Was in Southampton for a night stopover and so glad I found this place. The food is so good and authentic, people are nice and love the Malaysian chinese radio playing in the background!! Happy Singaporean here!!!

Pleasant surprise in Southampton! The very kind owner welcomed us and looked after us with attention and passion. Amazing, freshly cooked food. The dumplings and noodles with any seasoning among those offered are highly recommended.

Came in for dinner on a Saturday - by the time we left all tables were taken -a good sign. We found this restaurant to serve fresh food at moderate prices and we were very impressed with the dishes we ordered. The gentleman who was our server was very friendly and helpful which always adds to the positive experience that we had. Would definitely recommend and would become a go to place if we lived there.,

This is an excellent place to eat Asian food. The food is delicious. There is also a good value for money. The service is fantastic. If you visit Southampton, go and try it by yourself. If you live I Southampton and never tried, give it a go!

There's no argument about the quality of the food or the service, and the restaurant is spotless, but portions are small and prices high especially if you try the street food menu. Given that the restaurant is in a very seedy part of Southampton it's hard to see how the prices hold up. The takeaway however is much better value.

We were in Southampton for a concert at St Mary's and have visited this restaurant 5 years ago. The food is amazing and the staff are lovely.

Loved the food, lots of flavour. Spring rolls tasted home made and delicious. The deep Fried pineapple took me back to my childhood. Wished I lived closer!

Went for a pre show lunch. Good food. Freshly cooked and rapid service. Server friendly and efficient.

The food was spot on and so was the service. Had pork chow mein and egg fried rice. The wife had mandarin chicken and stir fry vegetables. Every dish was really tasty. If you like Chinese food then try this place

Loved my curry noodles. It was the best laksa I had in years. Full of meat and tofu in coconut chilli soup. Delicious. Hubby had the chicken noodles. Also very delicious.

Fabulous food, really tasty and very fresh, lovely flavours and you know it’s been prepared in the kitchen as opposed to chucked in an over. Thoroughly recommend.

The owners are very nice, unfortunately the food was the most ordinary we’ve ever had. My soup had a thick layer of grease , which had infused all vegetables. My husband’s dish was ok, but far from authentic and aromatic….

The best place for Chinese food in Southampton. They reduced their amount of food now. Miss the large portions.

To say I’m obsessed with the food from this restaurant would be an understatement! I will never eat from another Malaysian/Chinese restaurant again. High quality, delicious food and most importantly not greasy. A***

This place is operated by Malaysians and you can tell their Malay food is very authentic. Very cozy decor and friendly owner, would recommend.

Really tasty and authentic Malaysian food in Southampton. We ordered peppercorn chicken bites (pic 1) as starter; Fusion special mixed meat and veg stir fry with egg fried rice(pic 2); spicy curry soup with noodle (咖喱米粉汤-pic 3) and flavoured Malaysia pork ribs curry(香辣马来咖喱排骨-pic 4). All dishes were delicious and well presented. They didn't add any service charge but with their friendly service, it's definitely worth some tips. Will definitely go back when we crave for Malaysian street food.

Wow. What a discovery. Nasi Goreng my favourite. Have tried many different items hmmm Mmm delicious and quick. A nice cool G&T while being prepared.

Tucked out of the way, but it's a diamond! Lacks a little atmosphere because people don't know its there! Food is amazing and service is fab.

I used to eat here back in Uni once a week about 2008. In the area 2023 and decided to have my old favourite. It's great to see the menu hasn't changed, as the portions sizes are generous and the food tastes great!

Honestly, my partner and I considered not following my job to Bristol because it means we would be further away from this food. It needs more stars, all the awards. The venue and looks do not do this restaurant the justice for the food here. 14/10.

Not great. Under cooked chips and 'chicken' satay that was very poor quality meat. Others had more authentic Chinese meals and said they were OK.

Came across the Fusion Noodle Bar, and went yesterday evening based on online comments. What a great decision. Lovely freshly cooked and tasty food, the place has a lovely vibe and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Will definitely return and can only highly recommend it.

