Basic high priced meals but good atmosphere. With their prices, You’re paying for the live music not for food.

Food was very good and was on January offer half price. What a bonus 😁

My friends and I visited blues kitchen for a friends birthday, the atmosphere was great and we had the most amazing host, Sophie, who made our night extra special!

Smoked salmon and eggs was 4 bites at most I thought I got served the wrong thing at first (starter size portion for main plate price)

Only popped in for drinks on Friday night, but have had the food here previously which was great. Not to sound like Goldilocks but the main floor was too cold and the upstairs was too hot, and it was so busy we were unable to find a seat so we quickly moved on after one drink. Great vibes though, although a little pricey.

Great time here for dinner celebrating my aunt's 60th - Aldo was fab & a great atmosphere & live music!

We went to Blues Kitchen yesterday for lunch with our 3 week old baby and could not fault a thing. The staff were welcoming, friendly, helpful and so considerate in terms of accommodating our little one, sitting us in a quiet booth tucked away and kept checking we were ok. We ordered from the £9 lunch menu and the food was great and came quickly. We have only been to Blues previously with friends in the evening and wouldn’t have considered it your typical ‘child friendly’ place however now we would definitely go again with our little ones. I also have a nut allergy and did not feel restricted when ordering.

Drinks are great- service is even better- we had a tiny issue on our order and staff sorted it out instantly and were so polite- thank you to Erin for great service :) we will be back

Seriously Cool bar! Only suggestion would be to put reserved signs on the tables as it was super awkward to be told a bit rudely to get off a table.

I love this place it’s so good . The atmosphere is incredible and the food and drinks are wonderful. They have great mid week deals I went on a Wednesday and select cocktails were six pound what a bargain I would definitely recommend this place !!

Served with potatoes, broccoli and mango, this was an alright meal…for half the price. If that serving had set me back £20, I would have felt ripped off. It’s not far off something I would cook at home. There was nothing else on the menu to entice to return.

Had the loveliest time at Blues Kitchen today! It is my boyfriend’s birthday today and I wanted him to have a lovely day. Sapphire was absolutely amazing! After two sips she came round to let us know our next drinks order was through the system and ready to go. We were never without a drink, she helped us make the most of our £35. Food was delicious, lovely atmosphere and impeccable service. Thank you Sapphire for a brill day! We will definitely be back

Great service! Aldo (sorry if I spelt it wrong) was an amazing host he made sure our drinks were topped up and we had all our food when it arrived. The food was great especially the Oreo donuts.

Good vibes, good music but our friends phone got stolen and phones have been stolen every week now. Be careful. We heard it’s been a regular occurrence.

We visited blues kitchen before Christmas on a girls night out and we were all pleasantly surprised. After queuing in the cold to get inside, we came close to giving up, however I’m glad we didn’t. The music and atmosphere was great. The dance floor was bouncing!! Even though it was busy, we were served quickly by a girl named Suraya who gave us a free shot for my friends birthday. She also took our allergy order very seriously (nuts) and was knowledgeable on the main allergens. As I work in hospitality, I know how important this is. She gave us service with a smile and was really attentive. We will definitely be returning on our next trip to Manchester.

Atmosphere was good. Oscar the bartender was a flat out liar and lied about the price drinks. This place used to be fantastic bit is has really gone downhill Since the last staffing.

Went shopping in Manchester yesterday and decided to try blues kitchen on spec. Best decision, met by host Inca who made us so welcome, then the great service and friendly staff continued at the bar and our food service too. Genuinely nice people 👌 great food 👌 amazing cocktails. Only wish we had time to stay for the live music but even before that the place had a great vibe and we stayed way longer than intended! Thanks BK a really great time!

Great atmosphere at this venue & top class service from all around - door, bar & management. My partner was feeling faint & they ensured she got help she needed. Couldn't be anymore attentive while clearly dealing with a busy environment on two floors during NYE. One of my fav bars in MCR beforehand & enforced last night, as to why. Thank you Blues xo

I attended Blues Kitchen NYE celebrations last night and was blown away by their customer experience. I have low blood pressure, and got too hot in the venue, subsequently nearly fainted. I asked the bar for water, and when I started to feel faint, a staff member was immediately helping me. They waited with me until I was well enough to move to a recovery room - brought me a menu to use as a fan, bottle of Coke and water and regularly checked on me until I was feeling well again. Even getting my things from the clock room for me. I’m aware big events like these rely on massive teams to keep the show running - but wanted to mention two people in particular - Anna and Ben. Thank you both, it can be scary feeling faint at these big events and I felt so safe and cared for!

Great live music and atmosphere. Dinner was also very good. Had the wings, cheese burger and ribs. Our starter was delayed and we were given complementary drinks. Really great service!

Came to see a band here so only had drinks. All bar staff was quick and efficient. I have been in here many times but the band was upstairs which I never knew existed, result - our own private function. The band and night was fab. Thanks guys

Great Atmosphere for a Monday in Manc...

Had a great lunch here. Fantastic atmosphere and amazing food. Love the space and the whole energy. The staff were brill and I can't recommend enough.

Called in, going to the theatre. There was not a lot in when we got there about 11 o'clock. But It was very busy when we came out about 13.30. We had food and drinks for 4 people . Staff were lovely and perlite and helpful.

Incredible Samira served me and my friends on a busy Thursday Evening and catered to my allergies promptly. I appreciate her incredible eyeliner on 12.12.24 slaying in the evening and hope she is recognised as a helpful waitress

Great place food excellent and a cracking atmosphere

First time visit. Wow what a great venue and lots of atmosphere. We came for a gig upstairs and chose to have food and drinks downstairs first. Our server Anais was fantastic. Excellent service. The food was a bit underwhelming. The chicken thighs were so dry! We’d come back though for sure.

