Took my vegan son for a birthday lunch on his recommendation... then took my friends back soon after! Delicious food, reasonably priced, friendly staff and lovely authentic decor ... looking for an excuse to return asap!

Stopped here for lunch while browsing aroun St Nicholas market. We were warmly welcomed and enjoyed a delicious Moroccan meal. There is a comfortable seating area, traditionally decorated with background music.

Wandering through the Glass Arcade just before closing and we came across this gorgeous little corner of North Africa. Tucked away seating with colourful tiled walls and pretty cushions. Even though it was late in the day, the service was welcoming and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious. Meatballs looked juicy. The couscous was fluffy, the rice was tasty. The vegetarian options were substantial and not an afterthought like they so often are. The icing on the cake was the authentic mint tea, served in the traditional silver teapot. The meal and drinks came to £10 per person. We will definitely return! I’d recommend this to anyone visiting Bristol. It’s a great experience.

Had a trip from Cardiff to Bristol to do some shopping and see a few sights stopped for some food here after browsing the market ! The smells just draw you in you can’t go past this fabulous little gem without trying the food, we both had the lamb meatballs that came with rice which had such a shuttle gorgeous flavour , accompanied by lentils and chickpeas with olives a chilli sauce and a beautiful vegetable stew type dish after one mouthful we were in love ❤️ The different flavours were simply stunning and explosion of Moroccan taste and you have to have the mint green tea expertly poured as that was just lovely , we will definitely be visiting again thank you .

On a cold, wet winter lunchtime, what can cheer your soul? I believe that Cafe Atlas has the key. You will be given a warm welcome and a comfortable seat surrounded by arabic decor. It does not matter if you are vegan, vegetarian or a meat eater, you will be satisfied with hot, healthy authentic dishes.I had the Berber lentil dish with rice....mmmm. Definitely a place to stop by and soak up the hospitality of the proprietor and workers.

I had the chicken with cous cous and my friend had the lamb with rice both came with vegetables and a little harrissa to spice it up more if you fancied it. Incredibly delicious- I wish I lived in Bristol! Incredible value for money.

Superb food for a great price, staff are quick, polite and skilled - a real find! The lamb was great on its own, but loads of extras really made it special for the price.

Without a doubt this is the most authentic Morrocan food in Bristol. We ordered 1 lamb with rice, vegetables & chickpeas + 1 chicken with rice, vegetables & chickpeas. 2 Morrocan chai bil nana (mint tea) and a plate of baklawa sweet. The lamb was spot on tender, oozed with flavour. The vegetables were flavoured perfectly, the chickpeas were soft. Al chai bil nana - the tea with mint was spot on & the sweet baklawa was the final kick to a fabulous dinner. All of the gentlemen working there were great hosts, very welcoming and friendly. We had a good chat, was great to be able to sit and relax. Shukran lakum Atlas.

Made an order online. Called to amend this and restaurant denied receiving order or payment. Repeated amended order and by the time of collection they claimed not to have been paid or received the order. Had to show online order confirmation and bank receipt to get food. Also ended up paying for the full order and not the revised one. When the staff tell you not to use their own website to book and pay for food there must be a problem. The name has also changed above the door. Food was OK but not as good as the last time I ate there.