So I just ordered my usual meal from fusion noodle bar, and I have to say the food is always spot on! So tasty and fresh can't recommend this restaurant/takeaway enough... they always remember my chopsticks even when I don't, the staff are always so friendly and just lovely people

We had a late lunch here today. Our meal was delicious! We tried the Beef Ho Fun, Nasi Goreng, and Mei Goreng. All were very enjoyable. Since it was late in the afternoon, we were the only customers. The staff was very attentive. Happy to have found this restaurant in Southampton!

Great place with amazing authentic food.

Overall a pleasant experience dining at this shop, though being Malaysian, I do have a few quirks on the food. Nasi Lemak - Overall well done. Rice is fragrant, chicken curry is tender and flavourful. Only downside is the supposedly 'sambal' aka spicy shrimp paste which was completely different from the one you would get back in Malaysia. The sambal was more of a chili sauce cooked together with onions and prawn rather than actual shrimp paste. Curry noodle - Curry soup lacks the creamy consistency of the coconut milk and lack of the punch from curry paste, and was by far among the dishes ate, had the biggest deviation of flavour from the original. Prawn noodle - Overall good as well. Soup is relatively well stewed with the distinct prawn flavour present but slightly bland. More salt would be perfect.

Absolutely supurb food, probably one of the best Asian restaurants in southampton. On the down side, it is pretty expensive. Definately increased their prices quite substantially so sadly cant use this beautiful restaurant as much as i would like.

Me and my parents have been coming to this restaurant for years and for good reason! The quality of food served here is excellent. The service is also incredible, we are ALWAYS greeted and said goodbye to with a smile - the staff are so welcoming and the owner is kind, he always recognises my mum and her name when we come in to eat. The restaurant itself is so clean and I have no worries about hygiene when I eat here. Food is always brought out quickly and efficiently, though for the quality I’d happily wait! The food itself tastes incredible and even with a big menu, quality is consistent! My favourites are the salt and pepper squid, (though with my weak palette, I usually have to ask for no chillis….) grilled peking dumplings with the delicious vinegar dipping sauce they serve with it, and the fusion special of course! The meats are always tender and soft, and the prawns are juicy and properly prepared, being deveined. We love this restaurant and hope to come here long into the future. With great food and kind staff, what’s not to love? Highly recommend.

The interior is very laconic. If you are lucky, you will enjoy Chinese food in silence and solitude, but do not prolong this moment, because at any moment you can find yourself in the noise stream of the “Chinese market”, it is very tasty.. if you do not quite understand the ingredients - the waiter will help you. Really good food. My family and I put the Fusion Noodle Bar through its paces trying 5 different appetisers, mains and 3 desserts. I sampled everything and every dish we ordered was exceptional and served very quickly. They're closing soon until August, but when they're back open, we'd definitely recommend them.

Based on reviews I visited for a takeaway. The gentleman front of house was very pleasant and helpful, the seating area was simple but spotless. Ordered Lemon chicken, egg fried rice and Singapore noodles. All dishes were very, very good! Not a scrap left. I will definitely be visiting again.

Noticed this place on Saturday, popped in on Sunday early evening. Wow, what a relaxing atmosphere. And amazing, tasty, fresh, hot food! Fantastic service from both staff who took my order & served me. Really friendly, happy, helpful & masked up. Tasteful décor, clean & understated but classy. Nothing garish, nothing loud, nothing to ruin the atmosphere. I chose for the Singapore fried rice, the Kam Hiong chicken & the lady who took my order kindly recommended the peppercorn ribs. I was not disappointed!! 🤩 All dishes were cooked & brought out pretty quickly, roughly the same time. Perfect. Classic presentation, clean crockery & cutlery. Each dish extremely tasty. Heavenly food. Followed up with a cappucino, then banana fritters with vanilla ice cream. Absolute compliments to the chef & all staff for the food, service & dining experience. My new favourite place - and it's right nearby to me. Definitely a place to bring friends & family to - or do takeaway/delivery from! 💯🙏🏽👍🏽🥡🍜🍚 THANK YOU FUSION NOODLE BAR. 10/10.

