The best restaurants serving American food in North West

I highly recommend. Found this place by chance after walking all over to find somewhere nice to eat, they were full but made space for us. The food was amazing I had steak (one of the best steaks I've ever had) and hubby to be had loaded hot dog, and the cheesecake was great too. They had a live singer so we ended up staying till late. Great friendly staff. Would definitely come back again

Took a gamble and was not disappointed. Had a selection of wings and fries. Absolutely fantastic, best chicken I've had, loads off flavour n juicy, just fell off the bone Looking forward to try the Manchester one. Note..10% service charge added to bill

Not a high class restaurant. A chain experience. Menu is ok. 3 course lunch for £19.95 is fair value. Al la carte is more expensive.

Please, please put more bar staff being the bar. One person working the bar upstairs on nye is crazy. I've been in before and downstairs you'll have like 2 people on the bar on a weekend, 3 if we're lucky and even then it's not enough. Seen more bar staff working a dead night in a pub.

Based on evening meal experience 26/04/25 Food Portion sizes were very poor. 5 of us ordered steak, all were noticeably undersized. Some ordered the meatballs or chicken wing starters - 4 very small meatballs and 2 chicken wings per portion. I have never been anywhere where you would receive 2 chicken wings as a portion. Seriously, not even worth plating up. Service Staff were polite but clearly inexperienced, making the experience clumsy and a little awkward. This is fine, everyone has to learn somewhere, but this was a Saturday night - they should be using their A team. The automatically applied service charge (10%) should be made optional until they get their house in order. Atmosphere Unremarkable - scaffolding planks on the walls, big mirrors and the occasional cow skull for that authentic wild west in the north of England vibe. Strangely there was only one, single cubicle unisex toilet for the entire restaurant. Not great.

This place is incredible! Being a big '50s/60s fan, I was excited to come here, and it didn't disappint. The atmosphere, the records on the walls, it was so good. The food, oh my word, amazing! I ordered the homemade steak pie which was to die for! Beautiful pastry, tender pieces of steak, served with homemade gravy. My hubby had burger and chips and he loved it too. It was great value. Many compliments to the chef, the food was absolutely superb! My only little finicky snag is that they were playing 80s music (which I love) but I was expecting 50s/60s, but that's by the by. I just can't recommend this place enough! Don't bother going anywhere else. You won't be disappointed!

Yes again this place surpassed expectations. The steak was incredible- cooked just right and tasty and juicy. I still can’t resist the onion bomb as a starter… you just can’t beat it. Thanks to Becky for looking after us so well. She knows her stuff and we really enjoyed the extra sides she recommended. Can’t wait to go back.

Excellent dîner with my family, it wasn’t busy so it wasn’t noisy at all; cocktails were tasty as was the food which was also fresh; quantities were good. We had the guacamole and tuna ceviche to start with, followed by the sea bass salad and pollo asado with broccoli. Loved it! The staff was amazing as well and very accommodating as they knew my parents would arrive from France before me, and my train ran late. Definitely recommend!

It was my first time at Mala and took my mum for a lovely lunch , it has a great vibe and loved the live music , a hidden secret garden in Manchester we’ve been meaning to go for a while , nestled in the northern quarter fits right in It has a variety of cuisines under one roof a great bar and eatery to cater for all with plenty of room , We couldn’t resist wok bros generous colourful boxes bringing Asian cuisine to the north west We got a selection of dishes off the menu using the table apple and welcomed by Omar who has been situated at Mala for 3 months fit right in offering great service throughout I got the Pumpkin katsu That came with delicious veg chow mein noodles just like an authentic Chinese While my mum enjoyed the Honey , garlic and chilli chicken Then shared some tasty sides and delicious dips you can’t not get the Salt + pepper Hash browns plus Veg Spring rolls paired With Sweet sour ,Sweet chilli ,Soy and Firecracker sauces Everything was fresh and came quickly , left feeling satisfied due to the generous portions so great value for money Overall Had a great time getting merry and loved the decor getting in the festive mood and loved the pooches that came to say hello too we plan to return and bring ours as it’s dog friendly

Great choice of breakfast, brunch and toasted sandwiches. Lovely atmosphere and attentive staff. Would definitely recommend x
