McDonalds in Basildon

This place has gone further downhill, everyone seems to have to wait for their food after ordering at the drive through we waited for 35 minutes last time and the waiting cars just clog up the car park up as there is nowhere else to go. Food is ALWAYS missing whether it’s a burger or fries in the happy meal so annoying when you get home and realise someone hasn’t got their dinner. Happened a lot of times. Going elsewhere from now on

Absolute joke, order £40 of food only to have half of it missing, then when asking for a refund they gave £4.80 back, I paid this in delivery fees, the food was cold and half of it was missing and I’m only entitled to a fiver of my money back ? This restaurant is a joke and I won’t be ordering from here again

I ordered McDonald’s form the McDonald’s app but it never arrived and they will not answer there phone to get a refund been trying for an hour now it says it’s been delivered but to what address it isn’t mine.

I just wanted to give a HUGE shout out to Frankie who took my order at the drive through he made my day, he is a lovely, funny young lad such a credit to have on your team, if you do things like employee of the month he certainly well deserves it Thank you Frankie for our experience honestly the best

Supposed to be a 24 hour McDonalds - says so on all the signage, but was told that it was closed until 3.30am when I arrived at 2.23am. Totally unimpressed. What's the point of saying 24 hours if they aren't!

Get there looking forward to big cheesys,kids wanted them etc to be told there's no specials on??? ...FFS . Why keep removing food off the menus. Its a total joke ans waste of a journey. Same with big tasty ,one week it's there then it's gone. Think it's time to call it a day with Mcdonalds, almost every time we go there they don't have something we want and the prices have shot up and when there's 7 of you it makes a difference..

A late afternoon stop off as I had missed lunch, and I ordered a cheeseburger meal. The coke was nice and fizzy, but the fries were soggy and darker brown, as if they had been put into the fryer a second time. No matter when I visit this restaurant, the fries are always awful - why can't they get it right. The Bas Vegas restaurant, by contrast, is awesome, but was at the wrong end of town for my visit this time. The burger was just about lukewarm and by the time I had finished eating was cold.

Absolute joke .. I’m at work - as a bus driver. Walk in start ordering to be told Not open, walk out .. then see people getting food . Walk back in “how people get food - drive though- But I can’t order food cos I’m on foot -!! This will be last time I try give McDonald’s any of my money- plenty of other places that don’t discriminate cos my vehicle is to big to drive through..

😡worst Mc Donald I’ve ever been too ,I’m not sure how hard it is to get what you’ve ordered ?? You don’t need a degree it’s not that hard!!! I’ve had at least 5 burgers missing over 5 orders and everytime I order 20 nuggets they always forget to give me dip! Avoid run by dimlows 😡

I think I manage to be the only person that visits when the place is closed because of system upgrades. It has happened twice now and each time the staff were completely clueless as to when they would reopen. 10 minutes, 10 hours, 10 days, and even when I gave them the three options, it was met with "I dunno". Totally disinterested and clearly the management don't monitor their staff.

This place is a joke. They don't bother answering the phone, I ordered a double sausage and cheese muffin no egg and they gave me a cheese muffin with no sausage or egg. Sort your lives out mate. Also ordered a jam muffin the other day and they didn't even give me butter. They are rude and unhelpful.

This was my first time here bringing my grandchild. He had been before but I wasnt keen as Mayflower very busy estate. Anyway walked in and was greeted by a lovely lady cleaning the tables who broke off to help me with the ordering from the screen. I found it so easy and the food was lovely considering I dont usually do Madonalds food and I only like chicken or fish. Went for Macchicken burger no fries or sides and a milkshake. My grandson had the same in a meal deal. Table was available even though busy as last day of school holidays and food came as we were sitting down. Excellent. Car park a night mare though as so busy but not their fault.

Visited the drive through for my quarter pounder and fries and kids meal, we were asked to wait in grill 1 ( ordered off menu and no special requirements) lady bought out order and when I arrived home I had someone else’s meal chicken wrap and fries. Opened wrap and was greeted with off cucumber slices that was soft, gooey and gross. Tried to Call several times to complain but phone was never answered !!!!

one of the workers were extremely rude to me. I have never been so disappointed in my life. please fix this as I was so sad about this. thankyou for your time

Check you meal if placing an order via drive thru. Ordered 6 nuggets and only got 4. Apart from that the coffee is awesome

Can't believe what a great Macdonalds this us, Service is 5 star Spotlessly clean Not a regular user but would def recommend Alan is so helpful, a valid member of staff for sure

The staff were extremely polite and helpful. The coffee was the usual Mc D's, tasted more than ok and is excellent value for money. The table was clean and tidy and the whole place felt as if it is run most efficiently.