Lovely restaurant. Delicious food and fast, friendly service. Kung Po King Prawn and Malaysian Curry Prawn were great.

After reading the reviews we were really keen and Fusion Noodle did not dissapoint. We ordered a lot of food from the malaysian menu and every single dish was delicious. The staff are really lovely too and welcoming. Can't wait to go back and order everything we didn't the first time round!

We went as a party of four, two vegetarians and one very fussy eater but all of us absolutely loved the food. The salt and pepper broccoli is to die for! But every dish was absolutely gorgeous and the staff were very flexible in ensuring that our veggie needs were catered for (so no fish sauce) and adapting the menu to suit. The carnivores were over the moon with their choices too. For people wanting specifics, we had salt and pepper broccoli, crispy seaweed, veggie spring rolls and satay vegetables (for the veggies) and a mixed starter platter for the meat eaters. We then had vegetarian Singapore fried rice and vegetarian Malaysian curry (for the veggies) and Thai chicken curry, Fusion special (which had duck, chicken, beef and prawns) and fried rice for the carnivores. I would highly recommend this hidden gem, particularly for eating in, We will definitely be back very soon! PS £62 per couple including three rounds of wine/beers each so very good value. The staff were exceptional, so welcoming and friendly, and that really topped off a lovely evening,

Fusion noodle bar is by far the best oriental food outlet in Southampton. Tonight I decided on Malaysian mixed meat curry, mixed meat chow mein and mushroom rice. The curry was stunning with the sauce made perfectly, the meat cooked extremely well and it was so tasty. The chow mein wasn't greasy and again the meat was perfect ... A lovely dish. The rice was fluffy and well cooked and was a taste sensation. It was new years eve and I had to wait a while for the delivery but that's not their fault, more mine for not ordering earlier. In total the cost was about £20 which in my eyes represented excellent value. Highly recommended and you can also dine in which is a great experience 👍

Delicious. Experienced chef brings authentic flavours to Southampton. I tried the mapo tofu, spicy King prawns, choi sum, sweet and sour chicken and salted fish pork belly. All were excellent. Despite being Malaysian, I'm always a fan of sweet and sour chicken. The batter was crispy and the sauce was just the right balance of sweet and sour. Yum. Wish there was one in London. Would definitely try other dishes next time I'm in southhampton.

Authentic Malaysian cuisine who uses real imported ingredients to recreate flavours found in Malaysia. They even have fried Ice cream, a Malaysian specialty. The drive is friendly and efficient even for a Friday night. Been here many times and will be back soon.

Great food, great service, lovely staff - I thoroughly recommend Fusion Noodle Bar. There is a good range of classic Malaysian dishes (I can recommend the CKT) complemented by a range of other pan-asian/noodle dishes. I'd been looking for somewhere to eat the things I've missed from my time in Malaysia, and I'm glad I came across this place. Thanks!

This place was recommended to me. The two dishes I chose Peppercorn Chicken Bites as a starter & Roasted Duck as a main course they where so fresh & very flavoursome. Not a lover of Chinese but I was very impresssed with the quality of food & great service too. My husbands dishes I didn't like but wouldn't have chosen those anyway! We came unplanned but really glad we did. The service was good and food came fairly quickly. Don’t be put off by the fact it is a little further out of the centre and may not be busy as it is 100% worth visiting. The waiter ensured that the vegetarian spring rolls, salt and pepper tofu, chow mein and black bean vegetables was suitable for me to eat as a vegan and the salt and pepper tofu was incredible. We chose the main options which came with either rice or noodles (choice of udon, rice and chow mein was good also) and the potions were great for the price. Will definitely be returning.

Pretty good! I think their asian food are quite delicious and it is worth a try if you are missing the taste of Asia or just want a quick meal to go. The location is abit off town but it is someplace that you should try once if you are in Southampton for an extended period. I enjoyed it and would be back soon if I can!

Easily the best Chinese takeaway in Southampton with lots of variety. I’d highly recommend the peppercorn broccoli, and the Malaysian curries! The vegetarian duck in black bean sauce is also delicious. Lovely friendly staff too!
