The best restaurants serving American food in South Eastern NI

Only found this place in July have been almost every week since , the best pizza on the island of Ireland, other dishes are of top quality, staff warm , friendly & attentive, this place is a real find, I travel a lot and eat out all over the world, firebox is up there with the best, and sadly this comes to an end December 24 as it closes. I'm so ,so 😢

We were staying just down the road and came a couple of evenings for a drink. Tiny bar frequented by a handful of regulars, all of whom were exceptionally friendly and made us feel really welcome. Thank you Tom, Pat and Eddie for your hospitality and company. This was the highlight of our trip to Northern Ireland.

Excellent service, food and value for money! It was my first visit but I’ll be back and would recommend it. If you are in the area, give it a try!

From the moment we walked in, the staff—Clare, Emma, Chris, Stephen, and the rest of the amazing team—were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Their passion for exceptional service truly shines through, and the warm, family-like atmosphere makes you feel as though you’re dining at home with loved ones. The cozy ambiance, paired with the incredible food, sets the stage for unforgettable moments. Now, onto the food—absolutely phenomenal! The steak on the stone was not just a meal, but an experience. I absolutely love this place! Food is always 10/10 , huge portion size , flavoursome and fresh! I love the burrito box and the beef burgers are out of this world. The people that work there are lovely! Great place and Is my favourite go-to takeaway!

It's been completely refurbished with new slides etc. It really is a fantastic looking kids park. My 2 year old loves it, plenty of things to do.

We dropped into the Claw & Bull on a beautiful sunny Sunday afternoon with no booking. The whole town of Portaferry was buzzing and we could see from the crowded beer garden that they were very busy. Even though we didn’t have a booking they found us a table with an amazing view overlooking the lough. The food was amazing and the staff were very attentive and friendly. Looking forward to a return visit very soon.

The Bearded Goat was recommended to us and it totally lived up to our expectations. We both ordered sandwiches and they were by far the best we have ever had. We also had lattes which wre creamy and delicious. The staff were attentive and friendly and we will definitely be returning.

It took 20 mins for someone to take our order.when we did get it eggs were undercooked sausages were have cooked i overdue large breakfast no hash brown given on the menu it said 2 eggs i got 1. 0 stars
