The best restaurants serving American food in Basildon East of England

We went yesterday (Sunday) as had a lucky Sunday with no kids so thought we would have dinner out and always wanted to give dB Shack a try. We ordered two 'The Pig one' burgers with some tater tots each, food come quickly and was amazing some real good flavours on the burgers well worth the trip and will go again.

Our server was Pippa, she was really nice and accommodating. All our food and drinks came out quickly and she gave great advice on the menu. Would highly recommend the mexican painkiller, a cocktail that tastes like a really good Pina colada.

We ordered from the Canvey store for delivery and the quality / taste of the food was amazing! Reminded me of 5 guys. It was a little pricey though! We ordered 3 small burgers and 1 portion of regular chips (no drinks) and it was over £30 ! Other than that I defo recommend!

Jamie was brilliant, really good service and really happy with everthing as it was my little Girls birthday also. Really lovely lady couldn’t do enough for us 😊

Popped in for breakfast with a friend this morning 21st October 2023. Friendly staff & a full English to die for. Everything piping hot, well presented & very tasty. Definitely the best full English I have had in a very long time 😋

Please fix your website, bitch I can’t place an order properly

Am I wrong in thinking that after every sub you need to change your gloves? I am vegetarian and the lady who served me put pepperoni on the customers sub before serving me. I asked her for a veggie patty, instant hint that I am vegetarian, she got the bread I chose out before changing her gloves and I had to tell her that I am vegetarian in order for her to finally change her gloves. She didn’t swap the bread after touching it… I’ve been a vegetarian for over 20 years and the fact that I received a sub which was pepperoni contaminated is disgusting in my opinion. Want to work with food? Do better.

Can’t believe I am writing this as have eaten here a lot & normally really good but ordered boneless chicken for me & wife & it was awful 4 pieces of which I can only describe as cardboard , dry & beaten so thin you could probably see through it & when I phoned to complain they said they were to busy to listen, I just hope this isn’t the sign of things to come , Terry from Laindon

Don’t normally leave regieee but I was so impressed! We placed a large order (over £90) and not a single item was missing and they even paid attention to the order notes about the salad too! Food was hot when delivered and no complaints all round!

Not enough car parking places but space is very limited at this location in view of the drive through that they need, also due to the location at the side of the A127.

I ordered McDonald’s form the McDonald’s app but it never arrived and they will not answer there phone to get a refund been trying for an hour now it says it’s been delivered but to what address it isn’t mine.

Was really looking forward to going out for lunch with my friends celebrating, ordered the bacon sand which came out unbelievably salty could not eat it, it didn’t state on the Menu if it was smoked or unsmoked, they didn’t even offer to take it back or a refund, rude manger made us pay full price when we didn’t even touch our food. Would not recommend
