I odered 4 pieces of chicken and only got 4 drumsticks.Why not put in different pieces why drumstick for all for🤷🏻‍♀️.im not happy and this is not the first time its happening

Went in refused order at till said needed to use screens due to my eye sight I couldn’t they said cash only at till even though card readers attached to tills

Do not go, dirty & untidy tables , unhelpful staff, gets order wrong then argues about order. I should have stayed at home and cooked.

Placed an order on Just Eat for food from KFC at Meteor Centre, Derby on 30.12.23 at 2000hrs. Only half the order (the Boneless Banquet meal) arrived late and it was cold.  I called the KFC Manager (Philip Kileem) and he said the courier mixed the orders up but that he couldn't contact him and to call Just Eat instead. Of course I cannot call them so I had to email them and wait 48 hours for a reply. This was very disappointing. We went hungry. I asked the Manager if he could resend the order but he said "I wish I could"but claimed he could not??? What nonsense!  Shame on you KFC at the Meteor Centre, Derby. I won't be ordering from you again - wasn't cheap either! 😡 WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE POSSIBLE!😡    

My husband and son and I were at KFC today at the Meteor centre in Derby, my husband went in to wash his hands in the bathroom and got out of the bathroom very quickly and told me he smelled strongly of urine. KFC has some extremely dirty bathrooms. They are super disappointing.

The place is filthy. Not one clean table. Food and sauce all over them. Food on the floor, rubbish on the floor. The staff make no attempt to keep it clean. I even complained and asked why is it always like this, to which they shrugged their shoulders at me. The KFC in Derby Metior Center is local to us and the kids like to go here but after this last visit I'm not prepared to give it another chance. Toilets were filthy too.

The floor in this place as soon as you walk in is absolutely covered in food it’s absolutely disgusting it looks as if no one’s bothered to sweep up all day. It’s even on the seats

I just want to give a massive shout out to esmee, if that’s how I spell her name! She was the most kind, caring and sweet lady I have ever met working in a fast food place! I was upset and she took the time to grab me some tissues and wished me a better day tomorrow and made sure I was okay! Absolute gem!! Thank you babes 💓

Absolutely one of the worst branches of KFC in the country. They NEVER get an order correct, then when they “attempt” to correct their errors, they can still manage to get that wrong. They stand huddled together around the serving hatch, chatting amongst each other, clearly lack any concentration. On this occasion, completely missed a burger off the box meal. Reported, given said burger to find it was missing cheese. Went back again, watched the young chap walk around the back and slap a piece of cheese on the burger (which by the time it had taken to get their attention had gone cold) advised it wasn’t sufficient as the burger was now cold. He walks around the back, changes the box and immediately comes back. “Manager” basically called me a liar and said it was a fresh burger. Gave up and moved on because literally couldn’t be bothered anymore. The owner of this franchise really should take a long hard look at how terrible the place is. Complete embarrassment.

Ordered through deliveroo. Stone cold and all dips missing. Tiny portions of chips. Will never order again . Second time they have got the order totally wrong, telephoned them and told it was not their problem and to get in touch with Deliveroo. Didn’t care in the slightest. Appalling

I recently went here with my son and found the food to be very poor quality and cold and very expensive for the amount we received,I think this is the last time I will pay them a visit unfortunately.

Stressed staff, ran out of food and waited an age for cold food with brown salad 🥗 Oh, and our order was accidentally deleted 😂 Absolute shambles run by kids! Not an adult in sight!

I’ve just received my online deliveroo order, oh my. so they didn’t send my full order, and put the cookies loose in the bag, now there’s crumbs and chocolate on everything, i’ve tried to ring 5 times to tell them about it and they’ve picked up and hung up straight away.

Ordered food via Deliveroo. What a joke. KFC only sent half of the order and when I rang the manager couldn't have been less helpful or conciliatory.No option to send what was missing and no interest in rectifying a mistake. It will be up to 10 days for a refund which is unacceptable and shockingly poor customer service. AVOID AVOID AVOID. From previous experience of this store I am well aware of how diry and disorganised it is. If I'd known that's where Deliveroo sourced the meal when I ordered,I wouldn't have bothered.To be frank,I will NEVER use KFC again now.

