Mala Secret Garden in Manchester

It was my first time at Mala and took my mum for a lovely lunch , it has a great vibe and loved the live music , a hidden secret garden in Manchester we’ve been meaning to go for a while , nestled in the northern quarter fits right in It has a variety of cuisines under one roof a great bar and eatery to cater for all with plenty of room , We couldn’t resist wok bros generous colourful boxes bringing Asian cuisine to the north west We got a selection of dishes off the menu using the table apple and welcomed by Omar who has been situated at Mala for 3 months fit right in offering great service throughout I got the Pumpkin katsu That came with delicious veg chow mein noodles just like an authentic Chinese While my mum enjoyed the Honey , garlic and chilli chicken Then shared some tasty sides and delicious dips you can’t not get the Salt + pepper Hash browns plus Veg Spring rolls paired With Sweet sour ,Sweet chilli ,Soy and Firecracker sauces Everything was fresh and came quickly , left feeling satisfied due to the generous portions so great value for money Overall Had a great time getting merry and loved the decor getting in the festive mood and loved the pooches that came to say hello too we plan to return and bring ours as it’s dog friendly

El hombre de seguridad / servicio más increíble - he olvidado su nombre, pero trabajando en la noche 28 / 11 - ayudó a encontrar mi teléfono y fue más allá en proporcionar un ambiente hospitalario y acogedor. La comida era muy buena también. ¡Muchas gracias!

Si bien el diseño peculiar y el ambiente agradable y cómodo eran muy agradables para nosotros, los aros que tienes que saltar a través de Internet solo para pedir una bebida significaba que nos alojamos para solo uno. Si insiste en no tener un bar tradicional en el lugar, al menos deje que el personal tome su pedido con lectores de tarjetas sin contacto. Tener que escribir mi número de banco de 16 dígitos, fecha válida e incluso mi código postal solo para pedir una cerveza fue irritante en lo más mínimo. Quizá me estoy haciendo viejo.

Sorprendido por algunas de las críticas negativas, ya que tuvimos un tiempo encantador en Mala en un domingo a la hora del almuerzo. Sentado bajo el techo con la lluvia era muy agradable con la interpretación de jazz en vivo. Tenía la comida griega que era agradable y a un precio muy razonable (ensalada griega y patatas fritas cargadas giroscópicas eran £ 15 y más que suficiente para dos personas en el almuerzo). Pintas en £ 6 se siente razonable dada la ubicación y el personal era amable. Los franceses itinerantes se comportaron bien con la gente y una adición linda.

My first visit to Mala, very quirky interior, nice and cozy with an outdoor area. That's where the positives stop. Only one white wine was available, which was over eleven pounds per glass! The wine was very average and would have only cost about eight pounds elsewhere. No bar service, only table service from the app and they add a service charge just for bringing the glass to your table. The shabby chic interior does not go with the prices charged. There was a singer on the day we visited, who was good but just a bit loud. Toilets need a good clean. Needless to say, I won't be returning!

Don't waste money here! We ordered over £60 worth of food and drinks and the food is probably the worst in Manchester. The FUKU food is nothing like what they show on the menu. We ordered salt and pepper chicken. After 40 minutes of waiting some plain chicken and rice showed up. When I confronted them they said they don't even stock the ingredients to make salt and pepper. The rice was burnt and smelled like smoke. Horrible and embarrassing experience.

Wonderful. We found this place quite by accident. It was so nicely laid out and pretty. Love how easy it was to order from multiple places in 1 order. My daughter got some seasoned fries that were the best we have ever tasted. I got the vegan katsu pumpkin noodles which were absolutely devine. Very reasonably priced. Lovely staff. Clean toilets. Can't fault it

Seen this place when passing through for drinks, went in and was nice atmosphere however drinks that we ordered were not as described or shown in the picture. Spent £8.80 on two shots which I thought were small type creamy beers as this is what the picture showed. Asked the manager about this to be told the glasses they serve in they had none left and that the price is because they are a up market place. Very disappointed with this service.

the decor is cute but this place looks a lot better in the photos. there was a good atmosphere even for a monday however almost all of the happy hour cocktails were sold out.....it's a nice place and we spent a good few hours there but the drink options was limited and underwhelming

Todo muy bueno. Tienen un qr en el que te metes y pides la comida a través de una web y todo llega enseguida. Todo llega enseguida y fueron muy amables con nosotros.

We went for food and a beer. Very cool decor. Nice atmosphere. It was a weds afternoon. Our drinks came out within 5 mins food was 25 mins. Food was great. Service was good
