What can I say, WOW. My wife booked us for 1st February and we went with our friends. A very private place and at the end of a long driveway. Spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable surroundings. A very well equipped kitchen with everything you'll need. We all can wait to get back again in may.

I took my mum and family out for her Birthday. Booked a table for 6pm so it wasnt too late for her. Seating was well arranged, the decor maybe busy but can be a great conversation piece. The staff were attentive, friendly and down to earth which I much prefer over the overly professional you can get in places which makes those places in particular feel very disingenuous. The food was fantastic, great sized portions especially for the price, I highly recommend steak night especially as they cook their steak perfectly which is rare (no pun intended). Overall apart from a few gentlemen who were a tad disruptive who entered which is of no fault to the staff who tried to deal with them while being very apologetic to us which they didnt need to be, the Trinity Derry is a great place to book for a lovely night out with good food and people. I wish to thank the staff there who were on the evening of November 7th especially for being so welcoming, kind and attentive. You are fantastic.

Recently reopened as the Spice Inn, this is a lovely restaurant with fresh, authentic Indian cuisine. Really enjoyed the food, I had the honey chicken special and peshwari nan . A welcome new addition to the dining choices in Portaferry

We had such a cozy experience, such a delicious dish, with the squeaky cheese. The whole vibe of the venue was chilled and you could see the owner/chef was dedicated. Small space with good energy from employees and customers. We will definitely be back in the next year to try something new 🫶🏽

Read about this place on social media. Word of mouth always a good recommendation to follow. We called here for a snack on the way to a gig. The classic cheese sandwich with added chorizo kept us going for hours. Freshly cooked with excellent ingredients this was an excellent lunchtime meal. Big thumbs up from us.

We booked for the Seafood Night and it was fabulous. The food was amazing….I had the chowder followed by tempura monkfish. So impressed with the fabulous flavours. Lovely staff too. Highly recommend this restaurant!

I ate at Sugar Rays recently, and it was a full-on feast fest. The place has a cool, laid-back vibe, with a buzzing atmosphere that makes you feel instantly relaxed. The staff were friendly and on it, and the food came out timely and piping hot. We went for a chicken basket, chick stack, and a burger—all absolutely loaded with flavor and seriously filling. The chicken was crispy and juicy, the stack was packed with toppings, and the burger hit all the right notes. The ribs looked amazing too—tender, saucy, and falling off the bone—so they’re top of my list for next time. Portion sizes were generous, and you definitely get your money’s worth. If you’re after bold, comforting food, Sugar Rays delivers big time.

First time here. Unfortunately was not wowed by the food - quite expensive, city prices. I had the ‘gambas pil pil’ but unfortunately the fresh bread accompaniment was soggy. Garlic fries were nice. My friend had the paella which was full of broken shell pieces - however the restaurant did change this for us on request. Other friend had the chilli prawn pasta and found it tasty. Table across from us seemed to enjoy their meal so perhaps we did not choose their best options on the menu? Waitress was good craic and friendly, until we asked to change the paella - after that was rather stony. Restaurant was overall clean and tidy although bathroom could do with a deep clean - a little buildup around the taps and the baby changing mat was soiled. Convenient to get to as just round the corner from Donard car park, nice views out to sea from the tables at the window.

I absolutely love this place! Food is always 10/10 , huge portion size , flavoursome and fresh! I love the burrito box and the beef burgers are out of this world. The people that work there are lovely! Great place and Is my favourite go-to takeaway!

Called in today food was beautiful reasonably priced and staff were lovely. 100% recommend. Club sandwich was delicious ❤️ Thank you

It took 20 mins for someone to take our order.when we did get it eggs were undercooked sausages were have cooked i overdue large breakfast no hash brown given on the menu it said 2 eggs i got 1. 0 stars
