Very friendly staff - great food

Chicken breast burger was really well cooked and tasted amazing, Dirty fries were decent enough. May be worth going at a quieter time of the day (possibly outside drinking hours) as the noise level was really high from some nearby tables and it was hard to have a conversation. Service was good and staff were helpful.

Food was ok, service was ok, atmosphere was ok. It was a bit cold inside and quite a few people were sat eating with their coats on. Staff were friendly and professional, though. Two drinks, two burgers and a portion of onion rings was £50.

Went in for dinner and had the Big Mac Chicken. Coating was really nice but thicker than the chicken itself. Let itself down and wouldn’t recommend it for £15.

Managed to get a table on a busy Saturday afternoon. Friendly and welcoming staff who were very attentive. Food was good with speedy service.

The salt and pepper chicken wasn’t great, just had a sweet soy flavour and not actually salt and pepper. The chicken gravy gave me food poisoning. Staff were lovely though- we did visit on New Year’s Day so service was slow. I wouldn’t visit again- being so sick was an awful start to this year.

I do enjoy coming here and overall it was a good experience. The guy who served us was very friendly and attentive. The food was decent but not worth the £15 I paid for 3 chicken breast strips and chips. It was not filling for me. The mac and cheese was very dry, it looked like just pasta not cheese or that melted cheese ‘look’, just dry. There was left over food bits on the chairs and the toilets were not clean, none were clean and i had to use the furthest toilet down as that was the most cleanest. Saying this I do think its a good place to chill and have drinks, and I would return only for drinks.

A very quiet place in Manchester to taste a good wine or any of the dozens of varieties of beers they have.

well after months waiting for a email response ive realised i wont be getting my refund for being double charged for 1 terrible meal. where do i start. i came in to try this new place out after uni 6 months back. i wasnt busy or empty plenty of staff. i ordered my food and drink on the app and waited 15 mintues before going up to the bar to just buy a drink becuase i was fed up waiting and asked the bartender if my order was ok. she said oh sorry but our system is down atm so youll have to order with us again. so me and my friend did so and listened to her. we waited then 30 minutes for our food and original round of drinks to arrive. then the food was wrong but after 45 minutes of doing nothing i was starving. realised my meal was incorrect but decided does it matter i just need to eat. and wow they really got it wrong the food didnt just taste bad but the chicken was grey and the fries where undercooked and looked like they took a bath in whatever sauce mix that was. so i just left it and said can you take it back i dont want to eat anymore id like to just leave. i felt back about asking for a refund but i just wanted to run to mcdonalds to eat something quick easy and actually safe, i left asking the bartender i wont be double charged and she promised id be okay and appologised which was the only time the start seemed to care when ive alreadfy been inconvenienced. i new i wouldnt be coming back again but then a day later checked and yard and coop have double charged me for a horrific meal and experience. then you guys take it a step further and ignore all my emails asking for help after i send messages to all your email addresses. honestly its left such a bad taste in the mouth i was impressed at how inept customer care is here. i wont be surpised if you guys close soon. i dont expect to get a refund. not after seeing how shocking the buisness is. and id know as i work in hospitallity. and ive found there isnt just me thats had trouble at this restaurant.

And I can’t wait to visit again, the food, cocktails and all the other staff who looked after me were also brilliant! I 1000% recommend a visit! ❤️

Horrible service, extremely slow. Hot chicken wings almost too sour that you feel like you are eating lemon.

We’ve been huge fans of this restaurant chain for years but we’re not fans of the recent menu changes. Bring back the dirty bird! We walked out without ordering last time.

