The best restaurants serving Arabian food in South West

Took my vegan son for a birthday lunch on his recommendation... then took my friends back soon after! Delicious food, reasonably priced, friendly staff and lovely authentic decor ... looking for an excuse to return asap!

Sweet little restaurant, the two owners are always very friendly and accommodating, always short waiting times and delicious food.

We had such a delicious lunch today at Joe’s new cafe in Bideford. We love visiting Morocco, and we were delighted to discover this little gem today after being recommended by a friend. Joe, from Morocco himself, is clearly proud of the food he prepares, and everything was made using herbs and spices he brings back from home when he visits. We started with mint tea, and the aroma took us straight back to the medina in Marrakech. We thoroughly enjoyed the home baked bread alongside the different fresh salads he prepared, and a delightful Mackerel dish. We finished off with a lovely slice of homemade lemon and lime cake. Joe himself was incredibly friendly, and we very much enjoyed chatting with him over lunch. Can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu, it all sounds so delicious! ¡Qué suerte tenemos de que este increíble restaurante haya venido a Poole! Comí aquí anoche y la comida, los sabores y el ambiente eran excelentes y los precios razonables. Tenía el plato vegetariano y mi marido, el shish de cordero. Bebimos cerveza libanesa y vino de la casa, ambos buenos. Estoy seguro de que este se convertirá en nuestro nuevo restaurante local favorito. Muchas gracias ☺️

Service and atmosphere is lovely, however the young girls behind the counter need barista training. The coffees are not great and they don’t seem to know how to make different types of coffees.

Made an order online. Called to amend this and restaurant denied receiving order or payment. Repeated amended order and by the time of collection they claimed not to have been paid or received the order. Had to show online order confirmation and bank receipt to get food. Also ended up paying for the full order and not the revised one. When the staff tell you not to use their own website to book and pay for food there must be a problem. The name has also changed above the door. Food was OK but not as good as the last time I ate there.

This kebab house has gone down hill lately, had a lamb doner and chicken done, they were both cold and the chicken had a very funny taste to it.

We have been to Old station twice now and both visits have been amazing! Food was great, staff was fantastic, and banter from one of the chefs which makes the atmosphere amazing. The staff in general are amazing, friendly, chatty, and polite. Would really recommend if you want awesome food.

Great food, best Indian food we've had for some time. My Daughter is vegan often put off by Indian food, however the staff went above and beyond to adjust the ingredients and even did this all off their own backs... Customer Service you rarely find in todays world!

The food was very tasty but late delivery … I’m waiting almost 2h for my food …. I order at 16:00 when they open and I receive the food at almost 18 o clock …….

One of the best places for foodies in Tewkesbury. I tried almost everything and I must say it's difficult to beat the taste of Tarquaz kebab.

I came here peak covid 2020 xmas and found it to be amazing. I returned to the area in 2025 and the signs had changed and looked a lot nicer outside and inside so expected it to have changed! The lamb doner is the best I’ve personally had! So smooth and went down an absolute treat! I introduced it to our friends who were equally impressed! 7 of us ate it and not one moan! I went back a few days later again and I am going back again tonight because it’s that good!

Very bad attitude & service. This place has gone down hill. Waited an hour to then be told my order was cancelled.

Most of the order was missing; upon calling the restaurant, we were told by the manager that he would contact the driver; some 30 minutes later and a further call, we were told that the staff could not help at all as the manager was out on delivery. Nobody got back to us and no refund/credit. The part of the order that was delivered was cold. We have been using Khans regularly over a year, but will not be ordering again—appalling customer service.