This review is about a take out.....I’m sure no one who runs or works in this place has ever had proper, original southern fried chicken because the sad version they turned out is far from it, the servings of a poorly run franchise on small margins.This establishment doesn’t serve up anywhere near the advertised chicken! It was that soaked in fat there’s no chance of anything being crispy especially the batter which is what it is supposed to be all about... crispy batter and succulent moist chicken meat......it’s not what ya spewing out over the counter to customers! ITS ALL DROWNING IN FAT BECAUSE YOUR TOO TIGHT TO COOK THE THING LONG ENOUGH AND PROPERLY AT A HIGH ENOUGH HEAT! Never again will we visit any KFC, sooner go hungry

Ordered a trilogy Zinger box meal, service was fast and very friendly staff on front counter, portion sizes wasn’t great but I suppose that isn’t something they control as it is standardised across all KFC’s. Would go back again.

Literally every table inside and out we’re filthy, and clearly no basic cleaning taking place let alone enhanced cleaning, one of the dirtiest food outlets I’ve every had the misfortune of visiting, plus the food was really slow and came with multiple items missing from our order.Terrible, I’m surprised it hasn’t been shut down.Will not be visiting again and would urge anyone considering eating here to go elsewhere.Also it was very quiet during our visit so there was absolutely no excuse.

I suggested going here before the cinema , my 9 yr old wasn’t keen as she said they’re all dirty! She was right! We were greeted by a staff member smoking in front of the entrance on the tables outside. There was approx 10 free tables and my daughter was trying to find a clean one! The order machine didn’t give out a receipt. I witnessed 3 separate complaints whilst waiting for my food, incorrect order, food not arrived and unsatisfactory burger! They had also ran out of salt sachets and napkins - we had paper towels instead! I also had to ask for my table to be wiped! Apart from that the food was nice ! The lack of staff , cleanliness and service was the problem!

Queued to get of single lane drive thru. Went inside. 1 order machine working so went to till. 1 girl serving and doing drive thru at same time. Popped in on a sunday yes it was raining the floor wasnt wet inside but very slippery like a greasy coating on the floor ordered a meal chicken very pink and chips not cooked through told the staff didn't seem too interested. So left almost went over on greasy floor on way out too.

well... where do I start? firstly, when I went to the counter to place my order, the man insisted I called him Jimmy B the cowboy chicken connoisseur, which I found very funny. the food was, as chris eubank would say, absthsoloutley thsupendous. jimmy B then gave me a kiss as I paid and called me his future cowgirl... Thought I would grab a quick drive thru. Terrible mistake. Burger & contents were part way out of the box that wasn't closed properly so I had to put it together to eat it. The smallest bag of undercooked chips were squashed under the burger box. Total waste of money.

Staff just do not care. After 20 minutes spent in the waiting bay, someone came over and asked me what I had actually ordered. Another 10 minutes waiting and I left with what I thought was my order. 2 meals consisting of chicken wings, chicken legs, mash potato and full fat coke was NOT what I ordered! I drove back and spoke to the manager and got my money back after a ‘very’ weak apology. I then went to wyvern branch where the colleague there said the lad I spoke to wasn’t even a manager, understandable why he wasn’t bothered and why this branch has such a poor rating!

We ordered our food from the screen. It turned up with a pleasant member of staff. The chicken was hot and tasty, chips were well cooked, great chicken gravy, lovely corn on the cobs. Great meal, great service. Clean and tidy. A positive experience.

Went last night about 7.45pm as daughter had finished swimming and was starving so just wanted to grab a quick takeaway meal. It was like the Battle of the Somme in there. The queue for the drive in was ridiculous and inside was no better. I wish I'd been a bit more on it and just walked out but I stupidly placed an order. It was absolute chaos. Orders were being filled in a random order. People were just giving up and leaving despite the fact that they had paid. Some people's waits were coming close to an hour and the staff just carried on farting around not filling the massively overdue orders. I waited just over half an hour and then heard the manager screaming and shouting at the staff in the back including saying he wouldn't be surprised if the customer waiting over half an hour didn't ask for his meal free which was my queue to demand the meal free. Good job really as when we got it home half the stuff was missing with loads of bags of chips thrown in instead but these were cold and the chicken was like rubber. Give this place a miss. The premises are usually filthy and the staff are beyond useless!

