Enjoyed a takeaway here. Nothing wrong with it. Just not incredible. Very affordable though and very quick. Great choice if you're just after something simple.

This restaurant offers something different, a mix of Asian dishes. all cooked to perfection, the lime Pickle is the best i have ever tasted. Its a very clean and welcoming place, staff are great and the food is awesome.

Absolutely delightful...by far my favourite take away. Thankyou.😊

Lovely food here! Service was excellent too. Perfectly cooked poppadoms with a large pickle selection, beautiful cooked Chicken Tikka Bhuna & Lamb Darjeeling Curry with Tadka Dhal and Nan Bread. Fabulous, fabulous food and worth a visit!!

My partner has a dairy allergy so we went in store to ask if it was possible to make any alterations. The team were beyond helpful! They offered several alternatives, none of which were on the menu just to cater for us and ensure we were able to order. It’s rare to find somewhere so accommodating and helpful and the end result was absolutely delicious! Quick cook time, very good prices and full of flavour, will be back for sure! - Cheers 🙌🏻

Absolutely terrible service. 2 hour wait for a delivery of overpriced, poor quality food.

The service was friendly and there was a discount for cash (ordering in shop or collection) too. The Indian food was really nice and was a good amount too. The only let down was the size of the chip portion, very, very small and the size of about half a handful which took up one corner of a paper bag. Would have been five stars if it wasn’t for this : (

Holidaying nearby so give it a try. Had a ch tikka rogan josh, wife had king prawn rogan josh, shared a mushroom rice, shared onion bhaji starter an bombay potatoes. All food was delicious but the main curries were very runny if anything. Bhajis size of golf balls but still nice. Nice to see them make the food which was a bonus.

We walked into this nearly full restaurant on a Saturday night. The waiter immediately cleaned a table for us by a window. He was the most thorough cleaner I have experienced, even wiping the chairs. Thank you. When he brought our orders, he called them out dish by dish. Very nice manners and great service. Food was tasty and the price was reasonable. I would recommend.

The curry was very nice and looked good too. It is not cheap though at £15 for just the curry, add rice, Poppadoms and a Nan bread and you looking at £25 per person without drinks.

Been here many times for our Indian takeaways, we've collected and had delivery before. Tonight we ordered for delivery in Christchurch, they were ten minutes early which was great as i was hungry, and again the food was very tasty, great value and even extra poppadoms when I asked for one which was amazing too. Highly recommended and the best Indian takeaway around 100%

Fantastic Takeaway you can see food being prepared. Food was fantastic more than enough infact spare for lunch the next day. Price was excellent we had the Banquet for 2 only £22.50. I would pay double in London. Thank you all at The Indian Ocean

Had a meal delivered to our hotel, very tasty and hot best Indian I have had for ages, the tikka was tender nice curry and the mixed kebab starter was fabulous, definitely recommend.

I ordered food from Uber Eats. The delivery was on time as per the ETA. Food taste was not that great. I had ordered Chicken curry but it was more like tomato gravy. I ordered Biryani rice but the rice was not cooked properly. Food was OK but not exceptional. You can eat if you don't have other options.

When ordering, I wrote that we are vegan and please no dairy and no egg. I also chose dishes that didn't have milk or egg as allergens listed. Yet my main dish had a whole egg in it 😱. I'm just happy I'm not an allergy sufferer. So yeah, if you are vegan or have food allergies, beware. Otherwise the food was quite nice, very fatty.

Always go to a nearby take a way, which is always great. Why?did we do it? Meat was dry & black in places where it was over cooked, starters were dry & tough. We ordered early was this from yesterday's menu? Very disappointed, sorry Sajid Spice we will return

We've had a takeaway from here for a few years, can't be beaten on the great food, full of flavour, tried nearly every dish and all have been superb. Good service and is always ready when we go to pick it up. Highly Recommended!

Acabo de recibir mi enésimo parto desde el Océano Índico, y siguen mejorando cada vez más. No tengo carne en mis curry (no soy vegetariano), los curry vegetarianos suelen ser más baratos que el pollo o el cordero y no notas la falta de carne. Saag paneer y mutter panner parecían puré, aceitosos y tenían un montón de queso derretido. Keema estaba aguada. En general, la comida no es buena y el servicio es deficiente.

