I ordered my food to the wrong store for collection. Instead of them preparing me a meal at the hackney branch they have made me go all the way to the mile end store. I ordered my food at 8.30 it is now after 9 I'm now on my way to mile end in an UBER which is costing me more. Than the meal to go to mile end then to go back home. This easily could have been rectified if they had been helpful and just made the meal at the hackney branch and let me go home I now have to go past my house to collect the food which could have been avoided with a little cooperation. Customer service is diabolical and I won't be spending my money here again

After seeing their instagram posts I was excited to try this spot. Coming from the area they were modeling their smash burgers after (Los Angeles) meant I had a lot to compare. I liked the fact that their burgers were a bit smaller than I get at home. Their toppings were fresh. My family felt like the location was kind of questionable being off the beaten path where most tourists would travel, and only a few seats/bench tables outside. But their execution of this classic meal was spot on a worth the trip.

Unfortunately the beef pastrami burger that they claim is not made up of real pastrami, rather it was beef bacon brought in from a factory who used liquid smoke rather than a real BBq smoking process. In America, the Pastrami is initially made like salt beef is but it has a layer of spice coating and then it is put through a genuine BBQ smoker, so it acquires a BBQ flavour, however in Britain, BBQ ovens are not allowed in many places, so not surprisingly genuine BBQ is very rare in Britain, so the factory that supplies to the halal market is not producing genuine pastrami for this kitchen. Also the Beef ribs was not done under a genuine BBQ either, it also tasted like a strong layer of unincorporated chemical smoke. The chef definitely did not and does not know how to make pastrami, infact born Muslims who become owners of Western food shops, hardly know the real taste of these items, hence they cannot reproduce the real tastes of burgers or pastramis and salt beef.

Amazing food! We saw this place on a food review page and came to try it, it was so worth it 👌. Would highly recommend. We tried the dirty tots ... good tots, cajun fries which were eaten very quickly by a picky teenager. We also had 2 burgers the bbq rib and the dip one, both were absolutely amazing. The meat was incredible... best burger ive had so far. Will definitely come back!

I have been to about 3 Wildwoods and the South Woodford one is just as good for food and the £10 lunch menu is great value however this branch has a kids room and although there were loads of kids sitting with their parents enjoying great food those in the kids play room ran riot whilst their caring mums drank wine and were oblivious to the noise. For some the kids play room is the reason to go here but for those who could not get out quick enough from the noise of screaming kids throwing chairs at each other it is a reason to avoid the place like the plague. For me and my daughter we will not return as the noise is just too much.

I went there with a group of friends for a dinner. It turned out that the place is much more of a bar than a restaurant. The music was quite loud so it was difficult to talk. However, food was quite tasty and service good so we didn’t regret going there. If I come back it will be for drinks though.

I love a good game of bowling, but the time period allotted for a large group was far too short. It doesn't really allow for much socialising whilst bowling. The private lanes upstairs also do not have any bar staff present and there are no QR codes on tables to order drinks, so having to run between floors whilst sticking to a time table made for a bit of a stressful evening. Ate in the restaurant afterwards and the food was average. If the time tables were extended slightly it may be more enjoyable, especially if you're bowling with a group of 10 or more.