Ordered popcorn chicken snack boxes for my kids. They arrived and they had mini fillets and not popcorn chicken. The kids refused to eat the chicken and when I asked for it to be swapped they said they couldn't as they didn't have any popcorn chicken available. We should have been told this when we ordered. Was offered no apology or refund. The kids refused their food and so we had to throw it away and deal with 2 hungry kids.

Cold food and a total mess on every table. It's the second time iv ordered a burger and been told 7 mins for bacon while the rest of the food was on the tray. The staff non attentive and look miserable. I will not be visiting this restaurant again. All I can say is AVOID

Despite your promises of better service to me via email you're 'chicken' is still dry, rock hard, stale baps, cold limp chips.. So not finger licking good!!... Won't be using your shoddy 'services' again. Oh and to cap it all your stupid female staff didn't put the lid to my Pepsi on properly and so it leaked and fell out of the bag and went everywhere. Popped in before our film at odeon to get a quick bite to eat , it was early and we were the only customers in, we went through the doors which immediately I noticed how filthy the glass was , thousands of hand prints on the glass , there was wet floor signs out, but as I looked closer the floor was filthy with bits of food crumbs and my daughter was sliding about ! We sat at a table and looked down at the seats and they had bits of food and crumbs and as I looked up the lights above us were thick with cobwebs that were that long I had to pull it to stop it touching our heads , my daughter went to the loo , to shortly come and shaking her head ( she’s 11 ) saying “ err I’m not going in there “ so god knows what was in there ! I regretted even ordering anything I told my daughter not to touch the seats or table as I looked about every seat and table had crumbs and clearly hadn’t been cleaned for some time. We quickly ate and left seriously hoping I hadn’t got food poisoning! What on earth is going on ? Why can’t they get simple cleaning done , the place is dirty and I think health inspector needs to make a visit !! Sorry kfc you ought to be ashamed of yourselves ! I won’t be returning ! Spend a bit more and eat at Costa !!!

Needed a lunchtime snack before an afternoon cinema visit, what a poor idea, this is a fast food establishment that doesn't understand the concept, slow staff, slow service, food ok.

Quick visit to the 'restaurant' to pick up a lunchtime snack. This wasn't available, that wasn't available. The girl who served me was about as much use as a chocolate fireguard. If I ran that place, I would get rid of her!

Just popped in after work, was welcomed by a lovely lady named Carol. Had such a nice chat with her, she gave us very lovely service. Keep up your good work lovely, you deserve the best!

The added on price for sugar Pepsi instead of the very unhealthy offer of diet Pepsi... Why are you encouraging people to drink aspartame and other sweeters renowned for being poison to our systems?.... and charging extra for people to be HEALTHIER!!!... I'll never eat KFC again. 20 years of zinger tower burger being my favourite burger of all time ruined. Under-cooked, over-charged. Place ran by kids who clearly aren't motivated by national minimum wage.

We have been here a couple of times and we will never go again it is filthy with rubbish on the floor , bins overflowing and tables not cleared. We called in before a trip to the cinema and I walked straight up to the counter and there was no que and was blatantly ignored by staff who were solely concentrating on serving the drive thru no recognition I was waiting or an apology for the delay. After a 10 minute wait and still no attempt to take my order we just walked out past the long line of people who had come in behind us. Absolutely disgusting levels of customer service (and I work in a customer facing job in retail) and also disgusting cleanliness of the store no sign of any management or supervisors to run the joint...avoid like the plague as you probably won't get served like we didn't, we went to McDonald's and got served instantly and in a clean environment.

Myself and my son visited this kfc today as a treat after our cinema trip, i wish we hadn't bothered!! The place was filthy, yes it was busy but no excuse, macdonalds up the road gets just as busy but is always spotless. Our table was covered in other people's spilt gravy and looked like it hadn't been cleaned all week! My son nearly slipped over as the floor was covered in food. It looked like feeding time at a zoo. I've never been to such a filthy place kfc and the staff should be ashamed, it needs closing down. I couldn't even stomach eating my meal it went in the bin. I wish I'd took a photo to prove how bad it was but all I wanted to do was get out of the place. We will never return! Disgusting!!!

