I've been here a few times, both for evening meals and drinks. The food is nice, we are a mixed bunch of people and everyone found something they enjoyed. Service is always a bit slow but incredibly helpful. I think the atmosphere is where this place falls a little short, it appears to confuse, dim lighting and interesting room decor as atmosphere. It's sometimes can be crammed to the rafters which spoils any mood and then unless there is a band on the music can be interesting. I think it might be trying too hard to make blues as commercially viable as possible, which is a worthy endeavour, but the way they are going about it at the min falls a bit short. That being said, it's a nice place for food mid week.

Always a great experience when visiting. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is great and the service is second to none. Great place for few casual drinks or to go for full blown party.

Great atmosphere and a fair priced tasty lunch. Service was really attentive and helpful. Nice selection of drinks. Welcoming to children of all ages. When food arrived it was well presented, perfectly cooked and we loved the corn and other sides. I found the fries unexpectedly salty although others in my party enjoyed them I struggled to eat them at all. I keep my salt levels low so impossibly more sensitive but they were so heavily seasoned with what I know now I would either avoid or ask for a low salt version. Brilliant lunch all things considered in a really unusual independent venue.

Actually had a great time staff and food where solid.plus the drinks can't be grumbled at solid choices all round,

haven't tried the restaurant but avoid gigs here. i couldn't see anything, the concert hall is too shallow and long.

A truly charming place! The decor is amazing and really creates a unique atmosphere. I am yet to try the food but it always smells and looks amazing. Great variety of drinks to choose from at a very reasonable price. The toilets are always clean and the staff are always friendly. I will definitely be returning and recommending to friends and family.

I don’t know why but I couldn’t get a good vibe from here for a Saturday night out. I was too crowded, I couldn’t enjoy live music both in the ground floor and the first floor.

Definitely visit this great club, it's a classic English club where beer, drinks and mixed drinks are served, only you won't get coffee here, which is such a minor flaw, although almost insignificant, they also have a few burgers, fries... Visit this nice club, it's worth it... Beautiful atmosphere

Went on a Friday night around 8:45. I didn't stay, it was packed. Very warm and stuffy, and the noise from the crowd of people was so loud I didn't even realise there was a live singer at first. Not my vibe.

Went here for dinner with a party of 6. Prices were a bit towards the high end however the food was good (but not to die for). We were told that there is an offer for Buy 1 Get 1 Free on Burgers when booking on the phone however were not made aware that the offer was only until 6 pm, this did rack up the bill quite a lot however the food was good and we were compensated with a free desert. Just an FYI: For the Halal fellows. the chicken dishes are Halal however best to check with staff on there is non-halal items on the menu.

Always a great atmosphere and service, food was lovely and not too expensive for the quality. Drinks are great with lots of choice, and live music is the best part

The best bottomless brunch I've ever had - made even more special by Sam! Sam was so attentive, friendly and professional. He really went above and beyond for our group of 4 girls. The food was amazing as was the atmosphere. Thank you for a wonderful lunch.

Came in to celebrate my engagement yesterday for cocktails and they made it so special for us - we were treated like royalty from the get go! Thank you for such a great celebration, your cocktails are a 10/10!

Blues Kitchen is our favourite spot for food in Manchester without a doubt! We came in a couple of days ago and absolutely loved the new items on the menu... The beef shin melt is to die for!! Already booked in to come back next week as we always have amazing food and service

Me and my work colleagues have been going for around a year every Friday due to the lunch deal that included the beef brisket and a pint for £12. Best deal in Manchester and we were there every week without fail, sometimes in a group of 10. I noticed they had taken the pint off the deal and reduced the price by £9. Although this stung, the beef brisket was the primary reason for our regular visits. I have found they have taken this the brisket off the menu for a toastie which is no where the level. I don’t think we will be returning till the beef brisket is brought back. Please bring the beef brisket and pint deal back and we’ll be there every week.

I love this place, love the design, live music every evening, waiterses very swift and helpfull. Food is very nice I ordered Salomon it was served cold very tasty. Drinks are the best ❤️

We came here at the weekend for date weekend. It was the lunch menu, which is quite small. We still managed to find something to eat from it We had chicken wings with a blue cheese sauce and a side of Celery for starters, and then, for mains, we shared the beef rib combo. It was absolutely delicious, I loved the corn and the beef rib topped with red chillis, it came with a side of mac and cheese, which was also very nice tasty! The lettuce wedges was such a refreshing side dish.