It's a first, I got piping hot, crispy chips from McDonalds at Mayflower and I didn't have to ask for them. Also, the Big Mac was well constructed, didn't look like it had been thrown around the kitchen, and resembled that of the picture on the menu. Well done, this is a first Basildon! I'm hoping it is a sign of permanent improvement.

This was an unusual place for us to go but we were both peckish and didn’t have much time . We were both very impressed with the cleanliness of the restaurant and efficiency of the staff .

Placed order not offered table service. Waited for order and my number from ticket was not called . Went up to counter and ask where my food was and it had been sitting on the counter for passed ten minutes.but my number was not displayed on the board say preparing or collect. I've left the restaurant with no food as food on counter was cold and parted with my money for the experience. Will never use Mcdonalds again.

Ordered a meal from McDonalds at Mayflower through the drive thru. Straight away the chips were greasy, soggy and barely warm. Why is it so hard for McDonalds to serve a decent chip. They've only been doing it for hundreds of years!

I was at this store on 27th 11/20/18 at around 1:AM in my experience the floor manager was a nasty racist I complained about a very simple issue and her answer was to call the police on me

Used the drive through today to get our grandson his lunch. The outside area of the restaurant was clean and tidy. Easy to order your meal, polite, friendly staff and efficient service. Food was well cooked and hot. Reasonably priced food. Used this branch a few times and has always been good.

Arrived for a happy meal for our daughter. Went inside to sit down and eat. It was very busy for a mid morning Sunday. Good service, happy with the meal.

It's just like any other McDonald's but it's a quick service and it's even quicker at the drive through. It's one of the best McDonald's in that part of Essex I'd say.

This is to date the best McDonald's I've been to! Not my usual review but the staff were friendly and having a laugh amongst each other, the food was hot and the restaurant clean! Great example for the franchise.

Sí, he dicho calor. No tanto los niños pueden quemarse pero lo suficientemente caliente para comer un Big Mac toda sin ser un frío, desorden bastante pesado al final. Si te apetece un McDonalds y luego ir a este.

Staff are always polite, always friendly and willing to help no matter what! You get what you pay for, basic mcds food! Lovely restaurant though can't fault it.

Toddler accidentally spilt something in the car park to which the cleaner came out and had a go at me. NEVER returning. Made a bad day with a tantrumming toddler worse!

Best in the area! Wouldn't fault it :) good service, good staff, efficient and quick which is good when you're in a rush! Always friendly staff who are very attentive!

Después de una visita previamente mal, pensé que le daría otra vez. Mala elección. Las patatas fritas estaban llenos de grasa, y aún no había sido preparado suficiente así que aún estaban sin cocer. El barrio Pounder con queso evidentemente ha sentado bajo las luces durante tanto tiempo que el queso era soldada en el cartón de cartón. Sin duda un McDonald's para evitar si es tranquilo.

Went here for a quick lunch. Counter staff ignored me when I was waiting then called out next and looked the other way so wasn't sure if he wanted a customer. He called again and I approached. Said hello and said no fries but can I have a big Mac and whatever is a larger burger then a Big Mac. (ie Quarter pounder with cheese!) He tried to sell me one of the new smokey burgers which I declined and he had no idea what else was bigger that a Big Mac so twice more he offered me the smokey burger. I declined pointed to a double cheeseburger and he said that was the Smokey burger" Nearly gave up as I only have a hour for lunch and didn't wish to play anymore with this Moron. I will avoid him if I ever go there again!!

Late night visit after cinema! Drive through was quick and the order was spot on! Definitely one of the better McDonald's! Avoid the milkshake!

It seemed like one person working and the rest were performing a show! Fighting with a broomstick?? Come on... Seriously? The manager turned a blind eye and so the show goes on!No wonder why it was so empty!Filet o fish had a dirty bun!?!? Maybe was dropped on the floor. Had the runs later that day anyway.What's happened?? It never used to be this bad... Won't be going near this place for a while until the boys in suits come to sort it out!

The food is, well, bog standard Macdonalds - you know what to expect.The seating area is well laid out and clean and tidy.The guy who is usually at lunchtimes, clearing up, sweeping the floor etc. is a bit of a star - always looking out to see if he can help make my visit smoother (useful when I often have children in tow).

A 3am visit to the drivethru McDonalds at Mayflower Retail Park resulted in lukewarm, soggy chips and a quarter pounder with cheese that seemed like it had been spot welded to its packaging. To further compound the problem, the strawberry milkshake was only 2/3 full. While most people visiting McDonalds at that hour will be drunk and therefore unlikely to care what it tastes like, I think it was a complete waste of money and won't be visiting again.
