The best restaurants serving American food in Basildon East of England

Amazing burger. We both went for the create your own with seasoned fries. All I can say is wow. Can see why this place is no.1. Probably one of the best burgers I’ve tasted and I’m a bit of a burger connoisseur.

We ordered from the Canvey store for delivery and the quality / taste of the food was amazing! Reminded me of 5 guys. It was a little pricey though! We ordered 3 small burgers and 1 portion of regular chips (no drinks) and it was over £30 ! Other than that I defo recommend!

Came back here after visiting last year for a friends birthday, last year the food was genuinely amazing, don’t think any other Mexican I’ve had has come close. Portion sizes were massive and the quality was really very good. Unfortunately, this portion sizes to have slightly changed over the last year as our most recent visit, we found the portion sizes to be quite a bit smaller (we even checked a photo to make sure!). We remember being almost too full to eat after sharing some large nachos last year, what came out the other day I could’ve ate on my own in seconds! The mains were a similar story, I also tried a new filling and salsa option which I wasn’t keen on, but that’s entirely my fault! My partner’s food was delicious. The service was similarly amazing, very polite and friendly service. Very attentive, and the venue itself is cosy. The bar was set so high on my first visit that any change was always going to be upsetting, I get times are tough at the moment but I can’t help but mention my disappointment at the changes to portion sizes! Everything else was great though.

Top pie and mash. Have local pie and mash shop near me ,but travel to George's because it's really tasty pies! Is a cafe that does vast range of food options

The cod father chip shop Is very good food is delicious and piping hot but they use just eat to delivery service as I don't drive I order through them the first couple of times were over Christmas and after ordering I received a refund and an email saying sorry no drivers were available which I understood so tried again last night ordered for 17,30 at about 18,10 I enquired where is my order as the app said it was out for delivery and enjoy my food then got a message saying again no drivers not good

Did an order tonight and was shocked to get the order so quickly was very impressed and happy with it and everything was there and warm too

I love a subway salad! Always fresh and enough to have half for lunch for work the next day. The staff at Pipps Hill are always friendly and polite.

Just had the strangest experience in Queenies which has never happened before. Some confusion about having a strawberry and banana milkshake and ended up with three milkshakes so explained we didn’t want three we just wanted one. Asked for a refund of the milkshakes and at this point the young girl started being really rude and after giving £60 in notes originally decided to refund the milkshakes in 50ps and 20ps?? I asked for the original notes back at which point she pulled £10 from the till and slammed it down on top of our pizza order crushing the top pizza?! After asking if this was a joke and some back and forth my bf asked for a full refund at which point she THREW the notes at him!! I will never ever step foot in this place again! We have always raved about this place and even recommended it to others and always received good service but this was unforgivable behaviour.

The store is okay internally but shuts early when trying to order delivery.

The chicken is awful just lately. Dry tiny pieces not very nice. Used to have the best chicken but I really cannot rate it now.

Once again missing items from our order. We expect it now, but getting all the way home to find other items missing after already highlighting is just another level
