. This was so disappointing, and even though they were very nice about it and brought me a replacement very quickly, it clearly had not been cooked properly. This has put me off ordering again.

Tried this Indian takeaway on my visit to Canterbury this past May. The folks running it are pretty decent, and the prices are reasonable. The food was okay, but the aloo gobi was a bit too oily. The rice could have been given in a smaller quantity as well. Overall the service was okay, but the food quality can be a bit better.

Took over 1.5 hours for delivery, really poor!

It was a really bad experience. The food was bland and very oily. Keema naam was the worst. There was barely any stuffing and what was had no taste whatsoever.

Though they gave me 3 garlic naans instead of 3 vegetable naans and coconut rice instead of pilau rice, they were quick to send someone around to make good on their mistake.

Missing my rice of my order phoned up to ask about the it was told the driver was there and ready to leave to bring the rest of my food half hour goes past call again and was told there waiting for a driver and got ignored when called another half hour later finally and hour and half after I called about my food my rice arrived very unhappy as waited to have our rice before our food ended up having to eat it cold without rice not what you want after a long day at work

Half of my order was missing phoned time and time again nearly 2 hours later the rest arrived

First time ordering from here and I was not disappointed! I Was recommended to try the Chicken Morisha by the gent on the phone, and it was to die for. As a northerner, I know a good curry when I see one! The portion was perfect, plenty of chicken and just the right amount of spice! Will definitely be ordering again when I’m back in the area.

I’ve ordered the chicken tikka masala and it was too sweet and it had bits of coconuts which I do mind because they didn’t state the coconuts in the description

Would have given this 5 stars as food was delicious, but their tandor oven clearly needs replacing as we had bits of it stuck to the back of our naan breads, huge chunky bits of what seemed like concrete… luckily I narrowly avoided biting down on a big piece but it was like eating sand!!!

Food was ordered and delivered about 70 mins later. Was luke warm when turned up and forgot the naan bread. Phoned up to say the bread was forgotten, they just offered it off the next one but seeing this was the first and probably last time I would order I did not want that. I asked for a refund but that seemed very difficult to acheive and they would call me back. Not had a callback and would probably not order again as it was nice enough food, not very hot by the time it got delivered and the fact that stuff was not there that should have been, was a bit. Disappointed.

Edit 04/03/2024 - really annoyed. Food taken more than an hour and a half and still not here. The guy on the phone just keeps saying its on its way. He doesn't speak clearly, its not the usual guy, maybe change of ownership?. Will update when (if?) food actually arrives........well the order took nearly 2 hours - driver very apologetic and said that the other driver was off sick. Food was nice when it did arrive. Might give them another chance! Previous:- Always have a delivery from here when we have Indian food. Its always good and when they tell you how long its going to be, it does actually arrive when they say! Lovely.

Absolutely appreciated the food and delivery

The korma is overly sweet with the only taste being its sweetness and overwhelming coconut, labelled under the audacious title of traditional dishes. The chicken bhuna isn't quite as bad but also has no distinctive flavour with a tinge of blandness. The 'mix starter' was nice surprisingly however with good flavour and juicy meat. There were no problem with delivery service or arrival speeds. The samosas were okay, can't complain but not noteworthy either. TLDR; Don't consider it.

Ordered from here a couple of times now and found the food to be the best curry I’ve had in Canterbury. I order veggie curries, and the mix of veg is good. Good arrived within an hour and hot. No complaints.

Food came out a few minutes after waiting which was ok but the restauranteur took too long printing a VAT receipt. Food was getting cold. Food was average ok. 3 out 5.

This was our go-to takeaway, but it now turns up late and cold with dishes missing. The quality and quantity of meat in the dishes has drastically decreased. Customer service isn't what it once was either. Such a shame as over the last 5 years I must have over 100 takeaways from them but the last few months have been such a let-down.

