Food was unseasoned, stone cold and a very small portion of fries was the smallest ive ever had from 5 guys very disappointing.no napkins in bag or sauce sachets

The time for delivery was pushed out and the food was a bit cold. I appreciate, however, that burgers and fries don’t really travel well. Other than that the food was good. The only complaint is that the hotdog is so much smaller than it used to be and to pay £7.35 for a single hotdog, cut in half on a single limp bun is not reasonable for the price. It is the one thing Five Guys really need to think about. You will be lucky if the hotdog takes even £1 to make.

This is a review I did not want to put up, but due to the poor response from Five Guys customer services team after filling out the feedback form, their lack of empathy and their lack of focus on the customer and more on the details of the order so they could identify the employee, just left a bad taste in my mouth. Just feel very disappointed. Review below….. Firstly, before I mention my issue, I just want to say I think Five Guys in general is great. I have been a loyal customer for over 8 years dinning typically once a month. Today sadly, I was left a little disappointed. Ordered what I typically get every month (burger with fries) but this time with my wife. The potion size of the fries was somewhat lacking compared to the last 8 years (FYA the pics). I appreciate Five Guys have always been pretty kind with the fries it normally serves, but this felt a drastic change from the usual. If it is the case policy has change in portion size, I totally get it. It just seems quite a big change from the last time I had Five Guys in Silverburn, Glasgow 3 weeks prior. It just felt very disappointing and not much more that a regular McDonalds portion. So much so, the meal just did not have the same usual, and wonderful satisfaction I normally get. In fact, I feel embarrassed to say, I still felt hungry. I appreciate you might wonder why I didn’t say anything in the restaurant. I just don’t like doing stuff like that. I feel embarrassed. However, after a couple of hours since leaving the Five Guys in Braehead, I can’t stop feeling disappointed. I apologies about the moan. I really do love your establishments. Best burgers in the UK by a country mile for me! It’s the reason I come back regularly. The last visit however, just soured my view of the brand slightly and made the value of the meal not so great, especially when we sat beside a billboard showing overflowing fries (see pic). If it is the case policy has changed, it won’t stop me coming back for burgers. I guess I will just stop buying the fries. Yours sincerely Andy Ferguson

Tanto es así, que la comida simplemente no tuvo la misma satisfacción habitual, y maravillosa que normalmente obtengo. De hecho, me avergüenza decir que todavía sentía hambre. Agradezco que te preguntes por qué no dije nada en el restaurante. Simplemente no me gusta hacer cosas así. Me siento avergonzado. Sin embargo, después de un par de horas desde que dejé a The Five Guys en Braehead, no puedo dejar de sentirme decepcionada. Pido disculpas por el gemido. Realmente me encantan sus establecimientos. Las mejores hamburguesas en el Reino Unido por una milla de campo para mí! Es la razón por la que regreso regularmente. La última visita sin embargo, solo amargó mi visión de la marca ligeramente e hizo que el valor de la comida no fuera tan grande, especialmente cuando nos sentamos junto a una valla publicitaria que muestra papas fritas desbordadas (ver imagen). Si la política del caso ha cambiado, no me impedirá volver por hamburguesas. Supongo que dejaré de comprar las papas.

ordered my lunch at 12.19pm waited to after 3pm ,dreadful

Primera visita a cinco chicos. El servicio fue excelente para el joven que toma nuestro pedido hoy que fue fantástico. Tenía la hamburguesa con queso con encurtidos y ketchup y patatas fritas regulares para compartir también tenía un perrito caliente con encurtidos y mostaza y los batidos, plátano y fresa eran simplemente fantásticos. Volveré de nuevo.

The fries, unfortunately, were cold, soggy, covered in salt and absolutely inedible. Burgers were nice as always.

Fui aquí con mi madre, las pequeñas hamburguesas donde muy agradable! Y así, donde las patatas fritas y bebidas la pequeña hamburguesa que tuvimos era muy deliciosa y por lo general no me gustan las hamburguesas también, recomiendo a cualquiera que vaya de compras que acumula el apetito de pasear por el centro comercial El personal que trabaja aquí actualmente también es muy amable y agradable Espero que allí los empleadores sepan que están haciendo un buen trabajo, todos ellos!

paid over £50 for 2 burgers 2 fries 2 milkshakes, one of the milkshakes was not sent, still no word on refund and no straw for the milkshake that did arrive, burgers were tasty as always