Visited this restaurant in the afternoon and had the misfortune to be served the food they’d cooked in the morning. The fries were over cooked and the chicken was very dry. My fault for not complaining as the food is usually good. However shame on the staff today for serving poor quality food.

This is my local KFC and I have 3 junk food junky kids who love a mc ds or KFC regular. It's a shame that on many occasions I'm waiting around at the drive through they seem to take ages even though it's not busy and have mess up few times now. I've also seen the staff messing around taking selfies in groups not hurrying at all. Seems unorganised and not managed well. Food taste ok most the time though.

The staff here mess up food orders like no tomorrow, I could count so many times where they have messed up for me, friends and family and has been this way since I can remember it being there, no communication between windows, absolute shambles..

Having not been into a KFC for 20 years , when I walked in , it was clear that I hadn't got a clue what best to order . The very young member of staff recognised this straight away & was extremely helpful , patient & polite unlike most fast food outlet staff . It was a good experience as the food was fine too . Obviously I can't say too much or rave about the food as it's a well tried recipe which we all know what to expect .

This place replaced a nice pub called the Locksmith ideal for the cinema etc

Nipped in as we went to The Range, I was shocked how dirty the place was, there wasn't a lot of people in, we ordered our food to eat in and had to sit on the high stools as it was the only relatively clean space, the food took a while despite there being a lot of staff behind the counterbut it still didn't seem very hot/fresh even though we had to wait for it to be cooked? , while we waited a guy went and complained that there was nowhere to sit as everywhere was dirty to which he got a yeh I will sort it, we sat there 45 mins surrounded by rubbish the other guy gave up and sat outside,there was one poor lad who was trying to empty the bins and clean up take food to cars and filled the spoons/forks whilst the other three stood talking I believe two were manager/supervisors or certainly acted like it by the way they were bossing the other one about. The whole place needs to go back to basics get some order, management who care and get it clean if your restaurant/ toilets looks like that what on earth are your kitchens like ???

Went to the drive thru on Friday night. We were waiting near the menus - just before the part you place the order, and opposite there is a concrete shed like thing they keep the bins. Two fat rats were running in the grass then in and out of the bins. Someone there left the door unlocked. Ask the staff about the rats. You can tell from the look on their faces they know about them. This place should be closed down

Cuando Ia pedido servilletas me dijeron que no había ninguna. (No conseguir algo por el tiempo que había terminado mi comida) las mesas estaban sucias las plantas abarrotada, y los contenedores de desbordaban. El personal del mostrador de forma gritando el personal de la planta y de vuelta. En una instrucción de la respuesta gritos fue cuando me ha sido por un tratarles mal! Los uniformes estaban sucias, personal desaliñada y nadie parecía a cargo. Horrible.

Although the drive through is quick and efficient and you cannot fault the staff, the food lets it down.We have found that it is not consistent, some times its salty and fatty, not quite cooked and on occasions it has been cold when its been passed through the window to us. They are in an ideal position but people are driving to other outlets.

When it first opened, they were making all kinds of errors with the orders - wrong food, not enough of something. It is much better now.

We ordered two banquets, and the service was quick. The restaurant was clean and tidy, and the food was as expected.

Extremely busy, staff didn't seem organized and were stressed. They shouted people for food which was a mere whisper.

Food as you would expect for a KFC BUT the Ladies loo was horrific. One cubicle had a smashed non-functioning lock but the worst was that neither pan had seen a loo-brush for weeks, if at all. Deeply unpleasant.

Shame on you kfcOK sorry readers but you won't like this review. This has to be the worst place to order fast food. An apparent supervisor shouting at the cooking staff in front of customers to get the right food cooked. All of the bins over flowing. None of the tables were actually clean. Even the exterior of the place had rubbish all over the car park. The ondition of this place made me contact the company to complain. Nothing has been done and for my comments kfc complaints team sent me a voucher for 2 pieces of chicken wings. Well no thanks. Take a leaf out of mcdonalds book and get a full time cleaner to clean the place. You've only been open about 12-18 months.