My wife and I went in to grab food to go. We were greeted by friendly workers who took our order and that was honestly the best part of it all. We waited almost 30 mins in an almost empty restaurant, took our food and left. I ordered the chicken and waffles and my wife order some chicken wings and chips. The chicken was dry, rubbery and tasted horrible, the waffle was like a brick and none of the chicken had any sauce. The chips seemed like they had been under a heat light too but still tasted ok. If it wasn’t the fact we were far away once we opened the food I’d have gone back to complain. Possibly the worst £28 I’ve ever spent. Not sure if the chef was high when he made the food but overall id recommend never taking the food out. I’m sure this was on off day but it’s really left a bad taste in my mouth and probably won’t be coming back.

First time visiting this wonderful place of absolutely phenomenal food! They do not have chefs they have wizards! The food was absolutely unreal well worth the price points which are very acceptable for what you get! We were served by a woman from Bulgaria (unfortunately didn't get her name) she was an amazing host! Checking in, she stayed for a chat, took the time to make sure we was comfortable massive asset to this restaurant. If you are thinking of going just go!

I really enjoyed the food there is an overpowering taste and excessive sauce use on the chicken which if toned down would make the food amazing. Service was excellent and the waiters and waitresses were brilliant. I also had a milkshake to go which was watery and I wouldn’t have another.

Food wasn’t abit of me but great service.

Lack luster food served by slow staff. The £8 lunch menu was advertised outside on a big board to entice you in but once inside the only menu on the table was the full A la Carte menu. After scanning the QR code on the table underneath said menu and scrolling to near bottom we were greeted by the lunch menu. Both sandwiches we ordered, one with curry sauce and one with gravy were unremarkable. The chicken was unseasoned and lacked flavour. The food was supposed to arrive with "Salt and Vinegar" but it didn't. We were left rather underwhelmed. I've have been wanting to try this spot for a while, appearing to be unique and exciting. I'd like to come back and have another shot but I'm certainly wary.

Overall: Quite Mid. Lovely staff and great decor and atmosphere but the food is nothing special and isn't cheap. We both ordered the 'big plates' which are big but not much variety really. Stacked with chips that were seasoned with a whisper of salt. Soggy fried chicken with what seamed like reheated macaroni cheese as it was clumpy as if it were microwaved.

Thoroughly enjoyed our night at yard & coop. The food was great, the music was on point and Jae made sure the vibes were high all night. Highly recommend!

I took my friend out for her birthday- all chicken is halal and the staff actively offer the certificate just to prove it which is fantastic! The food was gorgeous and we were definitely spoilt for choice. The ranch is leagues above the wing stop ranch, as is the menu as a whole. Our server Jay was lovely and we can’t wait to do back. Make sure to book in advance because it gets busy !

I went yesterday for my son’s birthday, what a great atmosphere. The food was excellent and so was the service, the staff all deserve a raise. They were the friendliest staff I have seen in a long time . I would highly recommend A*****************************

Great place for all family. Catered well for dietary intolerances. Kids kept entertained by the provision of Lego box and colouring stuff. Only criticism would be that we needed some wheels in the lego box :)!

If I could give 10+ stars on here I absolutely would me and my brothers came to Yard and Coop for some food and ohhhhh woooooow I'm definitely coming back the food was absolutely phenomenal the service was phenomenal and so was the atmosphere the staff were so kind and helpful and welcoming so so nice didn't bother you constantly like most restaurants do the came over a few times when we asked for them but I must so thank you to all the staff and absolutely compliments to the chef on the phenomenal food you've made future customers of me and my brothers thank you very much 😁👍