Tried them.out again today as they did hold out an olive branch, onlly to wait again well over two hours. That was the last chance saloon Used the Cinnemon for 13 years. Since its changed hands in the last couple of weeks, we have had the worst 3 takeaways ever. The first order we had was a total different taste, you could tell the chef had changed. Vgave them the benefit of the doubt and re ordered. Late delivery and when it finally arrived, the rice dishes were missing. When we called to complain we got told that we could have them on our next order. Certainly wasn't going to have a curry without rice. Ordered again tonight at 7.17pm and it has just arrived at 9.03pm again the order was short, one of the main dishes chicken tikka comes with a salad but it was missing. I will never use Cinnemon again

Wow! Ordered easily over the phone after having problems online. The delivery to Chartham was so quick. The food was piping hot and very tasty and great portion size too. Highly recommend.

Anytime we place an order on a Saturday we have the best experience. This is the best curry restaurant in Canterbury, but it’s not always consistent…weekday experiences are not as good as on a Saturday. This evening we had the best meal we’ve had in 15+ years!

My chicken wasn't cooked all the way through and it was cold the narn was also soggy and under cooked. When I attempted to speak to the restaurant about this they didn't offer to resend the food or refund me! In fact they said I'm just a complainer several times and hung up on me! Disgusting food disgraceful service!!!!

For takeaway curry this is the best in town. I always order different curry dishes and have never been disappointed. Having tried a few different takeaways in the area I will always go here. The chicken tikka chilli masala is great 👍

Got our order wrong, but that’s not the biggest problem we had a long presumably female hair in our alo paratha which made me vomit upon seeing this.

Chose this restaurant as it was able to deliver. A typical oder of chicken dansak, chicken korma, pilau rice, bhaji and poppadoms. Food arrived on time and hot enough to serve straightaway. Both curries were delicious with seemingly good quality chicken used. Generous portions too.

Gone right down hill, religiously used these for a few years, now I use the new one up the road, shame as they were great, now watery, paps not fresh, I gave them a second go as thought it was one duff meal and unfortunately not, spoke to some friends and family that I recommended here over the years and they also said it had gone down hill and they don’t use them now 🥲

First Indian we've tried in Canterbury and it's the last, no point trying to find somewhere better - it won't exist! Everything was tasty, delivered precisely when they said it would and the driver was very pleasant

I do not often write reviews in fear that the business I review gets so busy that the service drops.... but I can not, not post a review on this AMAZING restaurant!!! For over 1 year most weeks we have a take away from here and have ALWAYS had consistent and absolutely gorgeous food from this place!! You can order online... And they deliver on time. I always recommend Cinnamon to friends and family who are now solid customers and love their food too!!

Alright. Let me preface this by saying that I am an American. I do understand the palate in the UK is very different. I'm writing this review for other the benefit of American tourists such as myself. I ordered Chicken Tikka masala (national dish), chicken passanda, and saag paneer. They were all overwhelmingly sweet. Think sweet potatoes or butternut squash on Thanksgiving day. They tasted strongly of coconut, even though the descriptions said they were made with cream and yogurt. The spices were literally undetectable. When I say spices, I mean flavor, not heat level. In the US, these dishes are savory and well seasoned even when made with no heat level. This was honestly a shocking experience. I'm giving 3 stars because I do understand this is the norm in this area, reviews at other Indian places near by mentioned extremely sweet dishes as well. The delivery was quick and free, and the restaurant didn't do anything wrong. But in my heart it was honestly a 1.

Normally ok but tonight awful naan bread came like a biscuit when I rang got me confused with another customer and told me I ordered it well done , sent another one out but arrived 25 minutes later so sent both back , gone downhill since first started using them will not be going again .

Smashing takeaway and probably the best in Canterbury. Everything is brand-spanking fresh and full of spice. Hot does mean hot, they don't muck about like some takeaways. Polite delivery drivers provide a speedy service. Most of the packaging is recyclable, bar the plastic outer bag and the bag for chaptis, perhaps they can improve that shortly. Good portions and decent value for money. Overall you won't be disappointed here.

Delivery was quick and food taste fresh but it is way too sweet. I had the chicken tikka masala and the sag paneer . Both were sweet and I can't taste the spices. Would love to know what to try next time and I love spices and heat.

