The best restaurants serving American food in England

Went to Top diner for lunch, place had no atmosphere, felt very cold and clinical- all staff that we saw looked like they didn't want to be there! Food was way below average and very disappointing-i ordered a fish burger which was like lava- & was cold in the middle- I didn't tell the staff as all the food was disappointing. Definitely seems overpriced and underwhelming!

OMG!! Many good reviews because people don't know what they are eating!! The food looks good. However, it is a filthy kitchen. They don't follow food safety standards. Please be aware that you don't know what you are eating. I will never order the food there again. The staff don't have food and safety licences too! Please be aware!!

Mi hija e hijo - en - Law reservó SDS como el lugar para la recepción de su boda. Son mecenas de larga data de Salt Dogs y como la boda fue bastante informal, la decisión fue un no - obviedad. El personal era cálido y acogedor para todos los huéspedes. De hecho, todos fueron más allá para garantizar que todos tuvimos la mejor celebración. La comida era fantástica. Tomamos un chile de ternera y chile vegetariano, con arroz y chips de tortilla. Cuñas, panes planos y hummus y mucho más. Incluyendo sus perros calientes característicos. My fiancé and I stumbled upon this business looking for some breakfast, having already been to the twisted lemon the night before. We were the first people there, so we were chatting with the staff while we were waiting on our drinks (who were all wonderful and attentive)! The tea was great, but the smoothie was fantastic, as was all the food! The eggs Benedict was perfectly cooked, hollandaise sauce was delicious, even the toast was lovely! I had a full English, and everything was cooked superbly, nothing on my plate was overlooked! Lastly we had a small bowl of hash brown bites, which were unbelievable, and were given as a freebie due to my order not being registered on the till (through no fault of their own). In short, a wonderful experience with wonderful food! Definitely recommend!

Visited on a Friday early evening. No one to serve, waited a while and no one came. Hotel reception saw us but just ignored us, would have said something normally but thought we would just leave. New modern sports style bar but pointless if no service

It really does depend who is serving when you visit - there is a girl who looks so miserable I don't know why she doesn't get another job...... The food is okay and just what you expect from Subway

Bad experience, unfortunately, as I normally like to support a local business. Despite your own reminders sent 3 times by text, there was no table booked on your system at the restaurant. No apology for that. The table given was near an open door, so a chilly start. Table itself a little grubby and 'sticky'. The waiter was unsmiling and came across as surly. Horrible bright lights above table, no mellow lighting/candles. My fillet steak was tough, looked like an end piece of the fillet. We had to ask for steak knives! The side salad was only a large chunk of iceberg lettuce in a bowl with a dressing poured over it. The banoffee pie wasn't good, it was served with a very large 'dollop' of fresh cream, badly presented. Your website states "we ask for smart casual dress in the restaurant", so our party arrived looking smart, only to find a lot of the customers wearing shorts and tshirts. No atmosphere at all in the restaurant.

£25+ worth of sub ordered on 17/2/23 through the app and collected from Alvaston. Returned home via car to find 2 of the 4 custom subs had missing ingredients or ingredients not liked (e.g. onions). Phoned the store immediately to be told that there was nothing that they could do, nor could they issue a refund because it was an app order controlled via head office. Contacted head office via Twitter DM to be told to email the store directly. Currently 15/3 (nearly 1m later) and still the franchise owners are refusing to do anything to refund 2 of the subs, stating that I needed to have taken a photograph on the evening and sent it in via email, despite the fact that both staff spoken to on the evening didn't mention this. The franchise has zero attention for the customer concern, and the head office twitter service is equally as pathetic. Subway Pride Park is completely different to this place and so much more friendly.

Pants my wifes kebab on pitta had twice as much meat as mine. Will not order again as bad service. It use to be good but not now.
