The best restaurants serving Asian food in Castle Leicester East Midlands

I have been wanting to go here. And finally did! Small cosy restaurant. Wonderful staff, brilliant service and food was amazing. Would like to go again but seems to be closed when we pass by.

I work over the road from here & went here for lunch. I had the samosa chat which was nice & tasty. Staff are friendly & helpful & explain what items are on the menu if you don't know what they are. It's vegetarian & cheap food too.

Food was spot on, absolutely delicious! The baos were unbelievable, staff were friendly and the food arrived quickly and was hot. Definitely would advise anyone visiting Leamington to visit if you fancy a great place to eat.

Overcharged, added a service charge without asking, food cold and flavourless, i got ill after eating there.

WORST INDIAN MEAL I HAVE EVER BEEN COOKED IN 53 YEARS. KING PRAWNS TINY AND LIKE BULLETS FOR 15 QUID AND DISH INEDIBLE DUE TO SALT CONTENT, NOTHING LIKE A VINDALOO NO SPICE LEVEL OR CITRUS FLAVOURS, AWFUL. NANS DRY AS A BONE AND £9 BIRYANI WAS A SMALL BOWL OF VEG RICE WHEN ASKED WHERE THE SIDE CURRY WAS THEY SAID THEY DIDNT SERVE LIKE THAT AND IT CAME WITH A TINY POT OF WHAT TASTED LIKE COLESLAW. VERY RUDE WHEN RAISED HOW POOR THE FOOD WAS, ASKS THEM TO TRY OR THE CHEF TO TRY THE SAUCE TO CONFIRM IT WAS CLEARLY OVERLY SALTED BUT THEY WOULDNT. SAID I SHOULD HAVE RAISED IT EARLIER, BUT NO CHECK BACK SO HOW COME KNOCK ON THE KITCHEN DOOR! PLEASE PLEASE EVERYONE WITH TASTEBUDS THAT APPRECIATES A GOOD CURRY..... AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

Firstly, the manager denied I had booked a table. I explained that I had booked online and followed up by phone. He found the booking, clearly marked, and said ‘oh, you’re last’. His attitude then and throughout the meal was surly and abrupt. The other staff were polite and attentive. The food was tasty, but the portions were meagre. A main course chicken sizzler consisted of 4 small pieces of chicken. I spoke with the manager about his attitude as we left. His was not apologetic and just said that the restaurant was busy. A busy restaurant, heaven forbid! I pointed out that he could be busy and polite at the same time. A couple at the table next to us overheard my conversation and said that he had been rude to them also. My friends and I won’t be returning.

server was completely dismissal to me but nice to the couple infront who were muslim... discriminatory how can you run a business when you pick and choose who to be nice too.. + the toilets absolutely disgusting and unclean. Would never step here again.

A dining experience of two extremes. I'll start with the positives. Food was freshly prepared, service fine, cleanliness lacking. 8/10 - my son's sea bass with special rice, yummy. 3/10 - my chicken Karahi with two naans. An undercooked inedible drumstick, a wing, a couple of other bits of chicken just about edible. I felt these were the cheapest bits of a chicken. All presented in an all too fatty, almost tasteless curry sauce. Naans underdone, hence unenjoyable too. Probably the worst chicken curry I ever ate.
