The food took ages and the place was empty. Half the menu items were not available. Drinks not available. The gentleman behind the bar said they hadn't had a stock order from the brewery and they were low on supplies. But I gather this happened a lot. My pulled pork taco tasted like sweat in bbq sauce... The haggis fritters were very nice though. The saving grace... the bar staff were amazing and they brought us some free snacks while we watched the footy game to make up for the mess up with dood. They also made a mean baby guiness shot and we had a good night. We also drank a lot of whiskey 🤪 Thanks for having us... hope it was a one off. 😘

Our team had an absolute amazing festive Meal & drinks at the Oatridge. The food was delicious and having the 2 or 3 course choice was perfect .Every dish was served promptly and hot and the servings were plentiful. The Servers Hazel & Pamela were fantastic, nothing was to much for them, so attentive . Sarah in the Bar before & after the meal was brilliant and really kept us in the Party spirit. Thank you for kicking off our festive season. We hope the rest of your season is a great one . From one hospitality Bar to another Merry Christmas & All the best for 2025

Came here with my young son and partner for food as I’ve been previously and always been good. However was not the case this time, all 3 of us having food poisoning , sickness, and my young son having diarrhoea as well .Chicken was burnt, looked like it had been fried, left to sit and re fried. Seems to have gone downhill which is a shame. Hopefully they go back to how it used to be. However don’t think I would go back… service was okay until taking plates away and I was told “I should feel guilty” for not eating my meal , had one bite of the chicken and have fallen really ill so quite glad i didn’t eat it to be honest.

I had the misfortune of attending the restaurant with my parents as it was my fathers birthday, They had travel 1 hour to get there as they had previously enjoyed their experiences there. I drove three hours to join them in what was meant to be an enjoyable experience that my father was greatly looking forward too. My parents ordered a mac and cheese which was lacklustre and not close to as good as it used to be, while maintaining the same price. I ordered a veggie bean burger and a side of onion rings. The onion rings were under cooked and soggy, one of them had been made using the skin of the onion instead of the flesh rendering it inedible- something which a member of staff described as "eww". However the horrors continued as for some inexplicable reason the Vegetarian burger I ordered (due to be a vegetarian) was substituted with a bacon cheese burger which contains two types of animal. A significantly higher number of animals I had ordered to eat. This was returned and further disappointment was served in the form of a tepid bean burger served on a cold bun. The bean burger deserve special recognition for being by far the worst burger I have ever been served. The burger was in fact disgusting and inedible with an unfathomably high price tag for the quality. The burger was removed from the bill and a discount was added to the bill. However this does not make up for the disappointment and the frustration caused to all of us. Especially to my father who was excited to go to one of his favourite places to eat on his birthday. When I emailed a complaint to the manger they didn't even reply.

Very poor standard of staff service at the Kingsgate store. Only one person in front of me and took five minutes to serve them despite 3 staff behind counter a.d another cleaning although when sat all tables required a. Clean. Interaction throughout this once efficient process was limited and no explanation of the way the store operates. Management really need to look at staff interactions with customers.