Went thru the drive thru tonight, ordered a tower meal when I got it ten minutes later the burger was thrown together and as usual barely edible - the fillet was smothered in tomato ketchup (you would have thought a child had made it) the ketchup was all over the inside of the box it came and the exterior of the bun it was thrown in! When I called to speak to the manager he was extremely rude to me accused me of shouting! and refused to give me his name when I asked him for it... This was 10pm Sunday 29th May - the so called manager then hung up on me! I threw my burger straight in the bin - disgusting customer service will never go here again!

I regularly come here as i love the food and usually have no problem with the exception of cold fries when i use the drive through, although when i use tbe drive through i never get given the condiments required for my meal, never get any serviettes or hand wipe, i also never get a spork or spoon to eat my beans. Inside i am able to collect all my condiments but the conditions are diabolocal, almost all the tables are filthy, most still have trays and food on them.

Ordered a new Double Bucket using the drive through. As previous reviews state only live 4 mins away but on arrival at home found the food cold and inedible. Contacted them and the manager agreed to replace the food. When I got back to them I also highlighted an out of time (2 hours) side order that had been put in the bucket (corn on the cob). I was given a brand new bucket ... Steaming hot which I duly took home..... Imagine my dismay when I found the same corn on the cob back in with my food !!!! A further call ensued ..... A full refund given for the food which I can't complain about but certainly won't be using them again !!!!

Not the first time! I think health and safety need a trip to this place see what hygiene rating they get, not going back

Used the drive through to try the Tuesday bucket with fries offer as a treat for my grandaughter.I only live 4 minutes drive from the meteor KFC and by the time I got home the whole meal was cold and I meen cold. dissapointed with the lack of care taken to ensure the food was hot and fresh, very slapdash and will stick to Mcdonalds in future.

We had to wait ages to be served, they didn't have everything in stock. The tables were dirty and hadn't been cleared, the bins overflowing and floor dirty. Had to ask staff twice to wipe down the table. Dreadful. Tried complaining to Kfc they passed me to 2 different departments both of which declined my emails - guess KFC don't want to know the truth

We recently visited this kfc for the first time. When we walked in everyday table was dirty. We asked for the pulled chicken burrito paid and waited. Two mins later we were told we wasn't allowed it because it takes 30mins to cook and prepare. We also asked for a boneless banquet box. Waited 15 mins for it and then they came out and said we had to wait 30 mins for corn on the cob to cook. We changed our sides. After all that the food was terrible. Never go again and id tell all my friends and family to avoid it.

Went today with partner and friend for three simple box meals ... Got home after ordering a 'big daddy meal' 'fully loaded' and the new 'bbq bacon box meal' - we opened one box meal to an open tub of gravy with no lid all over the food and packaging. The fully loaded was just a fillet burger with gravy out of date according to the label on top of it. And the big daddy was just the burger. No chips sides or chicken. I wouldn't waste your time in the slow drive thru line or waste your money on the poor food and service. Shocking.

Visited here on the 27th October at 8pm. On entry looked slightly.cleaner than last time and the girl on the counter managed a smile. Placed our order and waited 10 mins for it. Did state we were eating.in but no tray given to carry our food. Sat down and noticed all the tables looked like they had been wiped onto the floor! Bits of food quite literally everywhere. The counter girl did come out and start to tidy up but that left noone on the counter for 5 mins which meant she went back to a large queue. Not short on staff just short on staff that want to work for a living. Don't even get me started on the state of the toilets!!! All the staff appear to be teenagers which would explain the large congregation of teenagers outside when we left!! The first word we heard on exit was foul and I refuse to write it! There must have been 20 teenagers outside. I wouldn't eat here again if it was free.... I've eaten at roadside cafes with better hygiene standards. It's a disgrace to the kfc name and needs shutting.down

food handler was picking her nose and eating it which put us off eating..Food looked like pig swill and only had a plastic fork to eat with..Sweeping floors close to our eating table.Complete waste of money.

KFC will never be desirable. They don't clean tables cos there's no one on shop floor and when ordering coffee they reply "ant got none.... pause" ok can I have a tea then? "Ant got none.... " ok so I'm guessing you have NO hot drinks? Nod. Jesus. Grow a brain, get some customer service training and STOP mumbling!