What a place..great atmosphere. Great food. But most of all the staff. All look as though they are enjoying themselfs..special mention to Ollie, he is a cretit to the hospitality industry. If we owned a restaurant we would have him working for us. Will definitely be coming back to this place.

Had a wicked time with my mates here last week for her birthday. We booked an area for food and drinks upstairs and were really impressed with the service and how delicious the food was. It's definitely a place to spend the whole evening as the live music later on shouldn't be missed! Loved the band playing and we can't wait to come back.

Served by Ollie, he was very attentive whilst serving our food and drinks. We had a good chat with him about the area and places to go, he was lovely, bubbly and super helpful!!! Thank you for a great experience we will definitely be back for some food and cocktails 😁🎉✨

Celebrated a milestone at the blues kitchen. Had a private room downstairs. The room was pretty dark, which I am not a fan of while eating but was clean and tidy with plenty of room. We ordered off a set menu. However, I don't eat meat, so I had to be given a separate menu. I had a spinach and artichoke cheesy dip with black nachos, which were delicious, followed by a sweet potato and pumpkin curry, which was also very nice. For dessert, I ordered a skillet cookie, which arrived and was hard as a rock. This was quickly rectified and a nice hot gooey cookie replaced it. I cannot comment on the drinks as I only had a red bull. The waiting staff where absolutely brilliant and very accommodating. The atmosphere was fine but being away from the upstairs bar and music left it feeling a little too quiet.

Drinks and service were good. The menu has been reduced significantly, so that there isn’t as much choice as there used to be. One of the group ordered the cheeseburger which came on a side plate with chips on an additional side plate. Salmon dish was very meagre considering the price. I’ve been here a lot of times, and the experience this time was not as good.

The bar manager Jade Raine and Anais were absolutely excellent. Second time in a row they accommodated me, my friends and my partner as best as they could . I am very happy with the treatment, music and and atmosphere

Booked an area in the bar for some after work drinks on Friday and we had a great time! The cocktails were flowing and we made great use of the happy hour too. We even ended up finishing the night in the Karaoke rooms! A perfect end to a long week at work.

These pictures do not do the justice needed. From the moment you walk in, it's like being transported back to a by-gone age, beautiful tiling everywhere. The bar has one of the best American and Bourbon Whiskies this side of the USA. If there's a lady behind the bar called Bruna, go and speak to her about everything American, her knowledge and passion for American Whiskey is infectious, this lady could offer 1-1 sessions, so knowledgeable, professional and enthusiastic. The food was beautiful, my pork rib just melted in the mouth, the chicken was soft, with the perfect amount of heat. An amazing place, and an absolute must visit place.

Came in for a meal for my birthday on Monday and absolutely loved it. They do £6 margaritas on a Monday which was a great birthday treat! The food we had was delicious and the service was as always incredible. We are regulars at Blues Kitchen and they always make it so special for us!

We did a karaoke room for my 20th last night and it was SO much fun !! Our lovely server was Erin and she did an amazing job of looking after us she was so friendly and helpful tysm <3 Whenever we ordered drinks they were super speedy with the service. No complaints at all thank you so much !!

Visited as a walk-in on Sunday night and was served by Mekenzie. The drinks and food were both delicious, but the service really stood out overall. Our server made our experience so enjoyable - she was attentive and super nice and we will definitely be back soon.

Came in after work last friday with some of the lads from work, was blessed by a happy hour that included £5 pints and cheap bottles of prosecco. The bartenders were really knowledgeable on the venue and what was going on that evening, we ended up staying way longer than we should have and celebrated properly!! Top night not to be missed

Had a lovely meal at blues kitchen last night in the restaurant, we had the Pork Ribs, Steak and a tonne of starters to share and were super impressed with how well everything was cooked and tasted. The servers were a dream and we evening stayed for drinks after and to watch the band who were also fantastic.

Had a lovely evening! The fries portion was very small but maybe the best fries I've ever had. There was a man sucking someone's toes on the table next to us. The band were fantastic, and our server (American lady) was amazing - really lovely and knowledgeable. Why did that man have toes in his mouth? The decor is beautiful and the drinks were great and well priced considering the location. Overall, more toe sucking than expected, but a great night.

Great deal during lunch, £10 for selected mains and a drink. I ordered the beef brisket dipping sandwich, really enjoyed it, however could have done with a little more meat inside. Staff were friendly and I love the atmosphere inside. Great place for a drink and chill.