Had the pleasure of trying a juicy cheeseburger, that was perfectly cooked and had the new bone marrow butter on a delicious bun from The Blues Kitchen, Manchester. A true comfort food experience.

I recently hired the airstream caravan at the blues kitchen and it was amazing. The quirky, retro vibe created a fun, relaxed atmosphere, and the staff were excellent. The cocktails were top-notch, and the space was perfect for a group night out. Highly recommend for a unique experience!

Had a works Christmas party in the concert hall at blues and it was one of the best nights out we've had as a team! Pre-ordered our drinks in advance and they were there on arrival and the servers couldn't do enough for us. Can't wait to come back.

Knew about Blues by reputation. Always wanting to sample its music and food. We found an amazing deal on First table. 50% off total bill. We were able to sample a nice veriety of the menu. All the food was delicious and really impressed both me and the wife on our romantic meal together. Will be back for a night of music soon. Thanks to the staff.

Booked the private dining room for our Christmas Party this year (2024). The booking was managed by Jasmine who was really helpful leading up to the event. We were really well looked after on the night, nothing was too much trouble and the food was great. I would definitely recommend this if you’re looking for a private dining room for a large group.

Decided to eat before the show and weren’t disappointed with the burgers - Could have done with a side salad with it but on the whole very good . Keenly priced and excellent consistent service from all staff that served us . Shame about the group Change ??? So very disappointed by the performance ? The lead singer was embarrassing !!!!!

Cheeseburger was really nice, I'd definitely go for additional bacon if you can. Usually 11 quid a cocktail and fiver for a beer. The live band was amazing playing some good Christmas tunes and playing some groovy covers of Johnny b goode and proud mary.

The bouncer were honestly the rudest people ever. We had a table booked for 10pm and when showing the booking they said it was booked on the wrong date which we then said oh sorry I just wanted to check the booking on my friends phone as I remember her sending me a screen shot and checked it and it wasn’t booked for wrong day so we called them over again and they just ignored us. We had to argue with them about our table. They let another group of people in without a booking all I’m going to say is racism at its finest. (Men with no power but trying to have power bad for business). We went for a work trip we wasn’t drunk and I was shocked at how disgusting the bouncers where honestly they deserve to get sacked. Just cause they deal with drunken idiots daily doesn’t mean everyone is drunk.

Great place to visit comfy and staff is taking care of You the only downside to this visit was when we were asked to moved tables no- one mentioned discount option does not apply in the other part of the restaurant.

Excellent! I celebrated my birthday here last Saturday (30.11.24) and it was a great experience due to the staff and the fact that the bottomless brunch was truly bottomless! Blues Kitchen were not stingy at all and myself as the ladies truly got our moneys worth. The choices of drinks are small but we enjoyed trying the from Rum Punch, Prosecco and Mimosas. The food was yummy too! Our server-Dobbs was A* so was the guy who greeted us on the door. I even got a yummy birthday plate complete with a candle. Would highly recommend and I will definitely be back! Thank you to everyone at Blues Kitchen, you have become a new favourite hotspot in town!

if you’re looking for a good spot to for burgers i’d head down hear for some of the best one’s in manchester. especially on a sunday when they offer 2-4-1 burgers

The new Turducken burger is something worth trying. Came in after visiting the christmas markets and it was the best way to end our day of festivities :)

Blue kitchen has a fantastic atmosphere when singers are on mainly later in the evening. The cocktails are really good and food is great. Have been quite a few times now and always consistent. Staff always friendly and helpful

One of the highlights of this place is the atmosphere. As soon as you walk in, you feel like you’ve exited Manchester. I attended the Hip-hop Orchestra brunch event with friends here, and had a blast of a time. The crowd was electric, with everyone having a great time, and the musicians were incredible. The service was okay, friendly but sometimes a bit slow in getting our orders to us (to be fair, it was a full sold-out event we attended). The food was delicious, (my blueberry pancakes were fluffy and not too sweet), however the portion sizes were on the small side for the price charged. Overall, a great place in Manchester to go with friends to eat some nice food and enjoy some amazing live music!

Really impressed with the service provided by Thaddeus. He was exceptional in his customer service as I had an issue which he dealt with professionally and was very polite and friendly. He is a credit to the company and deserves a pay rise!

Went on a Friday night with friends at Manchester Uni, they warned me before that two of them had had their phones stolen straight out of their bags (which required the thieves opening two separate zips) in the upstairs club area. I had a cross-body bag that was on me the whole time, yet thieves managed to open it up and take my phone out as well. Venue staff were kind and friendly but could not do anything to help. This has also happened to two other people on separate occasions at blues. The club is fine but please keep phones to close to you at all times!

I like great food. I also have been known to eat a disgusting amount of McDonalds. The food at Blues Kitchen just wasn’t good. I ordered a burger and some pancakes. Weird? I know; I was hungover, shoot me. The burger was okay-ish? The pancakes were bad. I always clear a plate but I was unable to on this occasion. The setting is stunning. The Bloody Mary’s were elite. Every member of the team was just great. It’s a shame the food was so disappointing. Next time I find myself in Manchester I will come back for a drink, I’ll just know to eat before.

Every time I come to blues kitchen I could not fault the service or the food! The staff are 10/10 and are a credit to the business, our server Samara went above and beyond for my birthday by pulling out multiple stops and making every detail extra special. I would 1000% recommend to anyone looking for exceptional food and service as well as incredible live music and impeccable vibes.

The place is big and have a nice caravan to celebrate parties but quite dark during the day that its a bit annoying . The menu is quite restricted and its not much choice. The burguers are ok but very basic.
