Enjoyed the atmosphere and the setup of this establishment. Great menu and food looked good however it was just very bready, even the Seitan and Falafels were bready/ stuffing like and in a bun it just made it heavy and filling, only gripe really. Bean Curd Scratchings were amazing, so good!

We went in to pick up some food as part of the good to go app, staff were friendly and had an amazing choice of donuts which tasted excellent.

Tenía el batido de mantequilla de maní. El mejor que he probado. Gran servicio amable también. Frente de la tienda muy engañosa de calidad de servicio y batido. ¡Delicioso!

We had another amazing meal at Meat Liqour Brighton and whilst it’s been consistently great for many years, our latest visit on Fri 16th Aug was the best yet. The burger smashing has been honed to perfection; well seasoned super thin patties, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Fries great as always and the dead hippie sauce was the perfect accompaniment. A special mention to our host Dylan, he ensured a great burger was accompanied by a great experience and made the visit memorable for all the right reasons. Can’t wait to visit again soon! Thanks again Dylan and all the team at Meat Liqour. You smashed it!

Didn't eat here. Decent selection of beers including a very decent low alcohol beer on draught. Not too noisy so a good place to natter.

Went for breakfast and we had the pancakes. Absolutely delicious, huge portion and plenty of maple syrup and crispy bacon 😋 yum. Lovely waitress and bottomless coffee

Didn't have food but the ales were fab, old school reggae and dub DJ was playing some lovely vintage vinyls and the artwork is amazing in there

New Management have completely turned this pub around, warm friendly and chatty staff. A lovely little new music venue that actually caters to young and old. They even offer vegan cocktails!!!! Was told by one of the new managers that live music is part of the new image now so will be back for their open mic for sure and their nachos topped off my night.

Buena comida, excelente ubicación en el corazón de North Lanes Brighton, personal increíblemente amable, rápido, eficiente y servicial, muy asequible y si no te sentías “fresco” antes de ir (como en joven, de moda, popular “fresco”) que sin duda lo haces para el momento en que te vas después de escuchar la amplia gama de música fresca, comer la comida más descuidada e interactuar con el personal joven y amable cara a cara súper organizado rápido y eficiente! ¡Satisfacen sus necesidades en términos de salsas, bebidas, condimentos incluso antes de darse cuenta! Adam y Ben son geniales y vale la pena su peso en oro administrando el lugar magníficamente y Alicia nos sirvió hoy y era tan encantador que te sentiste como en casa para cuando te sentaste. La actitud es una pequeña cosa que hace una gran diferencia y es una actitud cálida y amigable positiva que se obtiene aquí. ¡Gracias a todos! Nuestro grupo tuvo una experiencia extremadamente decepcionante. No solo se nos cobró de más inicialmente, sino que también nos vimos obligados a pagar el importe total de nuevo con la seguridad de que se reembolsaría el cargo inicial. Más de una semana después, siete de nosotros todavía estamos esperando este reembolso prometido, dejándonos a todos significativamente de su bolsillo. Los intentos de resolver esto con la administración fueron recibidos con indiferencia, no han hecho nada para acelerar el reembolso o abordar el problema. Esto se siente menos como un error y más como si nos hubieran quitado dinero sin urgencia ni rendición de cuentas. Una experiencia completamente desagradable. Evite si valora el servicio transparente.

Quick service by polite staff. Food was poor however: My Havana Heatwave Burger was overcooked and chewy, my wife’s barbecue chicken was dry and rubbery, and they seemed to have tried to offset this by it swimming in bareque sauce, which didn’t work. Last time I ate here it was Ok, but on the strength of this meal, we won’t return.