Our whole family had a takeaway from Cinnamon this evening, having tried multiple other Indian takeaway's in Canterbury since moving here and we can honestly say it was amazing. The delivery took a little longer than expected but it was worth the wait and miles better than the others we have tried. Will definitely be using them from now on!

Frequently order from cinnamon and have very rarely encountered any issues. Food is delicious.

Arrived ahead of time but that is about it. The prawns were gritty and should have been in the biryani not the rice. The garlic rice was oily with no garlic taste. The biryani was well cooked but had no flavour. The Onion Bhaji was a flat pancake not a ball.There was a pot of something white that we didn't recognise.

Our food was delivered about 20 minutes late - we were telephoned to ask where we were even though we have had deliveries from here many times. Ordered £45 of food, probably only £10 edible - the rice was ok. The chicken in 2 meals was terrible, very tough and therefore inedible. The food was only luke warm so not eaten - who wants to eat barely warm curry? When I phoned to let the restautant know, they said they were busy so that's why our food was late and the chicken was the same in all of the dishes. When I explained that this wasn't the case, they begrudgingly offered 10% off our next order. I won't be taking them up on this. Very disappointed as we've had good food from them in the past. They need to "up their game".

Ordered a take-away during 'lockdown' - I haven't had an Indian/ Bangladeshi take-away in Canterbury for ages because they've all been so awful. I was recommended here by a friend and can comfortably say it's really authentic and full of flavour. Delivered exactly on time time, to the minute, steaming hot and really good portion sizes. The meats were really well marinated and perfectly cooked and really good, rich sauces. The staff were polite and helpful when I ordered and the same when delivering. I will definitely be ordering from here again.

Excellent when you collect but when ordered for delivery still waiting a hour and 40 minutes later and still not here no doubt it’ll be cold by then too so don’t order for delivery you’ll be waiting hours

By far the best Indian in Canterbury. I have tried most of the menu and I have loved every dish. Tonight I tried some hot dishes and unlike other takeaways the heat didn't overpower the flavour. IF YOU HAVENT TRIED CINNAMON, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

Cinnamon is the best Indian in Canterbury ! They have an extensive menu worth discovering ! And last but not least, their take - away packaging is acceptable . No plastic boxes !! Aluminium boxes the old way ! Makes ordering a takeaway a responsible choice at the same time !

I order the same dish almost every weekend and it always taste authentic and amazing. A bit of a wait for delivery but totally worth it. Their customer service on the phone is very friendly and efficient. 5/5 would definitely recommend to my asian pals looking for some proper Indian food.

Been here several times, food good, but the way customers are treated has got worse, one time the money was grabbed from hand, I commented on this, another time waited over 10 minutes for my order to be taken, half way through taking my order the guy threw his pen down and walked away !!! Someone else then carried on taking it. Not impressed !!!!!!!!

Ordered online and in-store, when taking orders I had to repeat myself a few times due to the language barrier. The food arrived pipping ware on occasion, however sometimes had to top them in the oven to warm up. The flavour of the curries and side orders where nice and the spiced rice.

We order from here pretty regularly - once or twice a month. I don't think we've had a bad meal or even a bad dish. My wife and I are very big fans of Indian food - we cook quite a lot of it ourselves and have tried a wide variety of restaurants and this one ranks pretty highly for us. The two highlights are: 1) the quality of the food - they do everything well and have some really interesting dishes you don't see everywhere like chicken/lamb achari (which is a must try BTW). 2) the delivery speed is always very good in our experience - things tend to come very quickly (mostly well before the estimate) Obviously very important in a delivery takeaway since it means the food is fresh and decently hot. It's not too pricey either. Thumbs up to this one.

Disgusting service from the boss hassan today . Went to pay with an old but still in service till 30th june 20 quid note (still legal tender) and they refused to except it saying the banks no longer take them . What a load of rubbish . I even googled the bank of england to prove it but he still said no . Maybe they should get there facts right before refusing payment .