Staff seem really awkward in this one, think the boys name was ‘Alex’ was too busy flirting with a girl that came in with a girl that came in with a group of people who were served after me, instead of actually making other peoples orders and making hers a priority 🤣very strange If this was anywhere else the manager would say something. Food was rotten from this one and instead of giving me my milkshakes when they were ready he left them behind the counter thing as he was too busy flirting. So didn’t get them until I was handed my bag of food I’ll definitely stick to the x-site one instead the staff are better and can actually cook the food ☺️

For anyone thinking of going to 5 guys for the first time then realising it’s £30 for two cheese burgers one juice and one fries ! Don’t hesitate. This place maybe looks fast food like but it isn’t. The burgers here a literally legendary. The Cajun fries are incredible too. I swear the cheese burger we got here today was one of the best I’ve ever eaten. Thank you to you guys.

Great place. Food was amazing and was prepared quickly. Good selection of burgers, toppings and drink options. Although they don't sell coffee there is a coffee place nextdoor.

Quick service. Burger and chips were nice but expensive. I like that you can add whatever toppings you like to the burgers

Great food cheese burger to die for

Went here for the first time after hearing good things about them from literally everyone lol Burger was delicious and didn't give me that "crash" that fast food places do, probably because of no preservatives and no artificial junk, I got the cheese burger with all the way toppings, (was good as hell too) tho I would maybe recommended getting 1 patty because two can be a bit much at times id imagine The fries were also delicious and there were a lot in the bag (you only need a small fry imo) , they were very filling and actually tasted like a potato (unlike most places) there was so many fries that I couldn't finish it and brought some with me for the road. Overall 10/10 and was worth it for what I got and to the people who compare this to McDonald's or Burger King, 5 guys isn't competing with them they are a burger joint not fast food, and if you compare the prices to other burger joints it's more in line, Thanks for reading my long review.

Food is always cooked perfectly. Friendly staff. Refillable drinks. Never had an incorrect order.

They do good burgers, loads of fries, and a good milk shake. For a change I thought that I'd try a grilled cheese sandwich--expecting an American classic: American-style processed cheese between two slices of thick white bread grilled crispy brown, with dill pickle "spears". Fives Guys's version was DREADFUL, absolutely abominable with burger buns instead of regular bread.

If someone likes junk food, this is a great place. The fries are mostly black, the Hamburg tasteless and the place is terribly noisy. I do not recommend.

First time in there food was very nice, staff very helpful with what to order will definitely be back.

Amazing food quality, you can easily tell food is fresh! Got medium chips and they were more than enough for 2 people. Polite staff and clean space I got 1 little hamburger, 1 vegetarian burger and medium chips, it all came to £19. A bit pricey but food is the freshest it could be. 10/10!!

Amazing service and of course great food as usual. From the moment we arrived at the counter the cashier was super friendly with a smile. He was almost as excited about our burger choices as we were and even convinced us to try the chips (that we had never tried) and OMG best chips EVER!!! The receipt said his name was Christopher. R but I wanted to make sure he got a shout out. Best customer service ever. Thank you. People are always too quick to complain but rarely take the time to praise so here it our praise. Oh and the burgers were great too (but they always are).

Chips were soggy and undercooked

It's not the cheapest burger & dog bar around but for £11 you get a fab double patty burger with bacon and cheese and and toppings included. For about £4.50 you get fizzy drinks with unlimited refills. I spent £16 on a burger and shake but both were great and although it was really quiet...service was polite and reasonably speedy for a hand made cooked to order affair. Only issue...for £16 I'd like a more comfortable seat than hard wood ;! I know burger chains make it uncomfortable so you dont hang around but this is a premium joint...they even sell beer !

No peanuts available at this branch due to nut allergy concerns in an open food court....however, same quality burgers as ever!

I have been working in the centre for the past couple of days, both days we've had a five guys the food was fantastic but the service from the staff was top notch, people a quick to complain, so in the reverse a thousand thanks 👌

Expensive McDonald's but the actual burgers are much better though no specials. The fries with a spicy coating were actually too salty. 3 stars because though the burgers were tasty, £10 for a burger only is expensive for a fast food service where you you need to wait and go back to the counter when your number comes up. They serve a super size portion of fries under the guise of a regular portion but I would rather get a smaller portion of fries on the side included in the price of the burger.