Muchas veces hemos perdonado la entrega tardía y el pedido incorrecto ya que vivimos a la vuelta de la esquina, pero esta vez nuestro curry de gambas estaba casi frío con langostinos crudos. Faltaban los barjis de cebolla y los poppudoms rancios, todo medicre. ¡10% de descuento pero solo si pagas en efectivo! ! ¿Una táctica de evasión fiscal? - Nunca más.

One of the worst meals ever,everything cold,the meat overcooked and dry,curries tasteless and no seasoning,king prawns were like bullets,wis I looked up Trip Advisor. Best part of the meal was the onion salad and Raita not worth £20 plus.

Ahora he recibido tres o cuatro curries del Océano Índico, y no puedo entender por qué tiene una calificación tan baja. No tengo carne en mis curries, y el Océano Índico tiene los mejores curry vegetarianos. Los precios son realistas, las porciones son grandes y la entrega es alrededor del tiempo especificado. chance after chance we have given them as the food is not bad. but they have got every takeaway order wrong thats if it even turns up at all. they will deny getting online orders but happy to take the money. never again..

Our local, we have a takeaway nearly every weekend from Indian Ocean, never been disappointing in 8 years, brilliant food always.

A pesar de hacer una reserva, nuestra mesa se olvidó y nos pusieron en una esquina trasera con puertas de vidrio en el aparcamiento, que era como estar sentado en el aparcamiento. La comida era normal y muy caro a pesar de las grandes porciones. El servicio era casi inexistente (incluso para el fin de semana de Pascua) y todo el lugar estaba en mal estado: viejas sillas de plástico desconchadas, inodoros inundados. El personal se disculpó pero muy poco demasiado tarde.

Amazing service. Quick too. Had a chicken tikka pasanda and a chicken tikka garlic chillie. Amazing range of exquisite flavour and spice. A spectacular taste in pasanda. Not to sweet yet with lots of flavour and spice. WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THE GARLIC CHILLIE AND PASANDA.😀😀😀😀👌👍

I am from Newcastle and cane on holiday to Bournemouth and tried this takeaway out near the beach and honestly was the most delicious food I’ve had in ages everything was fresh and the taste was on point, thank you for the amazing food will definitely be popping back in 🙃.

We visited Indian Ocean just by passing and really enjoyed the whole experience. Food was great. We were a party of 4 and all of us loved it. Staff were great really friendly guys. Even gave complimentary drink when we were done. Highly recommended.

Nuestro indio normal (Nan Moordown) estaba cerrado por vacaciones, así que decidimos darle una oportunidad a nuestro local para llevar y nos decepcionó mucho. Nuestros platos principales eran muy aceitosos, el arroz pilaf era casi neón con el color y el pollo era una extraña textura gomosa. Realmente no es muy bueno y no lo hicimos mucho. Puede haber sido un mal día. .

The food was off, the raita exploded. There were bits of goodness knows what in the lime pickle. The jalfrezi was bland and had no heat. The poppadoms were stale. I've given 2 stars because delivery was good and the staff seemed nice. Shame the food doesn't match the service

These dudes cook a mean curry! Best Indian food i've ever eaten but they do get very busy so best order early Fridays and Saturdays. The vegetable ocean special and naga both come highly recommended. Oh and the bhaji are amazing!

Dreadful service.... When it did turn up it was wrong, they were rude at the door, the Police actualy had to be called. !!!!!!!! AVOID AT ALL COST.

This Indian Take Away has come along way recently and the food is delicious and the delivery swift. Some of the chicken dishes will melt in your mouth and the sauces are delicate and flavoursome.

Awful customer service and telephone manner. Phoned to order a takeaway for delivery only to be told can we phone back in 20 mins. When I then proceeded to ask why I was told can you just do it we're really busy. Firstly that isn't my issue, secondly why not state that if you were to take the order it would take longer due to the influx of requests??? As for the food, I have absolutely no idea. All India just down the road however, were quick, on the ball and very polite. Food was fantastic too, would recommend going else where on the sole basis of principal☺

Awful tasteless and full of artificial colouring. The sample menu for 1 looks like it was produced in a kitchen from chernobyl nuclear power station the colours and taste of the food is disgusting A complete waste of money.
