The best restaurants serving Asian food in Southampton South East

Have been going to MI Rice for a couple of years now. Never had a bad experience. The food is fantastic, freshly made, fresh ingredients, and if you close you eyes you would believe you are in Asia somewhere in a local restaurant. Have tried several dishes but keep going back for the Spicy Pulled Pork Soup Based Noodles, where you have a choice of noodles to go for. Go for the large portion and if you are brave, you can up the spice by two levels. Not got passed level one. Great value and takes me about 40 minutes to eat and it stays hot the whole time. Friendly and efficient staff.

My first time there, foor was brilliant, 2 beef bimbimbap and one tofu were delicious and the chicken was by far the best chicken ever. We don't get take away regularly but this will be our new favourite. Fantastic customer service.

Excellent restaurant never been disappointed, always a great welcome brilliant atmosphere fantastic food just so welcoming had a lovely meal again, was very tasty perfect heat and lovely vegetables be back soon

The food was very good, just the right size portions, just a tad on the dear side of things, but highly recommend a visit. You won’t be disappointed!

Fast service, good broth from the pho noodles, it was perfect portion for me , but then again I eat little and can get full fast , so the large bowl serving might be a bit less for others. Other than that , it was a really good experience. Can't wait to come back next time.

Had a very enjoyable evening, arrived early as we decided to sample some of the cocktails and the reception team were excellent and couldn't have done more to help. Went into the restaurant, initial service very good and honest assessments when asking on whether we should have starters with duck or extra rice etc. Duck appertiser was excellent, mains also good. Disappointments were they let our wine run out without topping up, not a big deal if the wine is within nearby but it's not!Finally caught the eye of the sommelier to have the top up. Then coming to have the bill paid took far too long and when I commented on the issue with the delay it wasn't acknowledged. I would say the issue is I think we had 3 servers, bring it to one and then you won't feel like they forgot you. But we will be back so all in an excellent just a shame at the end.

I bought a cake something, ,velvet,,. Fantastic! Thank you! Not too sweet, just petfect! My coworkers loved it.

This might be the best takeaway in Southampton.... Definitely the best I've had anywhere. Generous portions, delicious selection, lovely service. Would recommend!!

food was pretty tasteless, I asked for extra hot (the dish was already hot) but it was sweet instead. my partners dish was equally disappointing. in afraid this was a pretty poor choice for a curry.

Garbage. Ordered a 'traditional chicken curry with 2 naans'. The box of curry was three-quarters full only. 2-3 pieces of chicken tasted alright but the rest of the pieces had an old/funny taste. Typical out-of-the-freezer old chicken taste. The curry itself was equivalent of a Co-op shelf quality. Very mediocre. I don't know how these guys are surviving. I've had authentic Indian meals and this place does not come close. This is the second time I've had an issue. Thought I'd give them a chance - not again.

I went today but closed this restaurant. I inquired at the shop next door and he said it was closed for a few months or two 😑

Very disappointing. The restaurant was beautiful and the waiter was very attentive, however the food itself was terrible, so much so we left most of it. The chicken was very processed and the sauces we lacking flavour. Also extremely expensive. Wouldn't eat here again ☹

Four of us, while staying in a local hotel for the night, ready for a cruise the next day, decided not to eat in the hotel but instead go out for dinner and picked this local restaurant. It was early on a Thursday evening so not to busy, but booked online just in case. We arrived, we're greeted warmly, showed to our table then looked after very well for the duration of our meal. The service was excellent, and the food style was a little different to what I and the rest of the party have eaten before which made it different but ultimately the best Indian meal that all of us have eaten in a long time. A great restaurant, just a shame I can't give it a higher rating.
