The best restaurants serving American food in East Midlands

I am absolutely disgusted with the experience my family have just received in kfc Newark!! Laughing and thinking it’s acceptable to make fun of my mother for having hearing difficulties and wearing a hearing aid the manager Finn and the server called Lilly think it’s acceptable to discriminate my family and then to then escort them out of the premises when my father questioned why it’s funny to make fun of her may I add my parents are 60+ absolutely disgusting behaviour!

I odered 4 pieces of chicken and only got 4 drumsticks.Why not put in different pieces why drumstick for all for🤷🏻‍♀️.im not happy and this is not the first time its happening

We were driving north towards Leicester Forest East Service Station on the M!. My huge travel companion asked if we could stop for KFC. Parked and eventually entered the large restaurant area and went towards KFC. There were 4 electronic selections service order/pay stations - but NONE in use.Joined the queue of about 30 people waiting at the 5-place service stations - but only one person serving. Eventually she declared that they (KFC) had run out of chips! The waiting crowd of hungry travellers were very quiet. Since KFC had run out of chicken the previous week, there was that distinct atmosphere of utter weary resignation. My huge companion went and joined the massive queue at Berger King. I felt much better and quite righteous by not eating any of this junk food.

Picked up a 8 piece bucket, got to my hotel in Retford to find the tiniest pieces of chicken I have ever seen and as dry as a bone. Tried to call them but got a answering machine

Staff are appalling, long queues, get to the window 9/10 get told to park up as food is never ready when you get it it is cold honestly just get to Alfreton this is not worth the visit if going towards Mansfield go either Sutton or kings mill McDonald’s

En un momento dado llegó un grupo de jóvenes solo para calentarse. Se sentaron cerca de nosotros y comenzaron a wapear mientras estábamos comiendo, y ninguno de los miembros del personal les prestó atención waping en la habitación.

Arrived 11am. Food was pre warmed at an early time. Strange, chicken was dry the skin on the chicken was hard. The staff was really nice. Not a great experience. The man sorting the not working self ordering kiosks smoking outside says alot.

Went to the customer vacant counter to order and we were ignored while the three members of staff were faffing with 5 or 6 Uber/ just eats bagged orders on the counter. After 3 or 4 minutes one of the staff members looked up and said that they were not serving at the counter and we had to use the self service boards. I asked if we would be able to use the blue light discount card and was told no, we would need to press the ‘pay at counter’ button then come to the counter and pay! Really really disappointed disrespected and discriminated against- that’s the KFC Riverside, Northampton customer service experience we left with. Needless to say we walked out without buying anything.

Ende duo having to stay at the travelodge next door, which is an absolute disgusting stinky old crap one, then ended up going to kfc for some might aswell have been raw chicken, so undercooked couldn't eat it Then next day called into the truck stop, only place nearby to get hot food, breakfast was awful chepw and tasteless and over priced, you get a better one at wetherspoons for £2.99 Just go to McDonald's in your vehicle acrosd roundabout and don't bother The place is disgustingly dirty and the suave says it all Absolute pits, a dump

Went in early Saturday evening so not much of a queue. However, the meal itself was awful. Worst KFC I've ever had. This was supposed to be a birthday treat but the chips were soggy and greasy and the chicken in the 14 piece bucket was very greasy. The skin is supposed to be crispy. This has really put me off buying a KFC ever again. The 2 stars is for the quick service and not for the food.

Went through Drive Thru, placed half our order and after asking for no ice on the first drink were told to move to the first window. We hadn’t finished our order, and we couldn’t edit at the window and add on the other meal. Weren’t asked if we had finished our order, and were just hurried along. Drive thru staff did not have a nice approach towards us when we explained they had not let us finish, and was not at all apologetic. When we asked to cancel the order, she didn’t even talk and then ignored us. Not happy with the service.

Bread dry might as well have been toast hardly any filling not all ingredients available and overpriced at£6.09 won’t return

Subway website says it’s open till 7. Went in at 6:15 and the girl behind the counter waved her arms and said they are closed.

We only dropped in for a normal service station type stop, which included throwing some car rubbish away. It was FAR too difficult to get to a bin. Rubbish !!!
