My first time there, foor was brilliant, 2 beef bimbimbap and one tofu were delicious and the chicken was by far the best chicken ever. We don't get take away regularly but this will be our new favourite. Fantastic customer service.

This is the best take away ever! Beautifully authentic, reasonably priced, and generous portions. All that, and thats before i talk about the taste. By far the best thai in the UK. Great team, really friendly and an absolute must have!

Sadly couldn’t eat here as I have a sesame allergy and was told it was in all their oil. Thai is normally a good choice for me.

Pedimos comida para llevar de deliveryoo y estábamos tan decepcionados. La comida era en general muy sosa. Las galletas de langostinos estaban rancias y masticables. Pedí los rollos de primavera de carne que estaban bien, pero no muy tradicionales y hechos con pastelería de filo y no papel de arroz. Mi compañero pidió bollo cha con salchicha vietnamita, pero no había suficiente salsa para mojar y la salchicha era muy sosa. Pedí el pollo y el curry de langostinos que sabía a curry de patatas fritas y tanto el pollo como los langostinos estaban demasiado cocinados.

We hosted our Christmas party here this year. There were 13 of us in the group and we did an amazing cocktail making masterclass before enjoying a fantastic dinner. We were so well looked after and the experience was top class from the food quality to the service!

Very tasty food with excellent service. The venue could do with some money spent on the décor however this is a minor complaint.

How to describe Basmati. It's Southampton's humble Nepalese restaurant, where every single dish will make you return to try more. 5 stars for everything I've tried, and every time I've been there. The meat dishes, all the vegetarian options, the literally mouth-watering lamb momos (how much artistry can fit in a little momo? Basmati has the answer), the amazing peshwari naans. The service is always impeccable, the staff (perhaps owners) are lovely, kind, and always friendly. The food comes in good and right time, with warm plates ahead of serving the main part of the meal. The prices are such a good value for money, both for the amazing, homemaking-level good quality and for the portions. You will not leave hungry and you'll have eaten well. It's another reason why the restaurant is so popular with everyone. The atmosphere is always calm and inviting, with lovely folk Nepalese music in the background. In conclusion, I've been eating at Basmati for years, and I always bring friends and family who visit the city at this very restaurant. Thank you Basmati ☺️ P.S.: please kindly start offering the modhu murgh in a vegetarian option too, because the sauce is out of this world.

Had food here tonight absolutely amazing the food was lovely ,prob one the best currys I've had if not the best ,the onion bhaji was delicious the staff where great all happy smiling and couldn't do enough for you ,highly recommend this place and we will definitely be returning Thanks guys xx

Spent just under 30 pounds on a food place I use to love, this order was terrible and inedible, food was cold considering i live 8 minutes away aswell its a complete joke and definitely should not be this cold. (onion&mushroom bajjis, half tandoori chicken, naan, rice all cold. the lamb tikka was the worst I've ever had! Chips was like they was still frozen! The only thing a little warm was the chicken tikka massala. And to top it off it was the first time my partner trying his first Indian which was embarrassing safe to say he won't have one ever again. This place use to be great now it's disgusting