Had a lovely meal in the restaurant to celebrate our anniversary last week. The food was delicious and couldn't be faulted! The service was excellent and the drinks were also delicious, especially the cocktails. The live music in the bar was a perfect way to round off a memorable evening!

Booked a dinner in the private dining room for my colleagues and we had a great time. The set menu was perfect for what we were after and the team were so accommodating. Drinks were flowing all night and we ended up staying to watch the live music after our meal too!

Great night for my birthday last Friday, we went to the club night as me and my friends are all RnB fans and we had a blast! Booked any area to get the night started and we received the best service, food and drinks. The music was 10/10 from start to end - we will be back!

Ok yall, im a southern American living in the uk and I have been sooo homesick. My parents came into town to visit and I knew they would be missing American food so without ever going to this place we went. I saw Corn bread and fried chicken on the menu and I’ll be honest i had Low expectations cause British people just don’t do soul food as well as us southern Americans. Yall that fried chicken and corn bread came to my table i could have slapped my grandma that mess was so good. I am already planning a trip back here with some more of my American friends. And the service was amazing! I’m not sure who our waiter was but he had sandy blonde hair and we had a little mix up with our food order and he was quick to sort it and even explained to us what had happened which was so kind! Also the supervisor i believe came to check on us i also Don’t know his name but he had dark hair a nose ring and a cool sweater he got from asos! Food amazing workers amazing 10/10 would recommend and I will be back!

We hired the airstream caravan for my sisters 30th birthday and we had a great time! Everything from the food, drinks and service was perfect and we’ll be making this a regular place to celebrate.

Been here a few times now and it is just fantastic! The food was amazing and would definitely go back just for that. The first time I went, one of the people in my party had a gluten and nut allergy and the waitress took it seriously, providing all of the necessary information making sure the food was safe for everyone. Not really a fan of the cocktails it’s quite a limited menu and so can we difficult to pick one if you are a bit fussy. Been here an evening when the band is playing and it is fantastic. Such good energy and you still get served at the bar quickly upstairs. Myself and a group of girls had an issue over the weekend with an inappropriate male. I raised my issue with the staff who then promptly resolved the issue and took it seriously, which was really reassuring. Will definitely go here again on a night out and would highly recommend it!

Food surpassed all expectations. The best Mac and cheese I’ve had for years. What we weren’t expecting was the attentiveness of the staff. So friendly and chatty at every opportunity and they brought us a surprise at the end to celebrate our wedding anniversary. They even remembered from a brief comment that my wife was pregnant so brought a non-alcoholic cocktail!

I told staff that I didn’t have candles with me for a birthday cake. Was told it would be handled. It was brought out without candles and the waiter just shrugged and looked annoyed that we had even asked. I understand if the establishment didn’t have candles but don’t say it would be handled, then have an attitude with guests.

Food and service were both excellent. Really nice to see something different on the menu than the usual subjects. There was also live entertainment which created a great atmosphere!

After trying hard to find somewhere nice to eat after a long day travelling, I'm so happy we found The Blues Kitchen. It was perfect!! Decor 10/10 Food 10/10 Service 10/10 Atmosphere 10/10 I'd perhaps prefer a teeny bit more lighting in the loos, but who cares really! Can we please give A MASSIVE SHOUT OUT to LukeG. He was our server last night and I can say I've never had such awesome customer service! As a nut allergy sufferer, I was pleased to have such attentive service. It was mainly the way he notified us of the steps he'd taken to ensure our allergy issue was being taken care of and taken seriously. Also, letting us know he'd be popping off for a break and who would be looking after us in his absence. Then, when back from his break, he checked in on us right away. He was an all round awesome guy, so please tell him we said a great big thank you! 🙏🏼 In future, I'll only ever eat here when I go to Manchester!

Superb! Great setting, terrific interior design and layout, fantastic food and amazing staff! A chance decision for dinner; not disappointed at all. We were readily accommodated (short-notice booking) and very well looked after … our waitress Anais was a wonderful host! Craving for a meat feast was amply satisfied. Would definitely go again, and again - highly recommended!

Unlimited Buffalo Wings (weekends) or any other order of the menu, simply amazing food and drinks. The drink menu and music is a Blues fans dream on the right days (a variety of music on different days). I'd be visiting a lot more if we were closer and perfectly cooked unlimited buffalo wings would be my new Sunday dinner!

Probably the coolest bar/restaurant I've been to. Superb atmosphere, great staff, delicious food, awesome live music. A must for any visit to Manchester.