Attended with my daughter, as a treat. Upon entry, the tables were littered with food waste and rubbish, as was the floor. The place was filthy. Assuming the patrons had only just left, thought someone would be out to clean up soon. However, when we left, 35 minutes later, it was all still there. The manager and staff should be thoroughly ashamed. I took these pics approximately 10 mins after arrival and just before we left.

Well. We went in KFC in Derby (Meteor) yesterday and spotted the staff eating in the kitchen from the over spill of fries. Also a member of staff smoking and returning to work in the said kitchen, to add to this the restaurant was filthy and felt grubby. A young lad came to wipe the tables and swept the debris on to the floor, now talk about making two jobs out of one. There must of been a manager present but the hygiene regs were clearly not supported in this case!!! I for one will not be returning to this poor excuse of a restaurant until the staff address their own personal hygiene of which turned my stomach!! I suggest who ever is in charge of this shambles take hold of their staff and introduce training and also throw in a bar of soap for a couple of them!!!

I love KFC but the ice cream machines never seem to be on here the last 3 times we tried to get a kushem it was off the staff are friendly and the inside is nice not much to say great KFC food

We thought this kfc would be better than the other local kfc's being a new one but we were disappointed. We were given half of our food when we visited the drive through which we didn't realise until home - we called 4 times allowing the phone to ring and ring but NO answer. Therefore £18 spent on half the food left unable to contact them unless to drive back. Lack of staff & lack of care seems to stand out here. What a shame to pull a good pub down to put this poorly run kfc here.

My boyfriend and i visited this kfc on a Sunday evening. The drive through was shut so there was a queue of four sets of customers. However, only one table was in eating. The toilets were disgusting! There was no toilet roll and food in the sinks. I mentioned that there was no toilet roll to a young member of staff who just grunted back at me - poor service! They had ran out of gravy, corn on the cob and beans, and all they were offering were coleslaw. However, both my boyfriend and I work in the hospitality industry so felt for the young woman dealing with some very rude costumer complaints.Food was of usual kfc standard! Good chicken and cold chips! The Pepsi syrup had gone, but the coffee was really nice! Overall, there is much better kfc's in Derby! (& they have gravy!)

Visited here for tea with my sister and kids and I've got to say it was filthy, there was only us in the place and we struggled to find a clean table to sit at, the toilets looked like they hadn't been cleaned properly in weeks, makes me wonder what it's like behind closed doors. I would understand more if the restaurant was full and the staff were busy but they just stood chatting behind the counter. I thought this place would be spotless with it being quite new but it really was dirty! Yuk!

Friendly staff,, the food was good, but even though it's a small thing to mention I wasn't impressed that when I ordered several "all stars boxes" the food was all mixed together and handed to me in paper bags as they had run out of boxes. I would have prefered it if a member of staff had notified me when I ordered.

The restaurant is lovely clean and tidy but the food was extremely well cooked and the tastiest kfc we've had

I wanted to go through the Drive Thru facility but the menu is right next to the ordering hatch instead of in a location where it could be perused without the pressure of having a queue of frustrated customers forming behind you.Ended up driving off without ordering and parking up to go inside.Not good!

We had to wait 12 minutes for one wrap and then when it came they didn't even give us the correct food order they never even said sorry for your wait the just shoved it in the table and carried on

O restaurante é um KFC como qualquer outro, possui variedades de frango e é bom para um lanche rápido.

The store is brand new. It looks really clean. My food was really nice and was not waiting at all. would definitely go again.

Went shopping to Meteor centre this lunchtime with my mum, we stopped for something to eat at KFC, it took 17 mins and some seconds from placing the order to having it served, I was not the only one waiting, chap before me asked for his money back he's been waiting so long and lady next to me waited at least same length of time, I only wanted burrito's and coffee, not exactly a shipping order, tasty when finally arrived but not at all hot, very dissapointed, wn't be going there again.

Hygiene standards inside are extremely low. Looks like it hasn't been cleaned for a number of days/weeks.

Purpose built building with drive through serving the normal range of KFC menu items. Outside seating area and plenty of parking available on site. When I visited the member of staff seemed more interested in talking to his mate's rather than serving customer's, perhaps some customer service training should be given.