Amazing chicken feast! Yard & Coop is impossible to top for delicious chicken in so many different variations. A burger is always my choice though! I had one of the specials for the 'Battle of the Bloggers' which was Ronnie's Reviews 'Carolina BBQ Burger'. It was superb. Fantastic flavours from the marinade and the succulent pulled beef. Nice crunch from the chicken coating and the slaw. However, it was the Pulled Chicken BBQ Fries that stole the show. A massive portion of fresh fries plastered in ranch and pulled chicken. I loved every mouthful. As always the service was spot on and the atmosphere is great for dining. Previous visit: Just an incredibly dank tray of food! Every mouthful was amazing. The Messi Burger had fantastic flavours from the sauces but the chicken was coated with something special! It was so crispy too and plenty of it. I did have to send it back for the pulled beef to be added and I'm glad I didn't miss out because that was really tasty too. The BBQ Pulled Chicken loaded fries were almost as enjoyable as the burger. Again delicious sauces and plenty of meat. Some was a tad chewy but I suppose it just made the taste last longer! The place is cool and the staff are a delight. Couldn't recommend it enough and I'll certainly be back. I feel bad that I've never been before now! Previous visit: Another great burger! Having had the best chicken burger of my life on my previous visit it was needless to say I was excited to get another fix. I ordered a 'Karen' burger with an extra thigh. It didn't match the lofty high standard set but it was still a damn enjoyable burger! Their chicken is perfectly crisp and juicy. I also had tots which are always a winner over regular fries. Sadly you can't swap them with your meal so I had to have side salad and pay separately for the tots. Fortunately I had a free side voucher to use though! The place itself is always popular and the staff are great. Quite pricey but you'll struggle for a better chicken place in Manchester.

I could have spent all night drinking melon mai tais.. great compliment to delicious fried chicken. It's ok. Just ok. It used to be so much better but I guess the cost of living has affected what they can provide for the price point. My advice.....eat in places local to you that appreciate the trade and come into town to drink. Nothing wrong with this place but nothing to recommend either To be honest, 40 quid for chicken tenders and chips plus a portion of spicy chicken nuggets and a salad which was basically half a lettuce is a bit of a joke. It's a real shame but it used to be so much better here. Another place that's ready to shut down me thinks. Better food and better value in the locality. I wouldn't bother coming again.

The food is decently portioned and tasty... just wish my chicken was warm and more fresh. The sauces were nice, especially the ranch and blue cheese. The peach ice tea was refreshing. Tables way too close together...annoying...also the furniture is rather mixed, reminds me of school hall(and not in a good way).

my go to lunch spot each time when visiting my friend in manchester; the food is absolute quality. there’s such huge range on the menu with an additional specials menu that they give you, so plenty of choice to choose from, as well they do an assortment of fizzy and still drinks. the staff are massively friendly and attentive with their service. the place itself is huge so there’s always guarantee of being able to get a table when walking in. lots of toilets which are always clean and stocked up. overall a fabulous place which should be on anyone’s radar when visiting or living here!

Visited here with a bunch of friends mid August and found the atmosphere and vibe to be nice, although it felt a both rushed considering it was a quiet day. There are some really interesting food options as well as being able to create your own. Only thing is that it’s a bit above would I’d like to pay, but great tasting food nonetheless.

We were recommended this by family who live in the area and we were not disappointed! Food was tasty, slightly expensive but unique and gorgeous! I had the dirty bird, she had the special that was advertised and the kids had chicken nuggets! All fantastic food. Lively atmosphere but not too busy it was great. Decorations for fun too!!

Cannot recommend this place enough. Staff were amazing, so lovely and welcoming, and made us feel happy to be there. We were reassured of any allergy concerns and weren't made to feel like a bother. And even though there was a long wait for the food (on a Saturday night so to be expected) it was well worth it, absolutely fantastic.

I love this place. Such lovely staff and great food. Jae is back and the MOST wonderful human. If you want somewhere genuine, get along there.

Me and my friend went to Yard and Coop today in Manchester. The food was amazing and super affordable for the portion sizes and quality. My personal favourite was the salt and pepper wings. Want to give a huge shoutout to the staff especially Jay who was so so lovely to us and had an amazing energy. Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely unreal never had chicken like this before if you like chicken you HAVE to visit so so good service was really good truly enjoyed everything about it great find.

Unbelievable chicken with a wide variety of options and lovely milkshakes and drinks. Staff are exceptional and a special mention to Jaelan who dealt with my nut allergy with extra care and precaution !! :)