First time can't say it was great. Place was quiet just a few tables. Waited a long time for order the Main driver for this was the collection for deliveries. We had 2 cheeseburgers fries and 2 drinks ( we had asked for 2 fries they got that wrong) price over £30 was way over priced. I thought how does someone with a family afford to eat here. I will say the burgers were nice and the fries and freshly made were OK if bit floppy. Watched the colleague make up my order was as if he couldn't be bothered as just poured his scoop of chips straight into the bags they lay loose at the bottom surely not the way it should be done?? Sorry to say will not be back but we gave it try.

Nice food but unsure what all the hype is about really. The double cheese and bacon burger was great but not as good as a BK. And also over £10 for the burger.

Staff working were very passionate, happy and efficient at their job. Burgers are amazing but expect to pay for it. Don't order multiple fries as portions are huge unless you are a greedy bar staff. Bit of music wouldn't go wrong.

The best burger. No table service, they will not stop throwing chip is the bag so all your food is covered I. Chips, even if you ask 'please don't' They also do not allow dogs even though it's effectively a takeaway with plastic tables :-/

It may be European five guys but it's just as good and fries are up to scratch, best fresh patties you can get and as quick as ever, only one coke dispenser.

Simple, uncomplicated menu. Great burgers cooked fresh and super tasty. Milkshakes are immense, if your not getting bacon bits in your milkshake your broken.

Food was nice although quite a few chips were a bit green but thankfully its a decent portion size. Only think I'd say is it's very expensive for what it is - nearly £5 for a drink and with 3 kids £15 on juice alone is a bit much.

We were served by Kaylee and she was so friendly and helpful. She's a credit to your branch. After a full weekend of poor customer service everywhere we'd visited, Kaylee was a breath of fresh air!(just to be clear, I don't know her personally and have never met her before, she just made a good impression so thought it was worth noting).

Unprofessional front desk staff, they need some ethical training how to behave. I am giving such reviews after 2 time of his misbehaviour.

A wee bit pricy but all an all good food

Went here with my family and although you need to sell a kidney the food was fantastic the burger was perfect and the chips were cooked to perfection as well, and the amount of chips god damn. 10/10 would recommend if you have the funds

First time I have been to five guys and it was my daughter who choose. The menu was good loads of choices and a different variety for whatever you like ie veggie or not. Burgers were lovely and got loads of fries aswell with the meal. The drinks are re fills I think didn't have a chamce to find out because the cups were so big haha. The only thing I would say is it was a bit pricey, it was really nice to be honest but for 2 burgers 1 chips and 2 juice I thought £32 was a bit steap. The staff were lovely and the tables were clean really quick after anyone left which is always good. I would go back here to be honest

My wife and I grabbed a couple of burgers and fries last night. Food was excellent as always. Very generous portion of fries. Staff superb as always. Sean our server was great- charming and polite. Special mention to Stevie the manager and Aiden, both of whom were very genial. You can be proud of your staff (and brilliant burger/fries).

This was the second time in about 10 days we went here. The food is absolutely out of this world. The portion is phenomenal, the freshness was unreal. I have not had such a fresh juicy tasting burger. 100 per cent will be returning. This is a must try you will not want to go anywhere else for a burger again. 🫶

Got click and collect and I screwed up my own order, the staff were really kind and patient despite being so busy today, and they resolved it for me really quickly. Hot dogs and milkshakes were great as always.

Ordered a single, got charged for a double, gave £22- £2 extra to avoid getting £9 of change - got stared at like I was mad and despite explaining it, she rang up £20 and handed me £10 odd of smash including my 2 extra coins- magic.

Service and staff were great. One juice machine wasn't working great. Food is overpriced and over rated. Found the burger bland. Fries were interested as they were cooked in peanut oil but this made them I bit too sweet. Portion sizes were good.

We came here for lunch. The bacon cheeseburgers were excellent. We also had strawberry and banana milkshakes. These were great too. Burgers here were better than five guys in the city centre. Burgers here were not dry and over cooked.

The food was ok but the service was horrible my friends opened their burgers to see toppings all over the place and the chips were half placed in a cup and the rest was poured at the bottom of the bag, over all i give it one star and it was to expensive and very messy it’s not worth it

Big shout out to Gordon who served us on Monday 8th august. Fantastic customer service and great chat as we ordered. Brilliant to have genuine customer service! My niece commented on how happy all the staff looked and you’ve either got some great actors working or a really happy team. Food sensational as ever. Will definitely be coming back
